Soon, other trainers such as Rey Mysterio and Mistico joined the academy's coaching them, helping Mil Mascaras in forming a new generation of luchadores.
The lucha libre style taught at the Academy is actually a legit and quite efficient martial art which blends colorful costumes, high-flying moves and showy displays of magic. The academy helps each student in designing their own lucha mask and gimmick, and aids them in finding work opportunities when they graduate.
The academy itself functions as some sort of wrestling federation, holding TV shows, PPVs and tournaments where the students can compete and show-off their skills. It's also got contacts with the Mexican government, which sponsors some of its events.
Notable Alumni: Various important luchadores who work in Mexico and the US' major wrestling promotions, and several Mexican Special Forces members.
Relationship with Elfen High: Santo and Demon once had a friendly tag team match against Crowley and Lewis. We aren't allowed to share the results, unfortunately.
