Esperanza merely looked confused. "Momma, who is she?" she asked.

"Yes, she is." Katrina said to Martha, then Katrina said to Esperanza, "This is your mother, back from the dead." Cali sees Martha, "Well, I guess the storm wolf failed yet again."

Martha almost ran over to hug Esperanza, who took a step back to avoid her. "You're not my mother," she told Martha.

"Yes, she is." Katrina said to Martha, then Katrina said to Esperanza, "This is your mother, back from the dead." Cali sees Martha, "Well, I guess the storm wolf failed yet again."

The tribe had finally reached their home island again. Crops were harvested now, those wild crops left around the village which remained after they left for the hunting season. Afterwards was the ritual dance to be preformed to honor the spirits and thank them for the harvest. A large fire was lit for warmth and ritual. Masks were donned by the shamans, and ceremonies were preformed.

The 6th Division, nicknamed "The Bobcats," by Aoife, was finally prepared for the invasion.
Wulf had made it clear that they would have to act carefully. Elina was part of the GUE, therefore, they would have to engage the problem carefully. Most Elinians probably didn't care who was in charge of what, as long as they had lots of apples to nom on. But the GUE, especially Eaglleia, would.
The Bobcats (6th Division) began their travelling at 0600 time, going through Southern France to reach the "enemy." After many hours, they rested in a heavy forested area, using the trees as shelter against any aircrafts that might try and attack. People were worried that Eaglleia may join the bloodless war, and turn it into a very bloody war.
The jeeps and tanks were too uncomfortable to sleep in, even if it had been allowed. Luckily, Aoife had packed sleeping bags for the men, no thanks to Wulf. The small luxury had helped keep morale up (temporarily.)
One of them, a large man named Ivan Trotsky, a half-breed (his father was Vaxonian, and his mother Grey Wolf.) had begun discussing women. A fireplace was not permitted, so the men sat in the dark, the only source of light was the small embers from cigarettes.
Once again, Ivan was telling stories of his sexual prowess. "Them girls in the cities are to die for, boys. They know it, and you know it, and they know that." he grinned as he continued. Some tale about himself and the Governor General's daughter.
Aoife ignored most of the baldy talk, wrapping herself up in the sleeping bag and turning over, falling asleep on the hard ground. Tomorrow would be a long day.

"In the beginning, God said "Let there be light" to burn away the darkness.... On the second day, the sky was born. A majestic canopy for the Earth..... One the following day, God sculpted the bountiful Earth and planted it with trees.... With the fourth day, God split day from night, and blessed the Earth with the cycle of the seasons.... Then God filled the sea with life, and set forth the birds to soar in the skies..... On the sixth day, God created glorious creatures.... Chief of these were mankind, whom he created in his own image.... He blessed them, giving them dominion over all living things.... To care for.... To nurture.... To rule...."

The girl stopped and suddenly came closer to Reyef, her icy blue eyes piercing into his. "And on the seventh day, they say God rested...but God didn't rest. God left...or, perhaps died. Judgement day came and he abandoned us. Casting us aside like parasites." She sat back, her point made clear. "But there is still hope....we have to face this hell full on. Our fate...I hold in my own hands...." She tore off a piece of fish and swallowed it without chewing.

Reyef was shocked that this person ended up being a young girl, for a number of reasons. Even more shocking though was her eyes as she stepped closer, and Reyef suddenly felt a chill rolling down his spine as if the icy feeling came from her own set of eyes. "G-god lives on through the words of the prophet Mohammed and his writings...and in paradise...we are not forsaken in this endeavor." Reyef said, as this was as he'd been taught and the entire belief his nation was founded upon. "What more does this place have, more dangerous than the environment itself?" Reyef couldn't help but inquire.

Your choice." She grabbed the fish and ate the rest of it before tossing the stick aside and slung her rifle over her shoulder. She started walking off again, but stopped just shortly after disappearing into the darkness.

Aleister grabbed her hand, his long, sharp, dirty nails penetrating her arm. "I can do this all day," he told her, grinning and revealing several yellow teeth. "Now stop your little games, and tell me what you know, before I make you tell me what you know."
