Name of Culture, Language, and a brief description: The Vargar people are generally pale, with black or brown hair and blue eyes. They are a seafaring culture of warriors, merchants, and scholars. The capital of Vargarmark is Vargstad, which is also the largest settlement in the area. The language of the Vargar people is Vargtala, which is rarely spoken outside of Vargar settlements. Due to this, it is hard for the Vargar to conduct diplomacy, and as a result have always fought for what they wanted.

Briefly Describe, in a paragraph, your nation's religion: The Vargar pantheon is made up of a group of five major gods, with many more minor gods. The king is seen as the avatar of the gods, and the heir to the throne is chosen through a religious ritual from among the children and relatives of the king. The Vargar god of creation is Tid, who is also the god of time and space. Tid is the most important Vargar god, and the ancestor of all the other gods. The wife of Tid is Ara, the goddess of life and death. She created humans, animals, and plants to populate the world. Kam is the son of Tid and Ara, and the god of light and fire. He created the sun, so that it could provide warmth to the world. Kal is the god of darkness and ice, and the twin brother of Kam. He created the moon, so that the sun wouldn't overheat the Earth. Unlike most cultures, the Vargar gods of light and darkness are not associated with good or evil. Ki is the Vargar god of the sea, and the son of Kal. Ki is usually portrayed as a child, because of the recklessness, freedom, and chaos of the sea (like that of a child). There are many other Vargar gods, but these five are the most widely worshipped.

Well considering that I've completely ignored my border with them, and since Sox has been pretty heavily foreshadowing the rise of the Achaemenid Empire, I wouldn't be surprised if something similar actually happens and my soldiers (after messengers arrive) will have to do a U-turn and head right back home.

I just can't let you get the Straight of Hormuz though. Not yet, anyway. Nambiri stronk!

If you can intercept me in the water, my sailing tech isn't as good as yours, so you may be able to get me there. Though my mathematical abilities and increased patriotism and moral from my writing techs might give my a teeny advantage. I'm mostly grasping at straws, tech-wise you've got an advantage, though I'm bigger and about to research iron weapons.

Besides, you're too big to conquer in one go anyway, and half of your land is probably too far away. If you lose, you'll have to agree to not expand to Hormuz, possibly give me the northernmost of your islands and if I'm feeling mean, completely ROFLstomped you or REALLY think I need an ally against the Iranians I would probably make you into a tributary.

Because I am still hoping that Christianity( or modified in the Isim standpoint) in the west by the Isim in 0 B.C.E, and besides their is still some resentment that the Isim are isolationist( will change though) and they believe that it was because of Meleism that the Regicians have rebelled( which is not actually true concerning that the Watcher is like the Meleism god but he was actually a real person like all the other heroes and legends in the Isim's history), but if I don't get to be the one to father the Isim's version of Christianity, then I will do so.

That brings up a thought that I have had for a while... Since outside of our lands history is taking its normal course roughly, will stuff like Christianity and Islam be founded by their respective prophets at a certain point? Or will For Want of a Nail be in full effect, and cause history to change due to our civilizations being present so much that people like Jesus and Mohammed were never born?

Also, on the matter of religions resembling RL religions, how much is too much? Because I bummed the whole "all other gods are simply incarnations of Suzua" thing off of Hinduism, but it doesn't really have any other similarities with it.
