Cookeville is solidly in the interior of TN. It wouldn't be the first town you come across after coming out of the Appalachia's.
I'm glad you put yourself there in one post, mind you, but I want to make sure you have the details of the place.

Not coming out of the Appalachia's, just some random mountain area. According to a tourist website regarding Cookeville, the city has some mountains around it.

Cookeville doesn't have any mountains around it. Tennessee has the Appalachia's encroaching on its eastern side, and Crossville is nestled in their foothills, but Cookeville is not in a mountainous region. There are hills, ridges, and some low-lying valleys, but not out-and-out mountains.

There are a couple state parks and such, though the hills around Cookeville are relatively bare. There are trees, but it's not exactly a dense forest.

A few trees and some state hunting grounds will do, I'll edit it. Please continue on despite this.

Guys, if you could just drag Anna along until the group comes back to the compound that'd be great.

NAME: ALEX BRIGHTON.
AGE: UNKNOWN. HE IS MOST LIKELY LATE-TWENTIES TO EARLY-THIRTIES.
NATIONALITY: BRITISH.
RACE: CAUCASIAN.
SKILLS: AS HE USED TO BE A FIREFIGHTER, ALEX IS RATHER GOOD AT SCAVENGING, KNOWS FIRST AID, AND IS INCREDIBLY FIT.
WEAPONRY: FROM WHAT HE, SARA AND LOUISE HAD TOGETHER AND WHAT THEY HAD GAINED IN THE PAST MONTH, HE HAS ACCUMULATED:
1x PARA ORDNANCE P14 (ALREADY HAD)
2x M9 BERETTA (ALREADY HAD)
1x M4A1 (ACQUIRED)
1x MOSSBERG 500 (ALREADY HAD)
1x ARMEX TITAN COMPOUND CROSSBOW (ACQUIRED)
SEVERAL KNIVES, A MACHETE, AN ALUMINUM BASEBALL BAT AND A MAKESHIFT SPEAR. (ALL ACQUIRED)
ALL WEAPONS HAVE A SMALL AMOUNT AMMUNITION (ABOUT 1 CLIP FOR EACH AND 5 BOLTS), HOWEVER ARE UNRELIABLE AND ARE PRONE TO JAMMING AND NEED TO BE CLEANED/REPAIRED.
VEHICLE: NONE. HE IS CURRENTLY IN THE MIDDLE OF TRYING TO PROCURE SEVERAL PARTS AND REPAIR ONE.
BIOGRAPHY: FROM THE POINT THAT THE GROUP LEFT TO GO TO SHELDON'S COMPOUND, ALEX, SARA AND LOUISE LEFT ON THEIR OWN. AFTER FINDING A MAP AND PHONE BOOK, THEY MARKED OFF GUN SHOPS, CAMPING SHOPS, HARDWARE STORES AND MALLS TO GET SUPPLIES AND FORTIFY A SMALL HOUSE. AFTER RELATIVE SUCCESS, THEY HEADED TO A NEARBY HOSPITAL TO GET MEDICAL SUPPLIES AND A PROSTHETIC ARM FOR ALEX. DURING THIS TIME, THEY CAME ACROSS A MADDENED DOCTOR THAT KILLED SARA AND SEVERELY INJURED LOUISE, RESULTING IN ALEX KILLING THE DOCTOR AND HAVING TO MERCY KILL LOUISE. ALEX HIMSELF BECAME MADDENED AND IS NOW HOLED UP IN A SMALL HOUSE, PLANNING HIS ULTIMATE REVENGE FOR HIS PEOPLE'S DEATHS.
APPEARANCE: ALEX STANDS AT ROUGHLY SIX FEET TALL, RELATIVELY ATHLETIC BUT MALNOURISHED. HE HAS BLUE EYES, AND MEDIUM LENGTH WAVY BROWN HAIR WITH A SCRUFFY BEARD. WEARS A PROSTHETIC ARM. HE LOOKS, AND SMELLS, QUITE DIRTY.

With the two role-plays I'm currently in being a little slow at the moment, I thought I'd return back to this. I tried to make the weapons as even as possible with their disadvantages, but if there's anything you want me to take away or change completely, that's fine. I'm hoping for him to come across a group from the compound and them trying to help him get a grip on reality. Or he can try to kill someone again - we can see how they react to him.

Hey, welcome back.

We never did get around to killing him off (at least not explicitly that I'm aware of) so you can soft-play him as having been with the group the whole way, if you want, so he'd already be at the Compound. Whichever set-up is easier for your re-introduction. *nods*

That reminds me...Cy, were you going to timeskip, or should I just post?

Thanks - but I don't think Sheldon would have let him anywhere near the Compound. I mean, he barely got on board the plane because people stuck up for him. Character wise, I think it would be better if he went away with Sara, found Louise, and then lost them both.

I just think it's the right path.

I'm going to guess that even though Sheldon's Compound has quite a lot of food, his group has pretty much ransacked most of the convenience stores?
