I have been very fortunate to know many friendly Americans. Most of the people I have interacted with are polite, and easy going, if a little ignorant of foreign cultures. I have always had a fairly positive view of America. Although it troubles me that your country is deeply divided on almost every major political issue, and your congressmen seem more concerned about partisan disputes than serving the people they represent.
