Great Houses of Xie wrote:k, I added a post for the 2 Vendettas coming in to get refueled; they have two regular squads of guardsmen with them. I figure someone will probably notice them coming in and will likely respond. Of note, the Vendettas are colored black and navy blue, with gold imperial eagles, so they should be easily distinguished from the more conventional camo pattern used by the PDF.

Company name: 50’th lost genos legion (The lost) or 50’th Ghost legion
Home world: Terra, north American wasteland
Type of Company: Chaotic specters: neither existing in reality nor the warp. They’re trapped for an eternity reliving their battles over and over, unaware of their doomed fate. There are chaotic, fighting with all manner of weapons.
History: During the Horus heresy elements of the, then, 50’th Geno legion and a large selection of pre curser ultra-marines were assaulting Mondus IV. A warp storm was predict to miss the planet and for two weeks, cut of off all travel from the planet’s surface. By then many thought the fighting would be over and the spacemarines would be victorious. Though little is known about what happened, it theorized that the warp storm for some unknown unreason veered off course and swallowed the planet whole. When the storm passed, the entire population of the world vanished without a trace. There was no sign of either side. Originally a demon incursion was suspected, but because of the lack bodies they dismissed this idea. Re-colonization took place just after the formation of the imperium. Two hundred and fifty later, the planet sustained a wide spread attack by the force of chaos. With no available space marines, many thought the planet would fall long before help could arrive. The planet was able to hold out until reinforcement had arrived thanks in part to unknown imperial guard company. No trace or records of the imperial company were found. Story began to circulate of a ghost company; though many commanders refused to believe it.
Then reports resurfaced during the first black crusade of unknown imperial guard operation in the area that was refusing to answer communication or take orders. Once again no records are recovered after the engagement...
Of all the legends of the Imperium, one of the strangest is that of the 50’th Ghost legion. For those who know where to look, there are many corroborated accounts of these otherworldly warriors, their unexpected appearances upon a desperate battlefield, and their sudden and inexplicable disappearance at the battle's end
Commanding Officer: Mason ‘Damned’ Sinclair
Number of Guardsmen: 200 men broken into four groups of fifty lead by a banner carrier and several drummers. Squad may receive regular guardsmen until their losses return from purgatory.
Support (Weapons, vehicles, etc): 5 - banner carriers, ten haunting flamers (spectral based)- 5 Auto-cannon, 5 heavy bolters. Some vehicles but does not rely on them.
Possess two anti-tank mod Chimeras and 14 pre-heresy old earth tanks. Basic equipment consist mostly of storm rifles, a precursor to the bolter. As well as several pre-imperium bolters and laz guns. Soldiers carry flack vest with frag grenades and a power sward .
Uniforms: They appear to be older man (and females) wearing precursor imperial soldier uniforms which have similar flak jackets and gold embroider emblems.
Miscellaneous info: First thing you hear is always the drummers on key. Followed by low murmurs as the soldier appear unnaturally slow, but their movement don’t have to make sense.
-Company Commander info-
Name: Mason ‘Damned’ Sinclair
Age: last time on record 47, real age unknown
Gender:male
Rank: Lieutenant
Background: A cold hearted veteran of the unification war and possibly one of the last genos to die (or disappear) during the Horus heresy. He was known to be very smart (even by genos standards) brilliant and loyal to the end. He lived his entire life in the bitter end of the age of strife and truly believed in emperor ideas. This was mostly in part thanks to growing up in techno-barbarian city states and realizing there has to be better life.
Physical description:he is 5’7’’ and appears to be 175 pounds. He wears precursor Lieutenant rank insignia, a red flak-jacket underneath a red trench coat, fur cap sits on his head that is always crooked, and combat fatigue pants, gold skull and bones necklace. He has several states of existence showing different times in his life.

He checked his watch. Eighteen minute and a few seconds. Rather good considering they’d be homesteading on the tarmac rather than using the legion’s standard quick-break camp set up. He reached up from the command table at which he was sitting, and pulled the vox mike to him.
“You grots were 3 minutes late!” He called out over the full set of company bands, one of the few times it was used. “What do you think we are, Hades Hive Transit? Guess everyone needs more practice packing, so everyone back out of the Chimeras while you’re Lieutenants and I find some other poor bastards company for you to pack up.”
Marki released the microphone button and looked over to his vox operator and asked for the company command channel. “This is Marki of 10th. I've got a couple hundred idle hands over here. Anyone need a hand making the hour deadline?”
