Ancient machines of eternal clockwork reawakened, unstoppable, the only emotion they can feel is....determination/ambition/something as such.

They're also near indestructible, and they can keep going on going with very little to inhibit them from their goal, and they possess an ancient power long forgotten capable of killing immortals.

Ivan heard metal clanging against stone, with an odd rhythm to it, as if someone were walking up the stairs. As it got louder he assumed it was one of the knights walking towards him. As he returned to his book he felt a certain cold feeling in his gut, if he were to describe it, he would say it felt like cold iron cutting through his soul. He turned around, to see a odd iron figure, his eyes widened as he recognised it. He was about to utter a plea for his immortal life when his voice was silenced by a wet tearing sound, he realised it was his neck being sliced, the following thump was his head hitting the floor...

So how would Damien react to them?

Utter human immortal terror. A sense of helplessness as unlike other so called 'hunters' these machines have almost no perceivable weakness, nothing can stop them, even the Tistes themselves can hardly slow them. Truly they will be the most powerful foes he has ever encountered.

They are the oldest and most powerful of the immortal hunters, they have no sense or feeling of mercy, and were long thought to be destroyed until they mysteriously return during a prophesied event, a day feared by all immortals.

Since their technically machines, not even Death itself can stop them.

.......

Doesn't matter, it doesn't exist in your universe. Its a whole completely different story.

Moving on, if Damien found a way to (under a certain extent) revive the dead, I have a few ideas.

finally got pages up for the three main character types in the Gamma World (Pure Strain Human, Humanoid, Mutant Animal) in addition to Android up on the wiki. Along with some factions.

When I think of mutant animal societies in the Gamma World, I tend to imagine something like The Animals of Farthing Wood, or The Tales of Renard the Fox. Especially the Animals of Farthing wood when imagining how their communities might have began.

(Part One to the episode here)

It's a British Cartoon, I watched both seasons over the course of a few weeks, I really enjoyed it.

''You do not understand immortal, they cannot be stopped. Once summoned they bend the fabric of fate itself towards their favour. No mortal instruments can slay them, the power of the Tiste themselves cannot deter them from completing their one and only purpose, to bring about the day which your kind has feared for as long as we can remember, the Day of Signs.''

I found the cartoon on a ten most disturbing children's cartoons from around the world, and yes, this show is, well, a teenager can appreciate it, though, well. Hmm... in case anyone is watching it I wont say much. Though I do like the social themes of the show, which is why I watched the entire series.

That too! I read the book, and when I think of the origin of the Bonapartist faction, I imagine a situation like that in Animal Farm.

I suppose you could say that, it touches on a lot of subjects. Spouse abuse, murder, betrayal, deception, lose... over all a good series for teens. You get to see Fox's physiology change as he takes on leadership, and even Snake as well (though snake hardly changes), both are my favorite characters in the series. The series builds quite a death toll as the group makes it's way to White Deer Park. In fact, it begins building early in the series. The series got away with all as the characters are animals, and animal violence is permitted. It was apparently quite popular.

I should watch that soon, after I finish David Tenant's finale, treading ever so closer towards his touching and memorable end:

I honestly nearly cried first time after watching his end.

BACKGROUND THEME 1

THEME 2

Which one is better do you think?

Image

The end is nigh...

I'm going to die.

The Ancient Runes Speak of a Race of Iron and Blood

A Race Destined to Devour the Eternally Bound

Beings with no Conscious but to Hunt Down and Eat to Satisfy their Summoned Hunger

There will be no Peace

The Final Fruit will Fall

No Army Can Stop Them

The Angels Can only Weep in their Path

Damien is seen covered in scars and bruises, surrounded by fire, struggling to keep moving as he's limping, desperately trying to reach an unknown location before collapsing.

You've lived a long life, immortal. Longer than many more of your kind.

The sleep that awaits you will indeed bring pain.

But take it, as a testament to the life you lived.

For no one can escape them and they shall not stop until their own craving ceases with the last of the immortal spirits eaten.

This is but the Beginning of the End.
