Where are you?

Also, G-Tech, you should add our two newest members to the map.

Also, G-Tech, you should add our two newest members to the map.

Curonia, Courland, Latvia. Whichever name you prefer. We're nomadic horsemen, though, and once I have the time, will be steadily migrating south.
Where must we go, we who wander this wasteland, in search for our better selves?
In Egypt's sandy silence, all alone,
Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws
The only shadow that the Desert knows:—
"I am great OZYMANDIAS," saith the stone,
"The King of Kings; this mighty City shows
"The wonders of my hand." The City's gone,
Nought but the Leg remaining to disclose
The site of this forgotten Babylon.

We wonder, and some Hunter may express
Wonder like ours, when thro' the wilderness
Where London stood, holding the Wolf in chace,
He meets some fragment huge, and stops to guess
What powerful but unrecorded race
Once dwelt in that annihilated place.

W00t! Iron. Apparently the Philippines are pretty rich in iron, so that's good.

Hm, I just read about something called the Bronze Age Collapse. Very interesting.

Also, considering the fact that the people in Europe are interacting a lot more with the people in the Near East than in real life, I'd say iron could be introduced to Europe much sooner. IRL iron was introduced to Europe ~1000 BC, but I'd say we could do it around the same time as everybody else. Although, most iron will still be mined in Anatolia, Persia, Crete, Greece, and Britain.

Good luck trying to make that into proper wrought iron and not shitty pig iron, or better yet, good luck getting that out of the ores.

The silk trade to boom in the Iron Age. But I now realize that it is far too long for me to wait that out. :lol2:

APP:
Name of Civilization: Tuati
Location: Rwanda, Burundi, encompasses all of lake Edward, lake kivu and parts of lake Tanganyika, they also border lake Victoria.
Specialty (warfare, farming, trade, etc.): farming
Nomad or Settled: Settled
If Nomad trader or raider:
History: Hundred years ago a group of Kashibians who did not want to be part of Aegyptus Maiora, after tKashibana was annexed, left their homeland and headed down south, following the Nile river (#Throwback Thursday). They eventually it made it to the area known as Rwanda, they established a city at the banks of Lake Tanganyika (Present day Bujumbura). After building their city they began to improve their technology as well as engulfing the natives in their culture. They soon dominated the region after defeating rival kingdoms and continued to build cites and paths that connected them. Under King Rwas II the small kingdom expanded into the lake Victoria region and since then they have not expanded.

Culture?: Mixture of Egyptians, Mediterranean European and the Hutu/Tutsi/Twa people. The Kashibians came to the region bringing their own customs however eventually they began to mix with the local populace, this brought a massive change in society, were their old language was replaced by a mixture of the native languages and the the Kashibian one. Religion was not as affected other than a few extra gods. The Tuati are well developed for being isolated from the world.

Will there be any monotheistic/analogous-to-abrahamic faiths at all?
Where must we go, we who wander this wasteland, in search for our better selves?

Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws
The only shadow that the Desert knows:—

DOWN WITH THE ECUMENICAL PATRIARCH OF SPARTH!

You know that, if the schism doesn't happen, it would just be Christianity, right?
