Oh, then your welcome here.
The reason I remember is because I'm a Walking Dead fanatic. I've got all the comics, watch every episode of the series, and play the game Telltale makes. So things I here related to TWD tend to stick in my mind.
So, yeah, I love Lauren Cohan. I hope she doesn't die anytime soon.
I'm always interested in what people think about her as an actor or a celebrity, which is always positive, considering she's always so down to earth around family

NAME: Alasdair Carrick
AGE: 23
NATIONALITY: Scottish, British
RACE: Caucasian
SKILLS: Strong and quick, an athletic character. While somewhat logical when it comes to solving problems, his main advantage is in his physicality.
WEAPONRY: Switchblade, carving knife, lead pipe
VEHICLE: None
BIOGRAPHY: Born in Barras, Glasgow, Alasdair lived his younger life on the edge of the area's numerous social problems. While bright, any chance of an educated schooling were lost as gang violence consumed his secondary. Though he avoided much of the drug trade that took so many of his schoolmates, the gangs were unavoidable as Alasdair soon came accustomed to involvement in their constant warfare. Each fight taught him one new skill of the street, while stealing him of the teaching of another academic skill. As such, his standards fell victim to the same disease as the others of his school - A still reasonable group of Cs and Bs were a sign of potential lost, as he began to seek work in the area.
Such work only came in the form of those jobs that are not reliable nor able to provide a substantial income. From fast food chains to arcades and cleaning, Alasdair eventually found himself of use as a spare hand in the local steelworks. This was enough for him to leave home, sharing a council flat with two mates. However, the economic recession began to hit hard as austerity sucked at his minimal income and they could no longer afford the flat. Crushed under loans, he asked his parents to move back in but they denied his request. Eventually, having been forced to declare bankruptcy, Alasdair took what little he had to seek a new life in the US.
Upon arrival, he found a job as a bouncer in New York. It was in this possession that he acquired a small number of confiscated weapons. When the apocalypse struck, he had found his own defences and fled from the city with what little he could scavenge. Hunting, both in the traditional sense of the term and through abandoned homes, he managed to find enough sustenance as he headed without direction. Through what might have appeared to be a series of miracles or just good luck, he made his way to Tennessee - Where his struggle for survival would take a new path.

Is that Tom Cruise? I don't know. I don't usually use pictures. I literally just typed in my appearance into google and this is what I got. Think longer hair and more rugged, with various scars and stubble. Also, 6'2"

It creates a plethora of problems later down the road, particularly when you end up at loggerheads with another RPer's character. RPer's that use these wish-fulfillment characters tend to take things personally, as a criticism of the character can be interpreted very easily as a criticism of the person upon whom the character was based. Please, nip it in the bud, and don't base your character off of yourself or your loved ones.

I'll defer to Tilt on this one.

Ah, I skimmed over that apparently.
Alasdair's based off me, and he'll mostly take the action's I'd take, but he's not me. I'm not going to use him as wish-fulfilment, I won't take personal offense to criticism and I can accept anything that happens to him. I know the difference between IC and OOC, and I'll keep that divide there.

Like I said, I'd like to hear from Tilt first.

Also, Camicon, the HAM radio's battery would likely be dead had it been left on that long (which is weird that it was left that way since no one would even be monitoring it) Removing it from the drawer and carrying it around would especially not work because you'd have to unhook it from the power supply AND antenna in order to move it any decent distance. Which would disable it. If it were a handheld, still, the battery would likely die by now and it wouldn't have the range to reach Cookeville. Not without a repeater/relay anyway.
