Nero at least was competent in some regards.
Where must we go, we who wander this wasteland, in search for our better selves?
In Egypt's sandy silence, all alone,
Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws
The only shadow that the Desert knows:—
"I am great OZYMANDIAS," saith the stone,
"The King of Kings; this mighty City shows
"The wonders of my hand." The City's gone,
Nought but the Leg remaining to disclose
The site of this forgotten Babylon.

We wonder, and some Hunter may express
Wonder like ours, when thro' the wilderness
Where London stood, holding the Wolf in chace,
He meets some fragment huge, and stops to guess
What powerful but unrecorded race
Once dwelt in that annihilated place.

Some historians actually debate whether this was insanity or him just calling the Senate as competent as a group of horses.

Actually, Caligula just threatened to that. A lot of the stories of his madness can be traced back to him just being an idiot and widely hated.

I know. He actually went out and helped pull people from burning buildings himself... but he could at least have not taken up a 1/3 of the city with his new palace afterwards.

Be that as it may, we're probably dealing with somebody even worse... Joffrey.

This is basically a Joffrey, yes.

Alright, I've been doing some thinking. Should we create a Wiki for this RP? To sort of track all the developments that have occurred so far.

Also by which time should the Late Antiquity begin?

Definitely, it will help keep a cohesive history/where cultures are.
AH, PMT, some FT.

Your test scores indicate that you are an open-minded ultra-progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with a journalist. It appears that you are skeptical towards religion, and have a generally optimistic attitude towards humanity in general.
Your attitudes towards economics appear neither committedly capitalist nor socialist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as a liberal.
To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a considerate idealistic egalitarian with many strong convictions.

Alright, so the Iron Age is finished. I will make a request for the topic to be locked in moderation, and the next IC, Early Antiquity, will go up tomorrow, preferably at the same time. (It is much easier for me for that time.) For the old members (Those who participated in the Iron Age IC), you will check the latest update and use it for your first IC posts in the Early Antiquity IC thread. However, for convenience, I will also repost that update as the first post of the Early Antiquity thread.

Three positive answers so far... But remember, you guys would be in charge of maintaining your own pages.

As for Tiberium's question, Late Antiquity, as stated in the first few lines of the OP, would start at 300 A.D, which is a fair ways away.

You don't really need to code anything, iirc.

Cool. Though I was thinking we still had one more turn of this Age. Tran mentioned something previously about all Iron Age civs being granted all Bronze Age research as of the start of Early Antiquity. Which would kind of make it redundant.

Practicality, you understand. The idea popped into my head after I received a few complaints about the tech progression.

Of course. ;) Are we all (IA players) getting all the Bronze Age techs or not?
