We could do that.

Also, the US does not seem to have a vote in the General Assembly. Something that we should also, consider?

Its so far gone that OP should pick. But speaking of how far off we are, what happens in the UN is that their's a "speaker's list" in which people talk about the issue. Eventually people make a "working paper" that paper is submitted and then amendments can be added to it. From their it is debated and then when the speaker's list is empty its gets voted on immediately whether its finished or not. If its a no its scrapped and can't be brought back. A no from any of the B5 is an instant veto.

Yeah, but should we not split the UN thread then? So one for General Assembly, and one for Security Council, so that they don't get mixed up. I am sure there are other voting stuffs too, so we could split this a lot.

Limborg, Bahrain was my colonies and America as a naval base there. Don't you think you're getting a little too cocky about those protestors?

Bahrain has been facing riots for the past two years... it isn't anything new.

Wikipedia:
Inspired by the regional Arab Spring, large protests started in Bahrain in early 2011.[86][87]:162–3 The government initially allowed protests following a pre-dawn raid on protesters camped in Pearl Roundabout.[87]:73–4, 88 A month later it requested security assistance from Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries and declared a three-month state of emergency.[87]:132–9 The government then launched a crackdown on opposition that included conducting thousands of arrests.[88][89][90][91][92] Almost daily clashes between protesters and security forces led to dozens of deaths.[93] Protests, sometimes staged by opposition parties, are ongoing.[94][95]

It is not covered widely in western media though, regarding how close they are to the US.

Will technological development take place in this RP?
If so, do you need a techtree?

See the post again, putted a part of Wikipedia stuff in it.

The protests over there aren't coverd simply becouse the west doesn't supports those uprisings. Same with Sadui-Arabia and such countries.

As it is rapidly expanding, the OP is concerned about technology, and I think he would very much appreciate help on that matter.

Also, regarding the UN Security Council, I doubt that the two (2) African states, where one of them has never posted, will need to fill up 3 places.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the info.

BTW, European nations need to use the EU page more so we can discuss stuff. I feel like its a more efficient way for me to relay information and requests to each other.

By the voting rules they need to. Not our choice. We'll just have OP assume their votes.

That would actually make for a good idea and maybe post-apocolyptic rp. But only if we did it right.
