pretty much the entire PDF datanet. supply cache locations, information on this bastion base and more of that kind. we can't pull it through satelite links anymore due to that corruption.
Curious and industrious, PMT sharks in an FT setting.
factbook is WiP. but a basic overview of our species is below:
population (remaining, estimated) 6000
State religion: not enforced but every member of the species follows the Cult of Pas Mathéma in some fashion.
Goverment type: Council of 5 heading a technocratic fuedalist society
Govermental sovereignty: protectorate of the 44th independant legion; large independant but ceding to them for interstellar politics and trade
Military power: on an FT schale next to nothing, since our total number of starships is for now 0.

Carch, friendly anthro blue shark. got any kalamari?

Well if that fails I am sure Harper would logically have some idea on force sizes and main bases given he has been on the planet 5 years and been involved in the training process. Though he would have no knowledge of the current operations or force dispositions of course (a it's in the background and b that would just be boring wouldn't it).

I suddenly realized that I absolutely hate my company captain. He is an expy of Jack Sparrow, made by a guy who cannot do Jack Sparrow (You know what we would call what Jack Sparrow does if he were in an RP? GM.), for a universe that doesn't need Jack Sparrow.

And while I'm at it, I hate my company too. It's a poor mishmash of cultures, works on an inefficient doctrine, and is composed of slow, obsolete, mechanically unreliable tanks. At this rate I'd rather ride a velociraptor into battle. Can I somehow kill off my company with, like, a mutiny?

You could stay behind and defend the plasma reactor until it blows thus not giving the PDF a chance to prevent the detonation. Out with a bang and in a blaze of glory to boot!

How long is it, like 48 hours?

Also once everyone leaves would you need to post? Just presume the company is fighting till it goes boom.

Or sparrow is killed and the company is taken over by somebody else if they would agree it.

I'm hungry for everyone not to be detained any longer at the fort, so I can get properly involved. Dealing with your mutiny would delay that. :(

I can always just start the mutiny just as we're leaving, and insist that everyone go on without me.

Well. A couple of options. Either you change and ICly there was no change, as in you were always the new company, or one of your men could open up the vox airwaves and taint a platoon that sets off a bomb in your company and kills the majority of your men or something.

Or-and this is a long one-the Morgoth conscripts have had enough with the commissar just as the regiment begins movement, and so rebel, requiring the rest of the company to stay behind and mop up. At that point I am free to make a more… Inspired company. Maybe samurai like last RP, or dinosaur-riding Germanics/British adventurers, or DKoK light infantry, or French light infantry, or French Mechanized, or French air-mobile artillery, armor, siege armor, exotic zoo of chimeras, artillery, watchmasters, space-scots…

Yeah, I guess Space-Sparrow was a bad idea.

Given your origional idea for a DKoK only RP, they would be a good bet. Though I do like Tau Samurai.

The Samurai are proud warriors of Goda, who mix old with new; armor with horses (and giant turtles); bombards with bows; rockets with… MORE ROCKETS!

Oh yeah, and I've been tossing around the fluff for Goda Guard. Goda is an Imperial Knight world where the nobles are split between the upper great lords who own knights and the lower petty lords who merely have armies to fight with. Petty lords are in service to great lords as retainers, and are responsible for waging war in an honorable manner. If anybody breaks the sacred codes, however, then it's all-out with the knights. Naturally, such a system cares little for non-retainer petty lords and peasants, who- There I go, off-topic.

Miscellaneous info: There's quite a lot in the Sourcebook. I'm grateful to anyone who reads it!

-Company Commander info-
Name: Tavio Archer
Age: 31
Gender: Male
Rank: Captain
Background: After the events chronicled in "Chosen" (see link below), Tavio was gathered up with the rest of the Bridonian troops by supporting elements of the Azurian Guard (planetary defence forces) deployed to the Duskwood region. From the time they were loaded onto the troop transport and flown at high speed across land and sea, the northerners were ministered to by Shepherds of the Church of Terra. This helped to ease the transition into contemporary society and eventual Imperial service through sermons aimed at reinforcing their faith in the Emperor and emphasising their more direct service to the Imperium.

Tavio showed commendable leadership skills during his training and once he had completed Basic Military Training, Basic Guard Training, and Basic Occupational Training, he was granted admission into the Imperial War College, graduating as a Lieutenant. He was assigned to the Persican 498th Black Lance (Mechanised Infantry) which, upon mustering, was immediately deployed to Cadia. Leading the 8th Platoon, 10th Company, Tavio saw a great deal of action at Kasr Sonnen. Attrition was brutal, but Tavio managed to survive and lead his decimated Company after the death of Captain Connemar Ramos. The remainder of the Lance was returned to Persica and Fortress Telamon. Those not permanently disabled or killed by their injuries en route were reassigned to the Persican 501st Black Lance, which had recently been commissioned.

The 501st was assigned to join the fight against the orkish Overfiend of Octarius, spinward of Badab in the Ultima Segmentum. Predictably, attrition wore down the Black Lance and the remnants were headed home to begin the cycle anew. En route, they were diverted to Pan Arcadia, assigned to augment the Segmentian 557th. Tavio Archer has risen to the rank of Captain and leads what is left of the 3rd Company of the Persican 501st Black Lance.

Physical description: Tavio stands 5'10" (178cm) and is quite fit and leanly muscled. His left arm from the elbow and his hand were lost on Cadia and replaced with a bionic limb. He has very close-cropped copper hair and grey eyes.

Timberfox-pattern Chimera
Manufactured on the forge world Ziniger in the Benelith Sector and similar to the Mars-pattern Chimera, with the following variations.
Armament: Turret-mounted heavy bolter, hull-mounted heavy flamer, lasgun ports (x6)
Equipment: Extra front armour (standard) or dozer blade (variant), track guards, camo netting, searchlight
Capacity: Twelve, plus driver.

And also a short story that gives some insight into Persica and Tavio Archer: Chosen
And my thanks to anyone who takes the time to read it!

Yes, accepted. Missed it in the ooc chatter.

Heh. Your ship is in orbit according to the IC.

So is a Chaos battleship and small fleet.

Looks like an emergency drop for you might be your entry. Your only entry.

Not yet. We have one map that needs some updating.

Also, I posted a WIP post. I need to add the battle at the west end of the fort, but other than that and I think one more thing, I responded to all who needed a response.

Also, I hope the chaos part was chaosy enough. I don't write for chaos often at all.

Ok, I have just been thinking about how to take the city. One plan I had is rather crafty but I don't know if it will work as it depends on the size of the city.

I will give it a read now, i'm not much of a chaos buff myself so I am sure it will seem good to me!

Aw, that was one of my favorite Waltz pieces. I digress.

Also, will be funny when the Higarans hear what Harper likes. There will be much scoffing.

Anyways, what did you think of the chaos part of my post? Decent? Bad?
