Stalin was very bad. Killed a lot of people. Millions of people. Tens of millions of people. He even personally signed no-war pacts with Nazi Germany, Finland, and Poland. Of course Nazi Germany invaded Poland so that didn't work out, but he tried.

Khrushchev maybe didn't kill as many people, but unlike Stalin he gave off the public appearance of being freaking terrifying. Unlike Stalin, Khruschev deliberately did the job of scaring the American people. And he did it well; talk to any "cold war child" that grew up in the 70s or 80s, they'll all say the same thing: that they were always afraid of the Soviets nuking America at any given time.

Gorbachev was a pansy who destroyed his own country.

Stalin also killed more people than Hitler managed to in his Holocaust business.
