Well... I feel like our characters are in the Catalyst.

So... Jariri,

I had presented options for what could happen to Salvia & Mea

Mea rejects Salvia, for Salvia is not 'her', and a battle insumes with in the hollowness of Mea.

Salvia takes over the vessel with ease, thus meaning that Mea was truely only a shadow, a whim of memories once harbored by a tragic life. (could go along with first option)

Salvia encounters 'her' and makes a deal which allows the spirit of the girl to animate the body. Thus meaning that some of the girl did survive, and that when Mea talks about talking to Her she really has been hearing the tourchered ramblings of a forgotten soul.

Salvia, and Her, are merged and assimilated by the body to form a new soul. Killing both characters, and forming new life.

Last two would focus more on the 'human' side of the homunculus...

First two would just plain be tragic.....

But then that would mean Mea is still an empty shell and a puppet...

That would work better for Salvia, though I have to impartial with my characters. Which is why I'm putting so much thought into what would happen.

I had outlined a bit of what the Mea/Salvia would be like;

Personality/Character
This new soul would probably have a feeling of abandonment, and still have a desire to get the respect of her father (though still not know the name of the individual). She'd probably have a drive to better the world though manipulation. She'd probably be on the cunning side. She'd have some desire to protect Damien, though she wouldn't understand why, and perhaps come to see him as a sort of younger brother. She'd probably still have a 'I'm better then you" feeling. She'd have a drive to find out more about who she is, and the emotions from both Mea, and Salvia's escape would combine to form her new sensation about the escape from the medical research complex. She's probably have it in her mind that her father has not come looking for her, since she is different now, not really even human.

Powers
Creeping Flesh - She has demonstrated the ability to spread her organic mesh over a surface for the purpose of feeding. She appears to be able to use a variation of this power for the purpose of striking at, and absorbing, objects, or prey. In the most recent case, the Golden Key.

Adaptable Deception - Can change her physical form in largely any way she desires; developing spikes, tendrils, or even adopting the appearance of another person. She can also absorb biological material in order to increase her size and strength.

Durable Shell - The exterior of the homunculus is much like an exo-skeleton of an insect, holding the creature to a set form. This make injuring her difficult, but not impossible.

Healing Factor- Being a shell housing organic mesh allows her to repair exterior damage with relative ease, also due to this her body lacks any truely vital organs.

Mimicry - She may sound like anyone, or anything, by manipulating the structure of her vocals.

I don't know if it works on the kinsmen, but it should work on anybody that hears it, the closer you are the more effective it is. The thing is, if it goes for more than three minutes of singing,'she fall under her own spell.

I'm kind of having trouble making the characters distinctively different from each other......

Sound vibrates, and bounces, so... I'm concerned she may have turned Mea into jelly.

I understand, it's best not to take on more the you can handle, lest characters begin to merge in their portrayal.

Well.... that's bond to happen considering current flow of events, though I meant actually taking on Mea's character. She is a homunculus, and I think you could pull it off, if you do take her on, we can discuss what happens to her.

Maybe I'm giving her up too soon, I've had a lot of work on my table recently.
