Description: Tijuana was briefly hit in the War, but recovered and rebounded fast. The city, while always powerful in the tourism industry, amped up its reputation as the Gateway to America by setting up many incentives for Americans to open businesses in the city, many of them based in software and engineering. However, Tijuana does suffer from the burden of a high crime rate, with the cartels having quite a lot of power within the city. However, they've grown weaker than they once had been due to the libertarian views on drugs in the modern Republican Party (which has ruled the USA for some time). In addition, the ISSR and Mexican police have worked quite hard to try and take down the cartels by force if need be. One of the best things about Crusader Kings 2 is that, if you get a character with an high Intrigue skill, you can basically become an absurd Chessmaster and start plotting your way to entire kingdoms and empires.
It gets even better when you play the Game of Thrones mod.
