Now, I don't know exactly who broke the island right to the south of Sweden, but its borders are gone, and so you can delete it off the map totally. I think I'll be able to fix it when I'll be able to update, in three days, but if not, Neo will have to RP some natural disaster sinking the island.

What "no"? Most of the future war by the SEI will be sponsored and conducted by my Asian merchant fleets there, not by the Spanish armada directly. And most of SEI is made up of ports and shipwrights, so shipbuilding is a less problem there.

Well, the only way we can choose is to let each player choose who he's think would be best for that, and then we tally it up and the top five or however-many get there.

Merchant fleets. I don't think merchants can fight in a war. And win.

To be fair, much of the Royal Navy was made up of merchant ships during the second world war.

And they can be extremely effective if they are piloted (?) properly, and used in bulk. Always in bulk.

On a serious note, you raise a good point. It may never be created, though Elmet does intend to create some sort of NATO-esque alliance in the future. Probably with a different name.
