Hmm, could I conquer Gibraltar from Corsica?

Not realistically, no.
Where must we go, we who wander this wasteland, in search for our better selves?
In Egypt's sandy silence, all alone,
Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws
The only shadow that the Desert knows:—
"I am great OZYMANDIAS," saith the stone,
"The King of Kings; this mighty City shows
"The wonders of my hand." The City's gone,
Nought but the Leg remaining to disclose
The site of this forgotten Babylon.

We wonder, and some Hunter may express
Wonder like ours, when thro' the wilderness
Where London stood, holding the Wolf in chace,
He meets some fragment huge, and stops to guess
What powerful but unrecorded race
Once dwelt in that annihilated place.

I assume that the limits on coastal provinces will go away after a certain point in time, or at least when you research "colonialism" or a similar tech, so that you can settle/conquer the new world and things like that.

Yes. Colonies have their own mechanisms and how they perform that will be revealed as the age comes.

Okay. Paste those into every stat sheet that you have. The tech you're currently researching is also mentioned in the IC post, in the same section.

I might just fight you for Venice in a few turns. Berezebel's a lot closer and a lot more unified than the Greeks in this TL.

EDIT: Just realised one of my provinces is missing on the map. This one.

I don't suppose you know where my army is right now do you?

Again, doesn't really matter. You may get a defensive bonus but if he beats you in the battle for Venice, the province is his until you take it back.

I know. Also take into consideration that with Venice I have the benefits as applied. That should give me an advantage until and if he does attack. Shouldn't lose those benefits until I lose the point, either.

ONEEEEE last question. With the coming of the new era and the new governments, do I get to change mine? Because, realistically, if you don't keep up with the hip age, Early Antiquity speaking, you eventually get phased out.

I thought you said when the first EA government was applying that there was two more governments to choose from.

Technically there's one - Just like mechanics in games change from when they're revealed, so do the mechanics of this RP. I was debating on whether I should put this in Early Antiquity, but it seems preferential that I do. A sort of primitive empire, a kingdom administered with a Romanesque sort of way (Think the different provinces - no nobles, only ruler, below him are bureaucrats). I'll edit that into the OP momentarily, when you know, I've finished the massive essay worth 35% of my English mark that's due tonight.

Just fixed the error in which the IC tech tree only went up to the Iron Age.

Also, apologies for the short post. I have a massive essay due tonight, and that, I think, takes precedent.

You could take the Baleares, but not Gibraltar from then. You need to put some effort into taking them. Also, you wouldn't be able to hop two coastal provinces in one turn.
