As we have most of the oil in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, we start shipping it across the Empire. We ship it to Britain, to South Africa, some is on its way to Australia and some on the way to Canada. When we settle in Canada and Australia (Both should be on next map update) we will be able to draw forces from every part of the globe. That is a good feeling.

Our empire at the moment is = 4,248,747 KM2 (Including Perth and Quebec)
Nothing compared to the British's old empire = 33,700,000KM2

With the spheres of influence with Jefferson agreed, The empire sends both troops and diplomats to Alaska, and the Hawai islands. All of Alaska, and all of the islands in the Hawaii Islands except for O'ahu, Maui and Hawai'i are incorporated into the Empire. The Pearl Harbor base area on O'ahu is also annexed by Jetan as per the agreement with Jefferson. In the case of the Hawaii Islands, this was mostly a diplomatic effort, and in the case of Alaska, just sort of take over, as there is little population left, and that little was not organised. People will be needed from other parts of the empire, to take full advantage of the natural resources of Alaska.

Elsewhere in the empire, first Jetanese satellites after the collapse have been launched. The operation has mostly been a succes, altought one of the satellites was damaged in a failed launch, and needs repair to reach operational status again.

Ragnarum has successfully launched its first rocket mounted satellite into orbit from a launchpad near Stuttgart. It begins an new era of space stuff, and gives Ragnarum an advantage for now.

Elsewhere in the empire, first Jetanese satellites after the collapse have been launched. The operation has mostly been a succes, altought one of the satellites was damaged in a failed launch, and needs repair to reach operational status again.

Ahh shit i forgot about that. The Satellites are up and running. All went smooth except the one which took some skill to get up there, but lets not go into detail. We now have better tv and phone reception in the Empire. We have also figured a way to stop other people trying to use them. We now grant full use of the Satellites to Thafoo as well as us.

Uieurnthlaal begins its own space program. Despite the relative failure of our scientist-relocation project, we still have a lot of scientists and engineers relative to our population, many of them looking for jobs, so we're setting them to work on this project.

The Polish satellite is in space and broadcast is good. we have good imagery of earth and we also can track movements of other nations. The freeway project is so massive that from our satellite it looks like a gray marker drew through Poland

In an unbelievable plot twist that makes no sense except to serve as a poorly thought-through plot device to advance the idea that Scandinavia is the best, it turns out that we've secretly been working on a space program for the past three years. We are currently launching our prototype satellite, capable merely of observing the earth in different wavelengths and sending back signals.
