Inaugural Address
Captain Julana Acturus, Hand of Erwin
Capital Building, Mull Primus
Two Months Ago

“… We stand here at the dawn of a new era. Those other planets, those nations and races that tore the old empire asunder, let them fight over the bones of the Lazax like the scavengers they are. Our destiny lies not with the back upon the Passage of Tears, but in this new sector. Never again shall we bow their knee to Mecatol Rex. We stand now as a unified and free people. Together we will complete Erwin Mentek’s vision of a strong, respected nation. Together we will conquer the stars.”

The Ten
Captain’s Table Strategy Meeting
Capital Building, Mull Primus
One Month Ago

“These new pirates, the Dark Eldar as they call themselves, are becoming a serious hazard to both our Hope’s End shipping and resupply fleets. Their ships are too powerful for the transports to handle on their own. They need the protection of real warships, of Cruisers.” Capt. Haarlock advanced, his mane rustling as he leaned forward for emphasis.

“I agree they need protection,” Capt. Armengarde replied, “But we’ll never get the other captains to go along with it, not for long enough. These Eldar attack without warning anywhere from interstellar space to the middle of our very systems.”

“The destroyer commanders, however, should prove more than willing to dance to our tune.” Capt. Falk suggested, “Six destroyers per convoy should be enough to hold off the raids of opportunity and force them into an engaged battle.”

“Destroyers can’t stand against their larger ships,” Capt. Haarlock protested, “they’ll be torn apart. We need cruisers.”

“Our cruisers are need for exploration.” Capt. Drub butted in, the fluid in his tank washing around as he gestured. “We still don’t know what we’re up against out here.”

The conversation degenerated in an all points argument. At the head of the table, Capt. Julana Acturs continued to listen, pulling out particular arguments and justifications from the multi-faceted conversation as she did.

“Hold.” Capt. Acturus called out in, bringing the conversation to a halt. “The destroyers will be deployed as the first line of defense. If we also increase the Prize for confirmed Eldar kills by 25%, that should keep enough Captains in the area to ensure a cruiser or two can respond when an attack actually occurs. Lastly, Drub has a good idea there with the Q ships. Let’s push for doubling the number in the merchant fleet. It might just be enough to make them think twice before launching an attack.”

Julana looked slowly around the table, as did most of the other captains, each looking to see if the any would object strongly enough to the compromise to push against the elected Hand. After a few moments it became clear there wasn’t going to be an objection to this one.

“Alright, we’re agreed.” Capt. Kar finally stated. “Let us work out the details and get the funding demands kicked down to the Senate.” There was a general murmur of agreement, and each of the Ten fired off to their secretaries their own parameters for the required proposals. An hour later, the final Resolution was passed down to the necessary sub-committees and spread over the net to the fleet’s Captains and commanders.

“Captain on Deck!” the NCO called out as Jamieson walked out onto the Voyager’s compact bridge. He maneuvered his way behind the myriad of control stations and up to the Captian’s chair. Once settled in, he turned to his left and called an acknowledgement to the Sensor station, who’s discovery had gotten him up here in the first place.

“New contact, sir.” The sailor responded, “Ran the crosschecks, it’s definitely one of those Eldar Pirates.”

“Have they seen us?” Captain asked.

“Doesn’t look like it sir,” Sensors responded, cut in by another operations sailor, who added “Sir, stealth systems still in optimal.”

“So they’re going for one of those alien convoy’s we’ve been tracking?” The captain surmised.

“Yes sir,” Sensors replied.

“That convoy can’t stand up to thank kind of attack, Sir.” The XO advised, looking through what data they’d gathered already.

“Agreed. Looks like we might just be able to make friends and win some prize money today, men.” The Captain noted. “Operations, do we have enough energy to launch a volley before firing up the reactor?”

“Yes Sir.” The response came back

“Excellent. Helm, put us on a stealth-intercept trajectory. Let’s give these bastards the last surprise of their lives.”

Operations Update

Iron Hands Legion fleet, Mentak Coalition space

The Iron hands fleet exited the warp, the damned Freebooterz had gotten ahead, and exited the warp ahead of them. The legion wasn't about to let the damned green skins get away so easily so they began moving deeper into the unknown area of space to search for the pirates. It was bad enough the Dark Eldar were raiding, but with the Orks further complicating things, and drawing legion reasources away from the crusade. The Ork Freebooterz base needed to be found, and razed.
If at first you don't succeed try again with an equally horrible plan.

Hope

Postby The Fallen Jedi » Wed Nov 27, 2013 6:08 pm

When we lose all hope, that is the day that our people will turn against each other, when we lose all hope, we will no longer be able to survive or be united as not a nation, but a single race of people who have struggled thus far to get us where we are now, if we lose this Hope, what is the sense of being in this universe any more?
-Sanji Masaki, During his famous "When we lose all Hope" Speech

Reserdan
Dark Jedi Temple
Master Sanji Masaki

Sanji walked along the long halls of the great Dark Jedi Temple where his ancestors had made their stand during the Great Civil War, where they were on the brink of defeat, but in these very halls, a Man, Ryaku Masaki Sr had inspired the Dark Jedi to never give up to the enemy, as Ryaku Sr stated that "The Enemy will kill us either way, we must not give up our ancestors whom had died in vain to keep our nation at peace, we must show them that the spirit of our Ancestors still are with us to this very day!".

That man was Sanji's father, whom had went missing right before the war had ended, whereas the mantle of Emperor of the Dark Jedi Republic would be passed onto himself, but what Sanji had not expected was when the Communist Revolution had taken place on New Germany against the very same enemies that Sanji himself had faced during the great war. This string of events would further secure the victory of the Dark Jedi Republic, but not under the name "The Dark Jedi Republic", but as the "Dark Jedi-Communist Reich Union".

Sanji looked through one of the long windows of the Temple, observing the serene garden on the ground floor of the Temple, he was glad that his father's Legacy had been passed onto him, and at how a different Nation, with the same priorities, but different government had joined up with the Dark Jedi in the gruesome Task of retaking what was rightfully theirs.

"No more will we feel the burning sting of discrimination against these foreign occupiers, no more will we sit by idly as we watch our fellow man be beaten to death, and be threatened with our lives by the bigotry bastards, we will not watch as people continue to die in peaceful protests against this Government, we, as a people will come together as one, with one voice saying that "we will not walk quietly into the night, we will not vanish without a fight." we are going to live on, we are going to survive, today is the day we win our freedom back!
-Edvard Richtofen Sr, on the eve of the Communist Uprising

New Germany
The Reichstag
Premier Richtofen

It was a usual day in the Reichstag for Premier Richtofen, as he was sitting through another Reichstag meeting to determine the fate of the Communist Reich-Dark Jedi Pact that they had agreed to during the final stages of the war, Richtofen had zoned out for a good portion of the conversation, as he could not sleep for the last night, but he had finally had enough of a nap to be aware of the conversations surrounding him:

"If we (The Dark Jedi & Communists) split apart from each other it could mean a total catastrophe for both of our economies, if we really care for our people, we must find a way to permanently come together and not be bound by a simple treaty!" Ryaku Masaki, Grand Master of the Dark Jedi Order stated to the concession.

This Caused Ludvig Maxis, Minister of the Interior, and Richtofen's friend to stand up and state "I am aware that if we split apart, we will most likely shatter into millions of pieces, battling for even the smallest pieces of land, but what your suggesting will still bring, not cultural conflicts, but diplomatic conflicts, as it is next to impossible for a unified nation to coexist with two different Governmental Beliefs, it just cannot be done!" Ludvig Maxis shouted.

Richtofen was already getting annoyed with this conversation, as he jumped up and also stated "Maybe the problem lies with two governing forces, and not the Governmental Beliefs, what i think should be done is that we make a Council of Communist & Dark Jedi Officials to come together and make the decisions about what path we take in the future, you are all not looking at the red line here, what you must do..."Richtofen then activated a massive holoscreen depicting both the Dark Jedi & The Communist Reich.

"What we must do is have a total of 12 people, and divide them into two groups, one with the Dark Jedi's most enlightened minds, and the other with the Communist Officials and make them come together in a Council Meeting, and when we must decide on a path to take, they will make the decision that is best for our people." Richtofen stated, watching both the flag of the Communist & the Dark Jedi coming together on the holoscreen before it fizzled out. 'Good idea Richtofen, at least it will make this meeting go faster...' Richtofen silently cheered to himself.

Many of the Representatives had begun to converse with one another, many of them in agreement with Premier Richtofen's idea, and the Supreme Commander of the Communist Reich Armed Forces, General Krukov stood up and said "We have reached an agreement with Premier Richtofen's suggestion, and the order will be passed into effect, the next session will be the decision making of who will be part of this Council, Session Dismissed." Krukov stated as he banged a gavel onto the table, causing the entire procession to stand up and begin flocking in different directions.

Krukov let out a sigh of relief 'Thank Lenin thats done with, i was about to keel over if i had to experience five more minutes of the rabble, this is why i'd perfer to be just a general then being the damm Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces!' Krukov silently screamed to himself.

Minerva

Dr. Brackman's Mainframe

"All planets are reporting in, sir," said Dostya. "Defense construction complete as per your orders."

"Excellent, excellent," mused the doctor. "All seems to be in order."

Dostya's eyes shifted left as an alert chimed on her computer. "Doctor, we've got a distress signal from a Cybran convoy under attack. Those pirates again."

"What of their escort?"

Dostya sighed. "It's a convoy from the Maverick Node, sir. They felt they didn't need an escort."

"QAI, how long will it take to reach them from the nearest Cybran system?"

The computer didn't even hesitate. "19.2 hours."

Brackman furrowed his brow. "It seems this convoy is on their own... we can only hope they find a way of escape."

New Germany
Assembly Area
Premier Richtofen & Ryaku Masaki

With the meeting over, Richtofen had decided to talk with Ryaku as he was preparing to head off to Reserdan, they barely had any time to talk, so they might as well have the opportunity to talk...

Premier Richtofen and Ryaku Masaki had been walking for a few minutes through the maze-like hallways of the Assembly Area "I would have to admit, those Diplomatic Talks always take so long, i would always prefer it if they would cut right to the chase, it would take a lot of time off of us, we have a personal life too." Richtofen groaned.

Ryaku chuckled "Well you know Richtofen, for the Governmental Talks, everyone must have their chance at talking, but i agree with you, they constantly filibust about the subject, it usually annoys me, but that is why Sanji is the Emperor of the Dark Jedi." Ryaku stated.

Richtofen smirked, he saw a starship in waiting for Ryaku "I believe that is your ride my friend, be safe on the journey my friend." Richtofen said.

Ryaku smirked and said "And so it is, thank you Richtofen, may the force be with you as well." Ryaku stated, before boarding the Starship, and taking off to Reserdan.

Tuchanka

The war on Tuchanka was going well. Arx and his men had already defeated several tribes, and gained the allegiance of two others. While this may not seem like much, gaining the allegiance of a tribe of Krogan is ridiculously hard, and these new troops could not be trusted with any Turian weaponry. Arx knew that the Krogan joining him would not be friendly, but would do it for their own glory, or for their safety. He would not allow them either.

At the Battle of Arkahlax, Arx and his men defeated the tribe known as the Konros, massaring 5,000 of the enemy while losing only 52 troops. The advanced weaponry gave them an overwhelming advantage. Arx knew that the Turians offered air support, and that with the air support he could take the planet in a matter of months. But he refused to rely any further on the Turians; he would use air support sparingly. Today was not a day to be using Turian ships.

Arx and about 2,000 of his men were to be infiltrating a small mountain rand in the far south of the planet. There, the remaining Konros and the Hijar(another tribe) were united in defeating Arx and his men. They had amassed an army of nearly 6,000 in the mountains, preparing for heavy battle. They entered the mountain range when the sun was still high in the sky. It wasn’t until nighttime that the battle began.

Arx ran through the battlefield; flashes of blue firing from the Turian weapons his Krogan used, and flashes of orange from the bullets released by the enemy. He threw one of the enemy Krogan to the side before raising his weapon and tearing another’s face off. He fired again, leading a team of 12 threw the battlefield, aiding the points where his men dwindled. The barriers provided by the Turian-designed armor protected them from a certain number of enemy bullets, and also allowed them time to fire back. Furthermore, the Turians had given Arx a secret weapon; a, artillery cannon, placed within range of the battle.

As the enemy began to flee he relayed a message to his soldiers controlling the artillery. They opened fire on the enemy’s retreat, decimating their numbers as they dove for cover. As the smoke cleared, Arx took his men through the mountains to clean up the remaining soldiers. They were to be given no mercy; they couldn’t be.

Capt. Jamieson
Mentak Cruiser Star-Crossed Voyager
Cybran Space

Dark and silent, the Voyager, accompanied by a pair of destroyers, approached the strange Eldar craft at nearly a ninety degree angle to it's swift chase of the fleeing transports.  Inside the cruiser the crew was near-silent.  Not that anyone could potentially hear them in space.  It just natural, when sneaking up on someone, to be quiet.

In almost perfect unison a barrage of red pulses erupted form the ships, streaking across the void at several times the speed of light.  Following in their wake was a barrage of slower missiles, screaming with active sensors and ion-grav drives as they flew.  Moments later the weaponry passed into the sensor fog the strange alien craft created to make themselves nearly untargetable.  The scattered gunnery struck solidly, energy and debris blooming out from the handful of impacts.  The missiles were decidedly less effective, all but one scattering targetless through the fog again and again before finally running out of fuel and detonating at the end of their range.  It was almost irrelevant, the small alien raider was already alight with raging fires and threatening to break midbeam.

The attacking Mentak craft lit up on sensors as their main drives and other systems came online, jinking to the side to keep from being easy targets as they did so.  As they attempted to maneuver into position against the second and final Eldar raider, a spread of intercepters launched from it's bays, setting up into escort position as they did.  However the small task group, it appeared, had underestimated the maneuverability of their enemy, and quickly found themselves coming under fire.

Eldar Dark Lances slamed into one of the Destroyers as the enemy craft focused its weaponry on the escort.  The Destroyer's shields and armor struggled to stand against the onslaught.  By the time the enemy craft shot over it's target, there were dozens of hull breaches and and a massive engine leak on the destroyer.  At best, it was out of the fight, at worst, utterly destroyed.

"Captain!" the sensor crewman yelled across the bridge to Commodore Dios, currently at his post in the captain's chair, "Several massive energy bursts off starboard, about 100 kiloklicks."

"Let me see them."  The captain responded.

The main view screen, positioned at the front of the bridge where the outer view would normally be, lit up and displayed a handful of ugly, scrapyard ships.  Even as he watched, the ships rolled and rotated, moving onto an intercept course with the convoy.

"S--, there's no way the destroyers can stand up against that."  The captain turned to the communications operator and called out.  "Get on the horn and tell everyone to go to full burn.  And fire off the distress signal."

"Captain!" the sensor crewman called out again, pulling the captains attention back to him, then the screen.  "Got another storm of energy burst going off, just behind the first ones."

"More raiders?"

"I'm not sure.  These look different."

The screen shifted displaying the massive and dramatic bulk of the Iron Hands battle barge and flagship.  The bridge crew simply stood, looking at the titanic space-cathedral for a moment before shaking it off.

"Let hope they're on our side.  Try to hail them"  The captain called out.

The communications officer acknowledged and sent out a multi-frequency hail in the Iron Hands direction with the pre-recorded greeting, trying to establish some kind of connection.

A day later, another vessel emerged from the warp. Inside the small diplomatic vessel was high Ethereal Aun'shi, who had come to oversee negotiations himself. He and his entourage of water caste diplomats requested permission to dock inside the Emperors Battle-Barge.

The Ship still remained above orbit, and its patient crew waited for a response.

The ship was given permission to dock with the battleship Sword of Retribution.

"Archduke Poggle" spoke a Geonosian, in his native tongue.
"Hmm?" Replied Poggle, his hand sweeping across a holographic map of the galaxy.
"A ship is in orbit, they request to land"
"See what they want, if their reason is not good enough send them away. If that doesn't work, send the fleet on them"
The Geonosian bowed, and did as he was instructed, sending a message to the ship in orbit.
Meanwhile, Poggle continued overseeing the construction of the C.I.S' new warship.

Sword of Retribution.

The small vessel passed through the atmospheric shield of the Sword of Retributions hangar, and touched down where it had been designated to land. The rear hatch of the vessel opened with a hiss and a ramp extended to the hangar floor, moments later a dozen fire warriors marched out of the vessel and created a safe walkway for the High Ethereal Aun'shi in all his greatness to walk towards the Emperor. Upon meeting, Aun'shi bowed to the Emperor of Mankind.

"It is a true honor to be granted an audience with you, Emperor of Man." Aun'shi said, bowing. His Fire Warrior entourage remained motionless, however the Air-Caste diplomats that had followed him also bowed.

Reserdan
Dark Jedi Temple
Emperor Sanji Masaki

As Sanji entered the Dark Jedi Chambers, a meeting was about to begin as the Council Members were converging on the Chambers, but for the moment, only two people were already in the Chambers, Sanji's two brothers: Myaku Masaki, & Ryaku Masaki, Sanji smiled "Greetings Myaku, Hello Ryaku, how was your trip to New Germany?" Sanji asked.

Ryaku looked up, with a smile on his face, and stated "It was indeed a good journey to New Germany, Richtofen was as usual, neck deep in business at the Reichstag, mostly discussing about the Dark Jedi-Reich Pact, at the end of the squabble they agreed on making a Council of Twelve, 6 of them Dark Jedi Officials, and the Other 6 of them Communist Reich Officials, so their next session will be about that, oh and they require you to be there, as Leaders get an Automatic Induction into the Council" Ryaku said, smirking at Sanji.

Sanji smiled "I'm glad we made a breakthrough with them, if we did not have a breakthrough, we might have fallen into a dark abyss of depression" Sanji then turned to Myaku "General, is there any news on the front?" Sanji said, smiling when he called Myaku General, he was annoyed when called that.

Myaku began chuckling "You know i don't like being called that by my peers, but anyways, the news on the front is that it is all quiet, its like that after the War, there has been no skirmishes with them anymore, it seems odd." Myaku pondered.

"You should not be so on guard, be lucky we have not been attacked, and i think the Council is about to assemble right now" Sanji said, pointing to the door, as the Council members began walking inside one at time.

"Alright, lets get this Meeting started eh?" Master Quimond stated...

"Now lets get down to business. What exactly do you want? Trade? An alliance?" The Emperor asked, not wanting to be rude by using his psychic powers to read the Etherals mind. The Custodes stayed by the Emperors side, their golden armor shining in the light, holding their power halberd to the side, ready incase anyone decided to make the last mistake of their lives.

Defense of Golgotha
The snipers did not work for the Ork Warboss was still alive, but the system was about to fall and the general had just came up with an idea, he called in a grav blitz on the Ork positions to crush the Warboss, basically its a when a transporter arms one of its landships into a primed makeshift missile that has the potential to destroy multiple continents as a Landship itself is capable of doing that sort of destruction by itself, but it must be done in order to save the system from becoming lost. The Landships were launched to the surfaced of Golgotha III and II as they saw giant blast that went across its atmosphere. The rubble only saw lost of dead Orks and one Warboss, the news within the Ork navy had made them go into a frenzy that they either started to run in retreat or destroy themselves or be torn apart from the Steampunkis solar luncus cannons.

From the signs, the Steam Guard where able to capture one Dark Eldar cruiser before the rest had a chance to slip, it was quite a stroke of luck as these ships could come and go as they please, with this the scientist could be able to learn more about the Eldar and how to try and explore the Warp for ambitions where rising in the Empire, and they where being in rise because of the new advancements in technology.

The blood ravens wrote:"Now lets get down to business.

Sword of Retribution

Aun'shi stood up and brushed the dust from his Kimono, he spoke in a polite and calm tone. "The Tau Empire is facing a crisis thanks to these Dark Eldar pirates. Our vessels are heavily armed but theirs are more maneuverable and pack more firepower than a ship of their size should carry. We are currently moving to halt economic decline by pursuing economic and military alliances with our neighbors"

"We've fared much better against the raiders. Our heavily armed ships dispatch the smaller raiding craft with ease, and force them to withdrawl. The raiders have taken heavy casualties as a result of attacking our convoys, and thus raids have declined drastically. We can help you deal with them by lending the aid of a Spacemarine legion to help guard your convoys. But this is only a temporary solution. If we are to stop this menace once, and for all we must burn Commorragh to the ground."

"Don't get me wrong, Emperor. We have managed to incur severe losses against the raiders, but in our region of space they appear to be more numerous. yet your offer would definitely be useful for us, however i believe an alliance will ensure the mutual defense our entire region of space. Do you not agree? And i also believe the trade between our nations would lessen the impact of the losses inflicted against our shipping." Aun'shi replied.

The steady hum of the ancient Tokamak engine soothed the mind. The soft vibrations as the exhaust counter blast shot through the frame, swayed you to sleep. Shinigami ships always seemed old and woefully outdated, but were kept more pristine than even brand new self-maintaining ships. The martial discipline that was instilled in every child, helped to maintain their standards of living.
The societal structure that existed aboard Shinigami ships were caste based. It made sure that the society stayed stable. And it was a hard life, but it was the life every Shinigami chose. Though they as a people lived as mercenaries, very few ever left the nomadic, monarchy empire.

A young male walked through the corridors of his ship. The Nostalgia for Infinity hummed and purred under his touch, and swiftely replied to his commands. Despite being ancient, older than even some races, it still worked better than some of the new ships. And it was dearly loved by the people. It was the symbol of the Monarchy, of the stable rule it has supported.
Kazuto Kirigawa, the emperor of his people, arrived on the bridge.
"News." He requested from his crew.
"We are arriving near a populated region." The navigator reported.
"Fuel is nominal, and engine capacity is 43 percent full, we can refuel at the next stop." His engineer reported.
"Good. Send out the request." He said.
A general docking request was beamed out over all the availible channels, to all who were willing to listen.

"I agree. An alliance, and trade would be beneficial. Be wary however. There are more than dark eldar preying on shipping. Ork Freebooterz are beginning to get more bold in their attacks."

"Ah yes, 'Freebooterz', They are not a problem for us, Emperor. The Kroot have a personal vendetta against Orks and commit their vast fleet of warspheres into keeping them out of Tau Space. Perhaps the Shaper Coucil, the political representatives of the Kroot, could discuss that with you." Aun'shi said as his Air-caste diplomats began drafting the treaties on their holopads.

The Dark Eldar did not talk, they seem to enjoy the interrogation, but Steampunkis' scientist had used the neuron-magnetism array that they use to track the Golden Man Syndrome or for a sort of mind reading tactics that they have found that Golgotha and everywhere in the empire, and the galaxy was connected by a series of webway gates that connect to a series of Craftworlds that had made them go with the fall of their race, this was in dire shock, but in order to stop these raids and these Dark Eldar, then the capital of the Dark Eldar known as Commoragh, but the Webway is a dimension that goes between the Warp and realspace, but to have that as an outpost or a new colony of the empire will be able a great spectacle in of itself, though the dimension is a labyrinth nor any of the ships of the Empire can travel through it, but the Dark Eldar's ship did have a navigational system, or something like that. Though they will not do it willingly, there has been a new invention to make sure the Eldar corporate or at least the Steampunkis psychics will know where it is so they can conquer this planet and stop the Dark Eldar raids, or maybe do something else with them.

"They are merely an annoyance. What we need help is a strike on the Dark Eldar base of Commorragh. We can't commit too many reasources to the strike, and leave our ships, and planets open for attack. With your help it would tip the scales in our favor."
