I have. It isn't working when we are still in 1870 after 30 pages of IC. And at what point would there be people who aren't in negotiations?

By negoatiations the Co-OP's mean the ones that started in August. After those are over, then we will advance the time.

And define "working" because pretty sure this RP has been very successful. With a time system, the RP would have died rather quickly.

True, but talking about realism, we also signed a defense pact. So realistically speaking we have certain obligations to follow. Also, Italy helped us in times of need, so we also owe him.

So we will just move time ahead at arbitrary times that may benefit some players more than others.

And define "working" because pretty sure this RP has been very successful. With a time system, the RP would have died rather quickly.

We are still stuck in the first year of the RP and during that time more things has happened then in the entirety of the decade. In terms of activity, longevity and, possibly, amusement, this RP has been quite successful, but in regards to realism the same can hardly be said.

Nope. We are moving time based on when the RP needs to move along. Right now we need it to move along, so it was agreed to move time to 1871 as soon as the August negotiations are over.

I have no particular need for the RP to take a leap forward right now, I have several balls in the air that I would like to see properly landed without having to worry about some imposed jump. Who decides when the RP "needs" to move forward and what criteria is used to determine that?

A Defense pact is not the same as a blank check. Now, if Austria were to declare war on Piedmont-Sardinia, fine. Send all the troops. But since the Piedmont-Sardinians are on the OFFENSE, what kind of defense is that?
