Contrary to what the movie says, everyone in the 24th Foot had some manly facial hair of manliness.

Which is why they kicked major Zulu ass.

Alternatively it was because they had guns and the Zulu had spears.

But that's just a theory.

A proportion Zulus had modern British firearms, taken from Isandlwana. It was also 141 British troops, against 4,000 Zulus. The Zulus should have been able to overrun the garrison, rifles or not.

But that's just a theory.

Firearms which they had no training in how to operate and little ammunition.

The Zulus had about 1,000 Martini-Henry's (not all committed) and a plentiful store of ammunition, owing to the fact that it had all been taken from the massacred British Regiment at Isandlwana. They were also able to take up positions on the high ground around Rorke's Drift and plunge fire down on the defenders. But, no, they certainly couldn't shoot to the standard that the British could - probably why the fire didn't amount to anything more than suppression and harassment.

Either way, Rorke's Drift should have been overrun through numbers alone.

Not necessarily. It was a well constructed and prepared defensive position, with stone buildings, clear lines of fire in all directions, and actually it's small size worked in it's favor. It prevented the Zulu commander from utilizing all of his forces to crush the outpost. Only about (IIRC) 600 Zulu could be engaged at any given time, because any more than that led to a lot of Zulu standing around watching what was going on.

Of course, the piecemeal nature of the Zulu attacks was what really sealed the victory for the British. A hundred fifty men in a well defended position can hold off six times their number easily, especially with superior weaponry and training.

 Surprise! You caught me!

Yeah, I actually did like it, but really it was only for the same reason I kinda liked the Star Wars prequels. It kind of gave me an idea of how the past which was canon linked to the more "modern" sequel series'.

She has elf ears, yes. She also has wings on her back, and a tail corresponding to the tail section of the BF-109. If the 109 was shoved up Link's ass, I doubt that it'd have the wings on the outside of his body, nor would it's wheels appear on the feet, or even have an external fuel tank strapped to the chest. But more importantly!

Having a plane shoved up your ass would, under no circumstances, be cause for a hair color change, let alone a genderswap! As such, the evidence is irrelevant and null! Holding the preceding statement "tis true tho" as false!

HOWEVER, WE COULD REASONABLY CONCLUDE THAT THE ACT OF FORCING AN AIRCRAFT UP SOMEONE'S RECTUM WOULD PERHAPS CAUSE THE AIRCRAFT'S STRUCTURE TO ACTUALLY COMPROMISE THE INTEGRITY OF THE BODY'S STRUCTURE, CAUSING ELEMENTS OF THE PLANE"S FUSELAGE TO APPEAR ON THE BODY'S EXTERIOR!

While such accusations could be taken into account, and present a good argument, there is one crucial problem with your statement! You are not the one arguing it, nor are you the prosecutor of this court! So why argue from such a third party position when your statement cannot be solidified into a counter-argument against my evidence? Or maybe, you're trying to tip the scales of the court in the plaintiff's favor! Surely such an act is illegal, is it not?!

Now's your chance kid, go pull the whole "Link is actually dead" card... it would explain this all away, or even better yet, point out that he is indeed an imaginary character and thus is subject to such incredulous changes as a fictional character!
