"What I think?................ Aha- ahahahahahahahahahahaha................" Repeated Kushiro, before bursting into uncontrolled laughter, not of insanity like many times before, but something else entirely new to him. He was laughing hard enough, that salty tears have begun to form around the edges of his eyes.

"......... You can say that I'm into "goth" subject (Actually Vampire Related things.), I mean, I still have to find my father (So I can kill him, but not before I gut him where ever he is.)...... He's the whole reason I "lived" (If you mean something that's an actual freak compared to the students here, yes.) for so long. I really don't care about living, the only thing I care about, is having fun? Every time I do, it helps me forget the things I've been through, what's been lost......." Thoughtlessly answered Kushiro, not refraining from letting somethings from the past slip out.

"My father left me years ago to fight in the war. He's been dead a long time. Your father, he helped you survive? You're much luckier than i am. My mother has raised, or maybe the better way to put it would be, my mother hasn't raised me," Cynthia said before realizing how bitter she really was. She was more wrathful then she should have been.

"My mother rarely speaks. She leaves me alone most of time, so I spend time studying and stuff. Fun is good though and healthy. I usually end up stuck in my house, but occasionally I do something, or meet someone new. I just feel as if the world is still predatory and unnaturally harsh to people like us. My mother and I are in near poverty without Dad around. She has lost her spirit, and I have grown up without anyone to really talk to. Sorry, you probably don't want to here this. I guess I was just venting," apologized Cynthia with a weak smile for a moment before frowning again.

"Hmmmmm.............. I think you have it easier, don't downgrade yourself so easily, not when there's still plenty of things to do... As for my parents, my father, never knew the man. The only thing he left me is a drive, but other than that, he had me with my mother then left us, basically just trash that needs to die....... Mother in the other hand, she placed me in an orphanage after I was born, and it was only two years ago that I first met her. My mother never loved me, she only implanted more questions in my head." Told Kushiro, recalling the events two years ago, a cruel smirk on his face as he did so.

"Now, she's just a corpse rotting in a coffin..... Serves her right. In the records, I no longer have any living relative, so I'm all alone. You know, not long ago, I was in the service of a militia from the ages 10-14? That's what I did until they found my mother........ The militia's gone to, the government shut it down and replaced it with the Defense-Force, that was the final thing from life that I was connected to. So yeah, I think you're more fortunate than I." Added Kushiro, sighing at the end of his small story, before smiling again.

"At least your power doesn't include the use of your own blood."

She then looked back to him, and bent town to his level, and put her hands on his shoulders "This, body, these things, they arn't what makes you." she with drew one of her hands, and put it to his chest. You will do wonderful things Wil," she smiled as she said those words, and her smile grew, "alright?"

"Really?................ Wonderful things?" Questioned William, who had seemed to have gotten more frustrated, his whole now body shaking out anger.

"They said that about Dad too........ Everyone in the family says he was a nice man....... That he would never hurt a fly unless necessary............... But what "wonderful" thing did he do, hmm? Because the only thing I recall he ever did was die on us!" Shouted William, his head low, tears streaming from his eyes.

"If he was so good, how come he died?........................ Good people aren't suppose to die!"

"Wil," Terra said still in her calm yet solem tone, she with drew her had from his chest while still having one on his shoulder. Stanley opened his mouth to explain, but then decided it would be better to show him. He put his hand out, palm facing the ceiling, and around him the air got much cooler. In his hand a small ball of ice formed quickly, not a perfect sphere, but still roughly spherical.

"Cryokenisis, plus I can manipulate air around me... So what can you do?" Stanley inquired, chucking the ice ball into a nearby bin.

If she felt like talking about it then Rose would see if she could help her.

She was smiling a bit larger then she cautiously should be. "If the sensi hadn't stopped the battle I might have taken on the last of them!"

She definitely seems different, Rose inwardly shrugged, perhaps her powers made her more aggressive when she used them. "Though I wouldn't celabrate too soon. Im fairly sure that wont be the only test you'll have to go through..." Rose suggested from her experience with the school "I doubt they will be keeping the kids gloves on... Unbeknownst to the two, a car was parked across from them, about five meters away, it's tinted windows hiding the person watching. After continuing to watch the family, a woman with shoulder-length purplish hair and glasses got out of the car, walking towards them. It was Takashi's twin sister, Eiko, who usually watched William from afar when he's not with his mother or in school.

"Kon'nichiwa Terra, William-kun." Greeted Eiko, smiling at them, with her hands behind her back. She was wearing a white t-shirt, with a striped red and black, knee-length skirt, along with a pair of brown boots.

William, who was hugging his mother tightly, slowly looked up, seeing his aunt. But his focus quickly shifted the thing he saw in the corner of his eye, but when he looked directly, it had disappeared...... It looked like a figure with Royal Blue Hair.

"You can say that........... It was nice meeting you Cynthia, but I have to leave......... I've got to talk to someone, farewell." Suddenly said Kushiro, noticing the Katana wielding Teacher was walking onto the arena below, as the final candidate finished their test.

Damn, I was distracted! I need to have a little chat with that Myra Krenshaw, perhaps she has something. After all, there's not a single vampire in this area that's unaligned. I have to hurry before she meets up with anybody else.

"I hope you have a wonderful day." Added Kushiro, before standing up and walking down the stands, disappearing once got down.

Myra nods, "I don't know what they have planned, but if it's anything like this I'll handle it." she thought a bit as they walked down the hall, she had no idea that it would be Rika, not Hisako, who judged her performance, Myra hadn't actually given much attention to the others. Prior to the match, her only concern was to awe. She had craved the crowd, yet, as the match progressed her concern became that of survival, her focus, was victorious domination. After the battle she had at first had to handle an inner... horror. She had gave the other candidates a dare filled glare, the metalic, and red still having effect upon her. In the nurses office, she had calmed, and now, walking back, she was interested in how the others had been doing. Myra continued her glade tone, asking; "How are the others doing?"

What an odd person. He didn't tell my much, but he was friendly. I forgot his name already though. It started with a "H"... Err, I guess it doesn't matte, I probably will not see him again. It looks like I may have missed the other students. Oh well, I guess I wasn't really too interested in the fight anyway.

Cynthia got up from her seat and glanced at the time. It would be time to return to class in several minutes. She might as well depart already. There was no point in wasting anymore time. There was probably something productive she could have been doing, but she wasn't really focusing too well and felt rather absent minded. She just needed to return to the room. She could focus better there.

Shortly after the dark red haired woman asked her question a heavy breathing young man whom appeared to be at the age of twelve fell out of the sky and landed on his knees covered by nothing but jean fabric. His falcon wings twitching in focused fatigue trying to press on and continue flying as he wasn't sure if he was at the academy. "Gah, too tired to go on..." He said to himself as he fell backwards on his wings on the hardened floor of the outside world and noticed a group of people nearby at the edge of his vision staring at him.

"Need to keep going..." he soon said again before spinning himself around on the ground and his arms twitched as he tried to get back up.

Terra was stunned, taking a step back she wasn't sure if she should bow, help, or- her body was froze in uncertainty, one hand close to her mouth, and another upon William, her eyes were wide with some sense of fear as she started to shake a bit.

"Nope, not getting back up...going down again" Nico whimpered as he soon plopped face down on the concrete and the metal guard of his katana smacked the back of his blonde hair covered head. 'Go find the Academy she said, You'll get some training she said, If you need help someone will help you she said, none of that happened yet along with the fact that I'm hungry and I am tired...' He thought to himself as he turned around again. The sky above him looked so serene and splattered with pure white clouds that reminded him of the dove wings of his mother.

He opened his mouth and yawned, showing his sharp canine teeth in a pale yellow tint. His breathing felt heavy, knowing that he spent his fifteen minutes in the sky yet he decided to push forward and didn't like not being able to fly as long as his mother did.

Terra had stopped shaking, and exhaled deeply. She hadn't realized the bits of sweat that had started to comedown her face. She was releaved. She gently let go of William, took another breath, and looked over at Eiko before looking back at the boy who sputtered upon the ground. In haling, and exhale once with her eyes closed she, approached. She thought she was over it, yet as she moved forward, her neck began to get an odd sensation, as if hands had been pressed upon the back of her neck. Like some unseen pressure was upon it. she was comfortable with this. She started to feel some odd emptiness inside her, as if she where in need of sustenance. She had paused trying to settle her mind, she started to worry about what William may be thinking. "Eh..." she inhaled again, not sure how to continuing. She felt, empty, and it seemed to her that she was burning beneath her skin. She slowly let out this whimpering sound, the kind some deprived puppy would make as she frowned, looking slightly towards, and away from the lad upon the ground..

The woman's soul, a round shape like most souls appeared to be shrinking in size indicating that she was fearful probably of him and made a whimpering sound, much like a puppy dissatisfied of what she discovered. "Um hi there would you mind if you could help me up?" he inquired, twitching to somehow get back on his two feet and find the Academy so he could attend classes.

Terra looked at him with a worried look, as she slowly brought her hand from her chest, where it had been moved as she had looked aside from him, towards him. She seemed to be getting more comfortable, though she shook a bit, only slightly so. The feeling inside was somewhat diminishing, yet, still remained. She, didn't even feel it was her moving. Thus was her nature to help. Her spirit it seemed, was still retreating. The small hairs of her body seemed to stand, to thicken, and her ears began to move upward. Her eyes were an odd turquoise, as her hand came close to him. She, tried to fringe a smile, which only seemed to make what ever was happening more obvious as it revealed a canine tooth; "I, help, can?" she smiled at the oddness of her words.

"Thank you" Nico said with a polite smile and let his hand touch hers, giving her a tiny static shock before letting it subside then pushed himself off the ground but landed clumsily back on his feet. It was obvious that the woman was scared but he was glad that she wasn't scared enough to not help him and plain go about her day. "I don't know if I am asking too much of you but do you happen to know where I could find a Kyoto Guardian Academy?" He inquired, looking at the woman's strange turquoise eyes and found the pair of eyes wider than dinner plates at the local diner when he lived in Virginia.

William and Eiko
"Ma-.......... Mama, is something wrong?" Asked William with concern, seeing the minor changes of details in Terra's features, his eyes glued to Terra's. On the other hand, Eiko was locked on the boy, having already dialed the emergency number for the Containment unit of the NJSDF.

Tenshi? Thought Eiko, as spiritual energy gathered in her left hands, which eventually formed a bow. According the laws of Japan, a citizen was able to use their powers against any perceived super threat, to prevent them from leaving the area, while the NJSDF forces secure a perimeter.

"Terra, I want you to back away from the boy, take William with you. He's an unidentified super, so he needs to detained by Japan, he could be planning to attack the Academy. Remember, you aren't suppose to trust any supers that aren't registered in the system." Warned Eiko, having already pulled the quiver of her bow, an arrow already formed, ready to be released.

In the distance, the sound of helicopter rotors can heard, but remain yet to be seen. Faintly heard in the background, was the sound of boots running, as the Special Forces of NJSDF rapidly closed to heir location. They were only several seconds away.

"Now, if you don't want to get blasted as soon as the NJSDF comes here, I suggest you answer these questions. Where are you from? What is your name? Have you ever lived in Japan? How long? Why did you leave?" Asked Eiko in a commanding voice, knowing that should the boy attack, she would given permission to defend herself for defense. But, before the boy could answer, the special forces soldiers bursted from the background, quickly surrounding Nico, their guns raised.

"Where are you from? What is your name? Have you ever lived in Japan? How long? Why did you leave?" Asked the same set of questions by the commanding officer.

Hisako
Seeing some of the students begin to leave the arena, she tapped her sheathed Katana hardly down on the concrete floor, creating an attention grabbing tap. Having stopped most of them, Hisako cleared her throat.

"Everyone who dares get out of this room or doesn't return in the next 60 seconds, will be given punishment of a training course from you nightmares!" Threatened Hisako, tying to get as many people to stay, before continuing her announcement. "With permission from the principal and the student council president, any student who wish to train on the robots that the candidates fought with, can miss the rest of their class."

The news of the training, caused a ripple of murmurs to appear across the student body, as they excitedly chatted about missing classes. The only one who seemed the be displeased about it was the 3-A teacher, Mr. Pavel, a scowl on his old face.

Terra

Tears began running down Terra's face as she looked into Williams eyes while backing away, stopping her self as the NJSDF officer spoke, her eyes where green now. She looked away with a face of worry, and concern.

Supers who want to use their powers must have a license or risk being detained if used in public....

She looked at her hands, which had already started to develop claws, she closed her hands causing her claws to dig into her flesh as she gritted her teeth, angry at her self. She slumped upon her knees to the ground where still clinching her fists chin high she let out what should have been a scream, but was more of a roar. She put her fists to her face as she began to weep in a deep, animal like breathing. She couldn't change, and she couldn't remain. She wasn't angry at the boy, she wasn't angry at Eiko, and she wasn't angry with the forces around her. Her pain, was an inward pain, of which she had never resolved.

"Wait wh...at?" Nico said as he heard the helicopters rolled in and the special forces of the NJSDF appeared with their weapons drawn then his eyes grew wider than dinner plates as the commander spat out questions at him. He looked around to see them pointing their firearms at him along with the woman who drew an ethereal looking bow and the red haired woman gritting her teeth then started to transform with her limbs on the ground. Claws were forming on the woman's hands and that made him want to start flying but he didn't want the risk of getting shot.

Tears starting to well up in his eyes he wasn't sure what to do, he suddenly forgot what to say when asked this many questions and the probability of getting shot was high without giving them answers. "I do-n kn-ow wh-at to say" he responded as visible sparks of electricity started to form around him and the transforming Terra then made a loud cackling sound of thunder, none of which he could control. He was just as scared as the woman he stood next to and he hated the idea of the law against having any permits to use a specific power, Nico always had wings from the day of his birth but never knew of the need to have a permit for that.

Still wearing his bag pack, his face was covered by his jumper's hood. In his left front pocket his rather worn MP5 player sat, connected to long ear phones he had put on. British Pop. He liked it, the lead singer was actually a metahuman, though is powers didn't involve sound manipulation but enhanced agility. Apparently this helped him on stage when it came to dancing.

The sound of the music helped block the sounds of cars speeding, people talking, dogs barking and pretty much helped him detach himself from everything around him. Just about everything did seek to hurt him which in turn made him afraid of just about everything. He didn't belong in that school...perhaps he didn't belong anywhere. Sadness and self dejection dominated his mood as he came by a bridge and stared at his reflection.

His parents must have hated him to send him away like this. He didn't want any part in going to a special school, he didn't even want his 'power', he just wished for the world to leave him alone. The Order was long dead, but if they were alive would they have considered him an 'abhuman'?
He didn't want to be that.

But...do I want to be normal then?

No you don't, if you become normal you'll stop being special, you'll be boring and no one will pay attention or care about you.

But..I don't want this.

Yes you do, admit it. You like feeling special, as if you're important and have some kind of purpose with what you can do. If you were normal you'd be a nobody.

Then what should I do?! I don't like this, but I don't want to become another nobody.

Then you must Learn.

The voice initially frightened Max, its tone was different from when he spoke to himself in his thoughts. His breathing increased heavily.

Who..who are you?

Do not fear me Child, for I am no more than another Shade of one of your Ancestors that regularly arise from your subconscious, a manifestation of their memories and experiences into the living being they once were before their souls were reaped and passed on beyond this plane. You may call be Teacher.

What..what do you want from me?

You are troubled with what you posses. I am here to teach you what you have is not a curse but a gift.

How can you help me when no one else can?

Because I, like you, possessed the same gift in my own life time. And I mastered it, controlled it. I can train you to do the same.

You will...help me?

A single tear of joy and perhaps relief flowed from his right eye.

But first Child, you must return to School.

They don't want me.

Regardless, you will need to make use of their resources for your training to begin.

Like...gym?

That is included, Yes.

But I'll get in trouble if I go back now.

Then you must Learn to face your trouble in the eyes, it is the only way you can Conquer it.

William and Eiko
"Wha-.... Wha-..... Wha-........." Stuttered William, as he took steps backs, into Eiko, his eyes wide with terror. The whole time, William had thought that his mother was "normal", except for some odd things she did. But he had never thought that she was a super, with the truth in front of him, all William could do was continue staring.

"William, don't look!" Said Eiko, as she turned his head to her body, blocking the view of Terra's transformation. Meanwhile, the commander was feeling slightly stressed at the moment, as he has to deal with two targets, instead of one.

"Knock the ones with wings out, make sure to activate the electrical nullifier, even then, approach with caution. You!" Ordered the Commander, before addressing Eiko, who had just continued to keep an eye on Terra.

"Hai?" Answered Eiko, holding William closer to her body, fearing for the mental status of the young boy. She had read a few of the psychology books in the library she now owns, all of the situations and what could cause them.

"Do you know who that woman is?" Inquired the Commander, keeping hes commanding tone, but the eyes said pity towards the blue-haired kid.

"Yes, she's my sister-in-law.......... It's best that none of you try hurt her........ Other than that, I have nothing else to say......... I think the best action would be to call Hiro Tamaru, he's her cousin-in-law." Obediently said Eiko, wanting to help all the sides here.

"Hiro Tamaru?!........... What about the boy with the wings? Do you know what he wanted?" Continued to interrogate the Commander, out in the corner of his eye, he saw one of the soldier's in a Type 2 Exosuit approach the winged boy.

"Something about the Academy for Supers in Kyoto............ Please, try to have her talk to Hiro...... She might calm down...... Might." Advised Eiko, backing away from Terra, giving him her phone.

"Okay, but I'm going to have the school and surrounding area evacuated, especially if this girl here is the patient of Hiro Tamaru years ago." Said the Commander with a small nod, as he gave the signal to three other soldiers to start the evacuating, while calling Hiro.

"Moshi Mosh?" Answered Hiro on the phone, his voice sounding tired, while the commander held it to Terra's ears.

Meanwhile, the soldier approaching Nico gave a rifle butt strong enough to knock him out.

Nico's face was flooded with tears of fear for punishment because of his inability to explain what he was there to do and suddenly the flow of tears stopped as his body hit the floor then the katana strapped to his back smacked the back of his head. His wings concealing the sword and face on the side of the pavement and he silently hoped that his sisters would be alright setting up in the house their parents lived in but never got around to selling.

Terra
Terra had remained on the ground weeping, her fists to her face with some blood coming from her hands as her claws had dug in. How was she to approach William now? Who was she going to ever be trusted again? Why did 'he' come? With that last thought, she had started the transformation on it's course, all she needed was someone to blame, But she wasn't truly made at him, he was just in the wrong place, at the wrong time, or was it her who shouldn't have come, but who else? What had brought Eiko; "Helllp.. meem me." she said between breaths, her eyes now open to a hazel as her eyes became set upon the path of yellow. Her weeping, interfering with her breath, she released her fists, and though she tried to breath, it became difficult, what ever was happening to her body, was hampering it. As if, as if suffocating her self from with in. Her breaths were becoming troubled, and came in near shiver like inhales. The abnormal breath triggered a yawn like release that ended with Terra falling to the ground from her knees to her face. Her body began to make sick heavings as she upchucked black bile, however, unconscious, and upon her face; the substance was finding no release, blocking what ever bit remained of her air ways. Her body continued to fight the choking, but in her current position the efforts where useless, and sickening as the dark bile ran out her noise onto the soil.

As he nervously tried to find his way back to the academy, pondering over how badly he'd be punished, he came across a rapidly growing crowd, surrounding someone.

What's this?

He approached closer, carefully sliding between other people, getting as close to the front as he could before he saw...it.

The sight of the Beast ran a cold sweat sown his spine, his jaw hung open from shock and he could feel his hands trembling. If Hua's strange teeth made him anxious, this was 100 times for terrifying. This Beast had claws, sharp teeth made to kill, but those eyes...

They were..sad. No, more than sad, their spirit was broken. The Beast or whatever it was, it was in pain. Max felt a strange sense of fear and pity.

Is it choking? What's that black ooze coming out of her? It hurt just looking at it. But it needed help.

''It...it needs help'' he muttered. ''Somebody please help it!'' he yelled. How could they all just standby and watch?

First aid... He could try to request the knowledge to stop it from dying out here like this. Closing his eyes he focused on what he was trying to find, his mind processing the memories of his ancestors until one with a relevant experience could be found.

............

1. Roll the person onto the back on a hard surface, keeping the back in a straight line while firmly supporting the head and neck. Expose the person's chest.

2. Open the person's mouth with your thumb and index finger, placing your thumb over the tongue and your index finger under the chin. If the object is visible and loose, remove it. Sweep two fingers from one side of the throat to the other to attempt to remove the object.

3. Lift the person's chin while tilting the head back to move the tongue away from the windpipe.

4. Place your ear close to the person's mouth and watch for chest movement. For 5 seconds look, listen, and feel for breathing.

5. If the person is breathing, give first aid for unconsciousness.

6. If the person is not breathing, begin rescue breathing. Maintain the head position, close the person's nostrils by pinching them with your thumb and index finger, and cover the person's mouth tightly with your mouth. Give two slow, full breaths with a pause in between.

7. If the person's chest does not rise, reposition the head and give two more breaths.

8. Open the person's mouth with your thumb and index finger. If the object is visible and loose, remove it.

9. If the object is removed, but the person has no pulse, begin CPR with chest compressions. If no object is visible, begin CPR.

10. If the person starts having convulsions or seizures, give first aid for this problem.

But he was just a kid, the police wouldn't let him get any closer enough, even if he told them he might know what to do to save it. He partially happy his attempt at finding a solution worked, but now felt frustrated at how helplessly he had to stand and wait, wait for who knows how long before the real ambulance would arrive.

''It needs to be moved into the recovery position!'' he yelled. ''Someone please do something, it will choke on its own vomit otherwise!''

If only he could get through. He couldn't just stand and watch someone or something in front of him knowing he could have saved it.

I can't stand here...

But I'm afraid....

If I do nothing, do I let it die?

Does that make me a murderer?

But if I try to help...it could attack him...

He struggled to get himself out of this bind between taking a risk or saving his own skin.

Go.

Ignoring all instincts telling him otherwise, his eyes narrowed and he rushed forth, running past the others he was now just a few steps away from the Beast. Taking slower steps as he approached it, he recalled what he needed to do. Bending down beside it, he pulled against it, trying to roll it into the recovery position.

He groaned heavily from the physical strain of doing this until finally the parahuman creature was lying against its back. Picturing the recovery position he rearranged the way it was lying to match the position. Then he began to apply what knowledge he had gathered, hoping it would be anatomically correct enough to work on the Beast.

After a few minutes with most of the steps out of the way, sweat was pouring heavily from his face. He wondered if he wet himself out of the sheer backbiting fear of what he was doing. Though he glad to know it was still breathing.
The air passage had to be cleared.
With both hands he pushed hard against the animal's chest, hoping it wouldn't snap back to life immediately and pounce on him.

Come on...please come on...

The black liquid was coughed out of its mouth.

After pushing about twenty seven times, he somewhat hesitantly bent his head its mouth.

Please...don't die..or bite.

The respiratory system needed to jump start. Breathing in heavily, he exhaled into the creature's trachea.
