Corburn National Police, they're important because the passing of my Police Act banned paramilitary groups, and they're currently our only defense against Jonathan, except they haven't been formed yet.

Which is why we need to nationalise the private police.

The CNP is the National Police.

Ah, of course! I thought you were referring to the Corburnian National Party, which should change its name and/or acronym.

@Oceania: in the sense that Jon is using soldiers to use against the other senators, while these other senators are using private police officers to use against Jon. It's like a really bloody large-scale chess game.

Would that require a motion or legislation?

Oh yeah... They both are abbreviated the same way. Hehe, funny.

Also, that is called politics, my friend.

That's basically it. The motion typically calls for the Senate itself to take action, and a law has its own process as to how what gets done.

There aren't any crimes, because the criminal code never passed.

Thanks, but I'll pass.
Was fun to cause trouble, and bring the republic to its endAnd yes, that would've been it's end - had you not intervened,
but now any other role would bore me to death, having experienced the plots of war and revolution, and being limited to more.... conform actions.

OR did we? I mean, it is a sunday? Did any of the good-Varangian-temple-goers notice anything? Or was it just that one nobleman who locked himself in his castle?

We did.

Also for Jonathan's finale, here's a quote on how democracy and the Republic will prevail:

“Man will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest.”

Eh... Eh...

I don't think the Varangians will be too pleased about this.

Also, I guess the Monarchist party is quite, riveled, by this latest announcement.

Actually, you could go into hiding as Jonathan still, report as a journalist under a pseudonym (Nahtanoj of Corburn-Kohr?), and continue to cause issues. If you're still interested in the role play, that is.

Sorry, but
a) Journalism really isn't my strength
B) Again, after having plotted the downfall of the republic, and having actually managed to complete my plot, anything else would be to boring.

C) Ark, I told you the senators would enable me to do it, and it happened.

One nobleman (and his army - even without the posts of today, I'd still have the paramilitary - which might've been enough to gun down the senate should they outlaw it) - though not enough to survive the military's onslaught.

A) Emperor mind you
B) It's hard to strangle a person in a castle, surrounded by tanks and armed men.
