We could open trade and share technologies too. Depending what you decide to do...

Not to mention I'll have to standardize forces because of the incompatibility in operational doctrines of the North and South, not to mention the equipment and technology difference.
...And then there's the Nuclear Weapons. So much politics!
A Post-Balkan War state vs the continent Australia? Righto! Australia has dem mineralz, so I don't know how I feel about harming my international trade without incentives.
The Balkans has many good thinks like natural resources . Also if we form Yugoslavia we can comtrol trade from China into Europe because we are their only influence in Europe. So with that we could ally and you get some resources and an ally in Europe.

Trade into the Balkans and Eastern Europe. Northern Europe would still have trading routes, because of their strategic geographical position. But still, trade that goes to you will help you a lot

I am not interested in making puppets in Europe, only allies. I want to make puppets somewhere else. And I blame you, Britain, for what is happening between us right now

How so? You can any time just give an embargo and kick all my companies out of your country (which btw are just settling. It will take months or even years for them to be completely established). You didn't accept my loan so you don't have any duty to me, legally.

I need you for defense. If you left me to my own devices I could support an economy but Australia would kill me.

No he wouldn't. Even though you are not member of the EU, European nations wouldn't let a brother go down that way. If Australia strikes you first, you would be victimized around the World and help would come in.

Now, why is he worried about Australia coming after him when they are a world away, and probably have minimal ties, trade, and diplomacy? Plus, what sane developed nation would get involved in another Balkan War?
I've been trying to follow along with this story line and I just can't see what each side is trying to say or do. I understand there is economic friction between them, but what is stopping Kosovo from seeking investment and goods from other nations?
