Well look, when the app for the Germans comes up just give them the region. I'm only a single metropolitan area, I shouldn't be big enough to show up anyway.

Fine except army is too high; 1% standing and such a massive number mobilized doesn't really help, and a mobilized army would've provoked neighbours into mobilizing already anyway.

my 1% would be 640,000 then the mobilized is less than 3%

I know, but the German armies (I assume you are going for historically) were historically very well trained and armed, and fairly expensive. I am fine with 600k, but not mobilized; mobilize IC

Oh, that's what you were talking about. I have no reason to mobilize, yet so why would I? I'm just saying that that's the amount if I mobilize.

Oh, that's what you were talking about. I have no reason to mobilize, yet so why would I?

Who knows, but mobilization causes neighbours to notice, and probably inquire and mobilize themselves; it was a major factor in WWI; I think it was Germany that mobilized, and though they were only doing it as a precaution, France mobilized too, the Germans took this to mean France wanted to fight but Frnace was doing it as precaution against germany, Russia tried to bmoilize because everyone else was, everything went to hell, poof, world war.

Yeah, I think that was essentially it. I read a whole book on it, but maybe I shouldn't have read it at night, because at the end, all I got from it was basically

Really, Britain? They're Lowngbowmen are pretty OP, but other than that they're pretty useless IMHO.


The Longbowmen are really OP. Mainly because the promotion carries on when they're promoted to Gattling guns, so you can have gattling guns with two range, instead of one.

That's pretty fucking OP xD

Carthage is so good. If you found every city on the coast, there is no need for roads xD

Carthage is so good. If you found every city on the coast, there is no need for roads xD

Plus, running elephants over mountains is fun.

The ships are useful too; once started in sort of Guinea-Equator area, used my ships and colonized an empty Europe :lol:

I just play them fur teh music. Dob't play much civ5 though.

Wow, looks like a lot of people here like playing as Britain. I might just have to give them a try some time :P

My favorite before Brave New World was France, by far. I don't really like their new ability, and I absolutely hate the fact that they removed the Foreign Legion.

Now, my favorites are probably:

1. Poland
2. Morocco
3. Austria
4. Arabia

Army: Out of fear of the Russians, Scandinavia's Imperial Army has a national conscription system and a standing army of around 100,000 personell. The army is the main branch of the military, acting out as both a defensive and offensive force. It relies more on quality than on quantity, and chooses it's weapons carefully. Importing most, but then altering them. It also aims for self-sufficiency.
Navy: The Imperial Navy has seen a boost to it's strength with the unifying of Scandinavia and the establishing of colonies, it has several ships ranging from dreadnoughts, merely one or two, to simple corvettes. It's main job is to protect the Scandinavian Empire from naval attacks, but also to clear the sea lanes to the colonies.
Goals: Scandinavia aims to modernise itself, and bring in more industriaisation to the land. It also aims to reclaim Finland from the Russians, and perhaps more if the chance is given, and expand in the African continent.
History: Scandinavia was united after the Swedish-Norwegian Armies came to Denmark's defense in the Second Schleswig War. ((Despite losing, Denmark found it safe in this new club, and so, after the childless Frederik VII had died, the crown of Denmark was passed to the Swedish king Karl XV.)) He then proclaimed the Empire of Scandinavia, and a new constitution was drafted, giving more power to the king. After his death in 1894, his son, Carl Oscar took power. Shortly after in 1899, his second son, and only surviving, Karl, was born.

Siam is suppose to have a colony of some sort. Not a big one obviously, But I'm supposed to have an Island of some sort. And on the Map it says I'm only Siam+Myanmar+One Bangladesh Province, when I'm also suppose to have either one Philippine Isle (The One above Borneo), or Maldives. :(

Can we fix this? Or is Siam just not gonna have any Colony?
