Also no just "reforming" your Pagan gods. Your Great Prophet is there to turn religious understanding upside down. I believe Trans laid that out awhile back.

Ahh, ok, then lets just see if I get that last Great Prophet to see what happens, I would probably make a Parthenon or maybe something else that the Isim are not known to do( yes, having a polytheism or ancestor worship in the eyes of the Isim will make the Watcher just a man like he is meant to be and will make a new religion to unify the people) but if I don't then I will adopt your religion because it is the only one around that can be adopted that is close to the Watcher and it is close by.

Well........... People are starting to troll our poll. At last semi-regulated count there were like one or two more for no then there were for yes. Now there are about 7 people that aren't participating that put up an answer on the poll.

That usually happens with polls around here.

Yep. There are twenty votes on the poll, and nowhere near that many people currently in the RP. Either someone is puppetspamming or people who aren't participating are voting.

Alright, battle thread is set up. Utce, I apologize if it seems unfair, but for a people who just got ships with 0 naval tradition, and inferior technology, plus the simple logistics of naval invasions at the time, really puts limits on how much you could realistically get to the island.

This is going to be a hard match for Utce, but it is going to be an interesting one to read, time to get the popcorn and lawn chair and watch Ultimate Warrior, Alternate History style.

It isn't. Or wasn't.
Where must we go, we who wander this wasteland, in search for our better selves?
In Egypt's sandy silence, all alone,
Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws
The only shadow that the Desert knows:—
"I am great OZYMANDIAS," saith the stone,
"The King of Kings; this mighty City shows
"The wonders of my hand." The City's gone,
Nought but the Leg remaining to disclose
The site of this forgotten Babylon.

We wonder, and some Hunter may express
Wonder like ours, when thro' the wilderness
Where London stood, holding the Wolf in chace,
He meets some fragment huge, and stops to guess
What powerful but unrecorded race
Once dwelt in that annihilated place.

I'm really relying on having a higher number of troops, since the Zawbara have a tech advantage, but I'm larger than them, based in the fertile Tigris-Euphrates region rather than the mostly desert Arabian peninsula, and the Zawbara have just been hit by plagues, so I assume my population, and thus my military, will be larger, even with the heavy losses due to the Nambiri not really knowing how to use the boats they just got. Of course, just Zerg-rushing them is a great way to die of disease, starvation from overuse of land, and being picked off at choke points, but I guess managing large armies intelligently is what my new level 5 Military ruler is for.

Speaking of which, tracking population is a bit of an Achilles heel for me in these types of RPs. Realistically, how many soldiers do you think Nambirithen could muster, and how many could make it to the Zawbarite islands?

Well, part of is is you need the boats in the first place: you more or less have to abandon them if you want your rowers to turn into soldiers, which you'll basically have to do, and even if you don't they're easy picking for the Zawbarite navy. And you can only build the boats so fast. I'd say 8,000 men is fair.

Yeah, we need to correct it. I've been super disorganized as of late; and I sincerely apologize for that.

Um... you're missing some prerequisites on that list there. How do you get to Iron Working without Bronze Working, or Advanced Construction without Masonry? Or the Trireme without Organized Fishing, which in turn requires a Calendar.
