Sometimes? It's not really a 'sometimes' trope.

Like my character. Sure, she has a name. But people only call her Flint because to them, that is her real name, not Veronika Konstantinova. She will always do her best to keep her name known as Flint.

Except for the omnipotent desk receptionist.

You get it?

Characters who fit it:

Swith (Charumati)
Deuce (Dexter Usseio, the number 2 unrelated to "Dexter"))
Deader
Cuisine
Fortu (the 42nd clone)
Tipper (Calista of Usseio)
MB (he does have a name)
Insidious
Primordial
Aegis
Ceril (Cerillium is a descriptive nickname. Thaddeus Usseio)
Monique (M-Series Q v3.1)

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

I have a few to add. Must find them again.

Yeah well guess what else is out-of-date? Me! Ah ha ha ha...ha.....ha..... *ahem* sorry.

But yeah one of these days I'll go back and read through the entire IC over and look for more tropes to put in.

I swear we could publish this work as a book if we took the time and care to avoid copyright infringement.

http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ArcWelding The setting every time someone wants to do an invasion or some other nonsense that would be easily defeated due to current characters/things in place/current tech. In some cases, we don't succumb to Arc Welding, such as the Innovators wanting their tech to be superior, because doing so would open the door to "Dani Spanks the World Part IV" should she return.

Put them in as well. Also listed Flint as The Alcoholic, in contrast to the other Hard Drinking Party Girls around.

I think the national personifications also fit the Anthropomorphic personification category. Seeing as while nations are more tangible a concept than death, they still are technically abstract. A nation only exists as long as its people will it to exist really... :p

Also, Sigtrygg(my viking character) http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/IAmXSonOfY

Can we add the Wiki link to that page? http://personification-life.wikia.com/wiki/Personification_Life_Wiki

Current tropes to fluff/add characters to
Eldritch Location - Bielefeld, the Building, the Ruins and those mentioned apartments.

Immune to Drugs - Minerva and her Lads. Ogoti, Swith.

No Name Given - Bane is not that entity's real name. It doesn't have a name.

Omniscient - O.C. Demens

Running Gags - Flying tea trays

You Gotta Have Red Hair - Minerva

You Are Number 6 - Fortu (42) and Monique (MNQ)

We need to edit Older Than They Look. This only applies to specific characters. It's not Really 700 Years Old.
Older Than They Look
Thomas Quirkland
Cornelius Thriller
Snowskeeper Ferenczy
Baen
Primordial's group
Flint
Barox

Really 700 Years Old
All Chaos Cultists and their daemons
All Conservators
Ceril
Daemons
Superbia
Lucius
Jacob
Albert
Kei

Time Abyss
All Chaos avatars excluding Naomi
Krieger, Purna
Bane

Reality Warper
Charumati

Clap Your Hands if You Believe
Klaus and his Men

Psychic Radar - Chaos forces especially Tipper, Siduer and Ogoti

Also, Jacob and Albert are technically those characters nicknames. Their real names are the Republic of Aksarben and the Empire of Aksarben(if one or the other is dead they can just be called Aksarben) so they chose human names to interact easier with people :p

Bran I have no idea how Swith wants the twins presented. Can we just say they're all playing and not actually show interaction between them? Makes it easier.

Here's my suggestion. We move Zalgo to a different weekend. Urran has a New Years feast set up. People can go to that and enjoy. They can celebrate NYE however they choose.

Okay of to eat. Got the tropes on and updated it with the wiki.

Now if you wanted to list me as the resident STALKER/Metro expert, I wouldn't say no Cer.

In that case, I got the resident Halo and Fallout expert! Though I doubt that does much good, really, considering the lack of those two genre in the RP.

Nomination period is over. It looks like it may come down to a vote for the P2TM awards. http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=18345887#p18345887 This gives Bran, Gio and others a fair chance, but, at the same time, means that people will vote their favorites. We'd need you guys to actively vote on that thread if it comes to it. Gio, Bran and a few others stand a chance at walking away with an award if we pull together.

We could do it sensibly. For example, Swith's listed for several things. If she didn't want "best overall RPer" and Gio was also nominated for it, we'd all put our votes behind Gio. Make sense? Team effort?

Experts listed on the wiki:

I didn't choose them based on their knowledge of a genre. Rather, they were appointed because of their ability to impart knowledge about that genre in a way that's balanced with other genre. I've gone to them when I needed solid answers that weren't based upon opinion.

We haven't had a need for experts in Metro, Fallout, Star Trek, Dr Who etc.
