Corburnians?
It's equipment? Both Legally bought equipment from somewhere (maybe corburn) and now also heavier equipment from the army.

This is terrible. In six IC months, the newly-established Republic becomes a monarchy. This game should rename itself "Royalty of the World". Everything is going to crumble.

But I'm here, laughing.

Also, I'd like to give a few statements:
A) ICly, none of you know of the arms.
Only those who were on the roads of Corburn or around it should know of the tanks.
B) I peacefully proposed a very limited monarchy. It was declined. I might've resigned everything else, rping as a peaceful monarch.....

The paramilitary is from corburnian (nationalists/Monarchists).

The most awesome thing is that Ark had to endure me explaining every step to him.
Asking about how loyal the army would be, and if they would heed the command to dismantle.
And he knew it the whole time. He knew it and had to watch. Sorry Ark, and yet thanks.

Also,I'm laughing too.
Laughing too much even.

Republics of the World [SEMI-OPEN] Discussion Thread: "The most realistic political simulator on nationstates."

Hey, I took no step against realism.
We were in shambles, demagogy got me voters.
I was made MoD, and Senators missed loopholes in my laws - allowing me to dismantle the national military and grab tanks. The only reason why I couldn't have couped from the beginning - as ark explained to me.
The remains of the army. And it was Winovia, of all people, who gave one of the last votes for the act.

There's a flaw with that idea. See clause 2 of L108:

2. Establishes restrictions on the Ministry of Defense, in turn;
2.1. Establishing restrictions on the military and any associated national defensive forces, which
2.1.1. Will act purely in the interests of the People of Corburn, and
2.1.2. Are reserved purely for defensive purposes;
2.2. Maintaining conduct of domestic forces, that
2.2.1. They will act purely in the interests of those whom they are ordered to act in interest of,
2.2.1.1. That therein those interests lie also the interests of the People of Corburn,
2.2.2. They will maintain orderly conduct;
2.3. Demanding responsibility on behalf of the Commander-in-Chief, Minister of Defense, and Minority Party, whereas
2.3.1. They are bound by all restrictions of those they command as defined here,
2.3.2. They maintain finite positions that,
2.3.2.1. The MoD serves a term of six years,
2.3.2.2. All other official concerned in this sub-clause serve a term of two years,
2.3.2.3. No official concerned in this sub-clause may request funds for their causes and
2.3.2.3.1. They may not provide any control over their salaries;
2.4. The Senate may take control over any of the concerned within this clause by two/thirds majority plus one, rounded down.

Not only are there restrictions on the military, but the MoD is bound by the Senate, and the minority party has control over the military should he Senate approve it.
Thus, the NCP can stop you for one thing, but they don't have to since all defense forces already have an obligation:
2.1. Establishing restrictions on the military and any associated national defensive forces, which
2.1.1. Will act purely in the interests of the People of Corburn, and
2.1.2. Are reserved purely for defensive purposes.

The MoD does not have the power to demand the military to attack Corburn.

I never will.
I would order my Paramilitary - using Army equipment from L112 - t do so.
The Jonathanian States wrote:3.2 Orders the members of the pre-corburnian armed forces and/or 'Military Communes' to hand their materials and equipments to the MoD officials who will be responsible for it, so it can be used for a new Unified Army.

The relevant part of L112.
Winovia, I really didn't pay attention to the wording of Military communes.
NWO, that was why I took my own slightly edited MoD act, without your addition.

I placed in a different Clause 2 - the part you quote has never been in the bill.
And hell, even prospect voted for my version.

EDIT:
Great, you have outlawed a group owning tanks.
In the center of the capital, in the Political District.
I really would recommend against voting in its favor.
