Extract from Hoyle's Official Registry of Erotic Positions, Vol. II, Page 44:

#67c. The "Fucking Hug":
The name essentially defines itself to the point of redundancy. Not to be confused with Number 98d (the "Upstanding Librarian") or number 117b (the "Hokkaido Hambone" [apocryphal]).
Number of participants: No more than 2-3
Difficulty rating: 4-8.5 out of 10 (depending on the height and physical fitness of participants)

IC post may have to wait until tomorrow as I'm currently knee-deep in a pretty big retcon for Page;'s service history, as one of my new plotlines require he spend a little bit more time in Britain and Iraq before leaving for Spain in late 36. Hopefully, I'll get everything finished tonight.

Well kour, here's the story:

It was the 70s. The defense minister and west Germanys top brass were knocking beers back, one of them pinched the ass of a hot secretary named greta. Then one of them asked "hey! Why not blow a million euros developing a combat car that has no use in today's warfare!" the defense minister said "I FUCKING LOVE IT!"

So work on the flugpanzer started.

However, the top bass of the armed forces were hung over the month after (the secretary turned out to be the chancellors wife). They saw the flugpanzer and they immediately scrapped it.

Then again that's the first time I saw the flugpanzer.

He's not drinking tiger.

Besides, having a guy drink after he was tortured for 6 weeks?

The fuck is wrong with you? :p

Oh, I know he's not hitting the bar, that was an unwise blanket statement earlier.
But it is a bit odd that while Page and Pat (and probably Talbot, though TJ hasn't mustered up a post yet specifying his condition) are all hospital cases at this point, Michael isn't. He's getting around just fine. I wonder why that is? Perhaps he was just tougher, resisted torture and deprivation of all kinds better than the rest?
Unlikely, but possible.
Or...could he have been treated better in captivity, perhaps, for some odd reason, leading to the recovery from his time in the Chateau being extremely short upon liberation? Why would that have happened? Maybe he...was on better terms with his captors...resulting in better treatment...maybe he was even...cooperative with them?

Balk, you are a tricky man, with all of these things to leave us pondering.

You know damn well that Michael would never betray his home by collaborating with Germany.

Besides, perhaps Konrad was focused on page and left Michael to rot?

And maybe I should add in my next post that his body is sore......

Oh, I'm sure things would seem that way upon first blush - family killed, home subjugated, all that. But the SS have refined many ways of getting people to act in their interests, even amongst those who should hate them. Their tools and tricks are many and varied...
The balkens wrote:Besides, perhaps Konrad was focused on page and left Michael to rot?

Maybe. Although we do have remarkably little information on what actually happened to Michael in there...almost anything could have taken place...
The balkens wrote:And maybe I should add in my next post that his body is sore......

That would go a little ways to deferring suspicion.
Maybe also note the starvation and such.

Even more interesting, especially given that Excalibur has had a spate of bad luck recently...including an op that shows all the signs of having been blown sky-high...from inside...and someone leaking information about the squadron as well, including names, ranks, and countries of origin...only a very few people know those things...
