- One of the enchantments in the sword involves the ability to exorcise lesser spirits when they manifest.
- The other enchantment on the sword prevents it from being used by anyone besides Hua. The enchantment recognizes spiritual aura to differentiate.

Bio: Hua was raised by her older brother in a modest town of about a thousand. Together, they both did odd jobs for the villagers in order to continue living in the local inn. When her brother discovered his ability as a spellsword, he left her the last of his savings and went to make a name for himself. Though he promised to write and send her money the letters eventually stopped coming, and her brothers condition became unknown. After working long enough, Hua discovered her abilities as a spellsword when she managed to stop a thief at the inn she stayed at. Recognizing this, the innkeepers managed to help Hua into attending the College of Mages.
Personality: Due to her upbringing, Hua appreciates the little things in life and it doesn't take much to impress her. She is fairly curious and eager to learn from others.
Faults: Hua can be brutally honest at times and very blunt...even to her friends. Not only that, but her constant confused facial expression makes it difficult to read her mood.
Anything else of note: Despite her ability as a spellsword, Hua despises almost all others mages with the exception of Paladins. She see's Paladins as keepers of order and other mages as being more in tune with causing disorder and death.
