That's my point.
I placed in a different Clause 2 - the part you quote has never been in the bill.
And hell, even prospect voted for my version.

Clause 2 was passed in the bill under different wording than the LP demanded. It still maintains the implications. With 2/3 vote, the Senate can overthrow you.

Maybe they're just tired democracy or maybe they like your opinion on social issues. As Nationalists and Wealthy, it's most probably going to be Foreign and Economic issues. I'm going to be generous here and say that 7% will fight to the death for you. That's 25,934 "soldiers"-- about 0.98% of the national population. The current military is three times stronger than your soldiers in numbers only. Even if you manage to get past them I'm pretty sure the other 96.02% of Corburn won't let you just walk right past them, even if you have tanks.

If you manage to dismantle the military and achieve a poll rating of about 40% a coup-d'état could be envisageable. Now, however, you're just asking for prison.

A102 states amendments as a form of legislation, which would basically include repeals. I think amendments should be directly voted on, though.

So that means no debating IC, I think we should just create a second IC Thread just for the Senate for debating acts and such, and just use the chamber for posting the acts and votes. If there is an amendment before the act is passed it shouldn't have to follow the proper format, that would only be for once the act is passed.
