North Korea's nuclear weapons aren't that big, anyhow, especially not for a place like South America.

Last I checked, this was a Real World RP. Not a fantasy RP.

What circumstances have arisen that have caused customs officals to suddenly become careless?

My point exactly, it's far from impossible, which means it has no grounds to be deemed godmod.

Stupid ICly? maybe, Fail at a port? Possibly - I am hoping we get a argentina to objectively RP the port people? Staight up godmod? No.

Mach, all of your arguements have been defeated besides saying a port official is going to see it - OK, we'll deal with that when we get there, You still aren't showing why its straight up godmod.

Well, to start with, this actually happened in real life when North Korea sent a ship with armament to Cuba, and it was intercepted and the material, although well-hidden- was discovered.

It's not to do with customs officials- who, in Argentina, can be bribed- but rather with the conditions in Bolivia.

This is a Chinese Marked shipped. And even if this is discovered, which it could be China will be pissed at whoever stopped their ship. And China will take action most likely as you stopped one of their ships.

Yes, its entirely within the bounds of realism, but like I said, thats subjective - one sets what 'realism' is at his own bounds.

It may be a stupid plan ICly, but like I have said a half dozen times, no one is saying it straight up impossible.

Can I also make the point that a convoy of UN trucks crossing from North Korea to China would almost certainly have been noticed by US spy satalites, seeing as there's not a great deal of traffic between the two countries (except, of course, the refugees fleein North Korea), and trucks (UN ones, no less) would have been tracked.

I didin't know U.S spy satellites could track a convoy of trucks moving at 60mph when the sattelite is moving at 17,500 miles per hour in orbit.

You don't get the point. This was tried already. North Korea recently sent a ship containing armament to Cuba. It was intercepted (even when it did not display any military signs) and the material, although well-hidden, was found and confiscated.

This is assuming, of course, that satellites are watching that area at that time.
In addition, China and North Korea have relatively regular transport across the border, for a hermit kingdom's border.

Wanna provide sources to that?

Even in geosynchronous orbit, the idea of a satellite remaining constantly pointed at one spot - ONE small border crossing, constantly filming, then be able to point out a convoy of trucks, FURTHERMORE identify they are marked U.N, then LEAVE that geosynchronous orbit at a whim to spy on them entering China is absurd.

So let me get this straight, the USA is going to watch a UN convoy all because is in transit from two countries? Even though-..it is FAR stretched about the satellite itself from earlier comments.

I didin't know the U.S navy had a blockade of ships right by Argentina just like Cuba, right?

I also didin't know foreign imports to Argentina where banned and subject to full search just like Cuba.

It didn't even reach Cuba. It was stopped before arriving to the Panama Canal, in the Pacific Ocean.
