You'd be in at Manston, right? You're already part of the squadron and all.

Got it.

Bathurst, here we come!
Besides, what better way for a squadron to get to know each other than on a two-day plane flight covering three continents?

To be fair, it's not a very good picture. Most of them I found on GI were way too big.

I'm not saying its ugly because its a bad picture. I'm saying its ugly because its ugly. Then again, most flying boats are.

The only percussive musical stylings that Zeke enjoys is that created by an airscrew rotating in such a way that it pushes against a mixture of 78% N2, 20% O2, and 2% various other gases, creating thrust, and, as a byproduct, sound.

It was very weird to be reading up on the Battle of the River Plate and discover that the Germans had an auxiliary vessel (much like the Altmark) left in reserve at Montevideo that also just happens to be named after the town about twenty minutes south of me.

I'll grant you that its less ugly than most flying boats, but those winglets are still pretty ugly. Give me the Spruce Goose any day.

True. I'll definitely give you Catalinas.

Imagine my surprise, being from Tennessee, and being asked to do a project in 10th Grade on the Battle of Fort Cumberland, only to discover it was in Canada.

Bought a couple of those GURPS WW2 RPG supplement thingies as pdfs, they look pretty damn useful for coming up with ideas
by the way, if anybody ever wants to discuss a story/plot/character idea thing with me, my TG box is always open

They're lift-generating pontoons that serve as a passenger gangplank, the design of them is sheer genius!

I'll get back to you on that around mid-1941.

So guys, I'll be away until probably the 6th due to a trip into the Alaskan wilderness; you know, the one with no wifi (currently posting from Seattle International, might just visit Tigger while I'm here). Just keep in mind Cliff, always the quiet type, won't be saying much for a while. Feel free to RP his reaction to stuff (don't leave him at Manston, etc) and try not to kill him.

Thanks m8s

I'm thinking I'll sit this Op out and wait a little more. Helps me think about what I want to do with Samantha now.

I often wonder how an ES meetup would go down.
