Rednael wrote:Noir? I don't that genre very well, but I was thinking of something in between suspense, horror, and thriller. It would focus on the case of a murder of a girl, who has some similarities to a similar case from 50 years ago, and the killer executed 30 years before then. The players will be playing as the investigative group that is sent to find out who the culprit is.

I'm not sure if I should incorporate supernatural themes in it and if it should be in the modern day, or be set in the sixties, or in 40's.

Interesting.

What should I elaborate on more?

Hmm... you'll have to build up some suspense, like, the connection not known right off the bat. The team would have to find the connection. The setting, as the 40s should work well. Yes.... Yes I think this can work.

40's huh........... I wasn't planning for the similar case to be found that easily, also I forgot to mention there will only be a single or two officers or investigators who have had experience in working in a case, everyone else it just a rookie........ But if it were the 40's, women wouldn't have been able to work on the case........ Damn sexism in the past....

Hey, that app I made. Well, I had written this short story. i final got it all finished up now.

My first short story.
Lucille

It had been a long time—such a long time—since last I had seen my love, Lucille. I remember the day as if it was only today, for it is still fresh in my mind, as fresh in mind as the breakfast I have just consumed. It is as fresh in my mind as the sun that rises each day and shines so sweetly through the slits of my cell's window before my coming here.

I was behind the counter in the shop—Moore's—that was what I called, rather uncreative, but it worked. I had worked in the dread place for years—feeling the emptiness of loneliness wreaking havoc on my soul. My hair was greying slightly, and my mood was often soured by the stench of the place, but I could not be more elated then I was by the otherworldly sight of my love in all her beauty I had long ago thought lost to me.

She was slender, her eyes sunflower blue, her high cheekbones, and flowing brown hair I loved so well was all there and as perfect as I remembered. Her face did not reflect the passage of time, and as she strolled in the shop I saw a glimmer of recognition in her eyes.

See asked for a pair of sheers, trimmers actually, that she four use for her garden I remembered her always be so proud of keeping. This was an old-time store and all the items were behind the counter and on shelves, so I turned my back to her, grabbed her purchase, and then turned to speak to her.

"Lucy, it’s so nice to see you again. You look not to have aged a bit—your face free from ravages of time, by child birth you have not been molded, and by men you appear to be untouched," I said in a truly emotional way. I could tell she felt the same love for me I still bore for her.

"What? I'm sorry, Lucy—"

"I told you true love always finds a way, Lucy. I'm here and you’re here, will you not love me?"

She started crying for no apparent reason.

"Lucy, why do you cry? Love always remains, Lucy."

"Please, leave me alone. My name is Elizabeth, my mother's name is Lucille—"

She was interrupted by my action of passionately kissing her beauteous lips. It was long since I had felt such sweetness. Then she turned and ran into the black of the night. I warned her not to run into the darkness—it would consume her—and I ran after her with the item she had forgotten.

We ran down an alleyway. It ended and she was pinned and crying as if afraid.

"Don't cry, you are safe, Lucy."

"Please, I don't know you. Stay away!" She cried this desperately.

"You always had a will to you, yet you were so delicate, Lucy. Come with me, for its time for our love to flower."

"No, I don't—ahuuh," she began to say something before emitting a sound not unlike the cooing of a dove. I looked around for what had made her make the beautiful noise and saw the sheers, bloodied, and about ten feet away from her and myself. How they had gotten there I don't know, but I left her living flesh, so warm, beautiful, and much of it dark crimson from the blood oozing out of her lovely belly, after I kissed her again.

When you have reached your dream or you cannot reach it, either find another dream or keep on trying and hoping. Hope that there will be a second trip to Mars and you can be accepted, for someone to give up on a dream that easily would mean that they either really didn't want it or that their hope is too fragile.'dint lose faith in your dream Jariri, it still might happen.

Your pessimism is amazing, especially for such an ambitious and imaginative individual such as yourself, may I ask you a question? You said in your RMB that you must not give up in uniting every Muslim people or something similar, even though they have said that you are being manipulated because of your "pureness." Your ideas and ideals are in a massive scale, why is it that you can't handle this? This just as "impossible" as doing the same thing that you suggested in your region's message board.

Another question I have is that, why do you think being old will be boring?

1- You look at what I post in the RMB...? Ok....

2- Old people have no imagination... (or at least I feel I will)

3- My political ideals, I genuinely believe in even if the rest of the region doesn't, but the requirements for Mars-One have absolutely NOTHING for me to work with....I can't magically become 10 cm taller...and I can't obtain any real drug to make me taller either.
By the time shorter people can go to space, I'll be an old man.

I was simply looking because you said you were going to be fighting with your region's president, that was my sole reason for checking it out. So your belief is that once you get older, you will no longer be capable of being imaginative? It will only be boring if you think so, thoughts are very powerful, if you think that, of course it's going to happen.
