Anybody still intending to rp in the city thread about being at the swearing in, or could I continue forward?

No a majority of voters who are actually active

Currently online, or active as in, were here in the last [reasonable amount of time]?

Call me Jon, John, or Johnny, Jonathan or Jonnyboy, tJS and Jonathanian, with "states" or without.

The New Lowlands is very much accepted, of course. Also, I'm going to compile a list of Lounges, Pubs and possibly even brothels depending on how much more sexist we're going to get.

We're 14 Senators including Britanno. The majority you need is still at 6.5-- 7-- OOC Senators. If we automatically assume that those inactive abstain, it would allow us to keep them in the RP and still have a fluid Senate.

You said that Brit wanted out so why would count him, and if we do count him the majortiy would have to be 8 right?

Police force (tl;dr police can decide which crowds to disperse following their own judgement), Criminal code (tl;dr murder, rape and bullshit are illegal) and Ministry of Defense Act (tl;dr army now has a leader etc)

Brit wanted out, yes. Well, no, actually. He said he doesn't have the time and I convinced him to stay in but he's busy elsewhere, so I'd rather I TG him "Hey, Brit, it's fine, you've been replaced" instead of "Hey, Brit, you're out." And the majority would be 7 because we'd be 13 Senators that are still technically confirmed-- and therefore do not necessarily always abstain.

Well, I've never exactly sworn any leader into office before, and all the ones I've watched on television have been deeply related to (a) God. What exactly do you want me to say?

I suggest 'Do you swear upon your honour to pledge yourself in service of the Republic, to the ideals of her people, to the maintenance of her customs and the defence of her sovereignty?' or something like that.

Do you _____ _____ Solemnly swear to carry out your duties to the best of your ability, to represent the best interest of the people of Corburn, to maintain their ideals and the sovereignty of this nation, and uphold the image of the Office of Prime Minister by acting respectfully towards all?

How is that

You have actually renamed it to "The King's head.",well, good luck with finding one,as I only know of an emperor, and a prince. But well, prince may refer to the heir of a King.....
so,Winovia, maybe have the decency of offering your own head for your own ambitions?

EDIT:
Also, why so anti-Monarchist paramilitary?

Here was supposed to stand a comment about our paramilitary which has been removed due to security issues.

Lock 'n load, I say, Lock 'n load.

Seriously though, any attempt at guillotining anybody (except Winovia possibly) will definitely result in a bloodbath, and probably a massacre of the responsible(s).

Well, as they say, Negras tormentas agitan los aires,
nubes oscuras nos impiden ver,
Aunque nos espere el dolor y la muerte,
contra el enemigo nos llama el deber.
