It wont, perhaps 8-10%. After all they have immunity from past exposure, the natives have none.

Do you have a problem with a 1505 Agricultural Revolution? And, still trying to not sound impatient, when are you doing the Welsh thing? It doesn't really matter, just curious so as I know whether the 8-10% is of 3 million or 2.5ish million.

Immunity isn't passed on genetically though...

I have to disagree with the immunity, having studied this era of England for a rather long time, there was never an immunity built up to it. The Great Fire of London burned London to the ground and thus helped remove the disease from London and this was the case in other regions, the burning of bodies and isolation techniques helped the disease not spread. It still has a morality rate today of between 30% and 75%. That's just my opinion, if this strain has mutated, it could be disastrous.

I am most certainly not mutating the strain and am reminding you that 33% of Europe died the first time, an estimated total of 50% were infected and around 90%+ were exposed.

That's why I was planning to "burn the infected alive as a sacrifice" when I got around to posting IC. After a drug and stress induced "Vision from the Gods" showing infected cities engulfed in flame.

The Black Death, no mere smallpox.

You have a legitimate point though,in what you said. It would travel back and it wouldn't be pretty.

It's Black Death by the description in the events the Co-OP posted... Realistically it would travel back to Europe and Ravage the lands there too. There's a reason that Plague is so infamous. That's why I'm having a headache right now on how to handle it and am holding off my posts till tomorrow. Pretty much if I can't contain it, everyone would be in trouble.

Yeah, think of ten of your family members, now picture one of them slowly painfully dying of an infectious disease. That ain't pretty, and for every family in Europe, a disaster.

Nezahualpilli, IRL, had 144 children, it'd be a lot more than 10... LOL But yeah I get your meaning. Of all the diseases to pick to bring into the RP, Co-OP brought the one NO ONE is safe from. XD

I have a feeling the sanitary measures I ordered in a while back should help me somewhat, along with the construction of the old Gaelic steam houses in the major towns. If people reported the plague returning I imagine leaders would take extreme measures to try and reduce infection.

Step 1 : All people are made visit the steam houses and bathe at least once every week
Step 2 : All infected must leave the city (camps would be built in a rural area)
Step 3 : Release the cats!
Step 4 : ???
Step 5 : Profit
