That's true. It's good to see her in play again. Don't rush the Prim thing. We can always pick you the story when we return to the city. In fact, it might be good to do it then, since having it occur on the island would keep people on the island.

Really, peeps, the island is dull for a lot of us. It's partially why Eru hasn't posted (the character has nothing to do there but chat) and partially why we're lagging (a lot of players don't like to sit around and hold conversations.)

We have Sig's boat that NA can work on. You guys can start rebuilding the huts in the morning. Put your mark on the island.

We'll transition back on Wednesday.

Yeah, I'm guessing that while Kei might be in play, the event could still be played while we transition.

I was just working on the Building for our wiki. It's fairly awesome.

The outside appears as the person's "perfect place to live". If your character love Tudor style, it's Tudor. If they like modern, it's modern. The outside is much smaller than the inside.

There is always a stoop with a small flight of stairs that lead up to the main door. There's sideyards on each side of the building. As you're looking at the building itself, the side yard on the right blends into woodland. The one on the left is divided from the house next door by a white picket fence. There's an empty lot on the other side of the fence but that's only because the Raptor House has flown off somewhere.

The backyard is large. There's a firing range back there. There's a large pool with a large pirate ship as decoration. There's a large lawn. Behind it is woodland and a small trail which leads through the woods to the old ruins of Vaffleheim and a military base. The Ruins are blocked off by a wall that seems to stretch into the sky "forever". It's a magical barrier.

The inside of the building has some fixed features. That said, the lobby and ground floor appear to be the "perfect lobby" when viewed by each character. Minerva sees the sterile grey confines of an Insane Asylum lobby. Naomi sees a cozy place with frilly curtains and chairs.

Features will are always present no matter how the lobby looks:

So, there you are. You've just walked in the front door. On your right is a wall with postal boxes. Each box represents an apartment. There's a buzzer panel which you can use to ring for someone in their private dwelling. You step through the foyer and enter the lobby proper. Directly on your left is a large reception desk. This is where tenants fill out their leases. Next to the desk is a drop box where payments are made. Things which go in there vanish before they ever hit the box's bottom.

There's a hall at the far end marked Maintance. It leads to the murky parts and a stairwell down to the subfloor/basement where the janitor and boiler are. The entrance to the gym and indoor pool are also off the lobby.

To the right is a large seating area by a window. As you walk through the lobby, you'll see other neat features. There are two doors on the left. One is marked Bomb Shelter. The other is marked Chaos Quarters. Across from them is a bench with a brass plaque which reads Thriller's Thinking Bench. There's a main stairway and some lift doors on the right. Both lead up to the building's primary (1st) floor. (We're set up a bit European. American's would call the ground floor "1"; it's not.)

The first floor (one flight up from the lobby) contains the communal areas. There's a communal dining room and kitchen on the right. There's a library and rec room on the left. There are apartments on this floor. the floors continue, with more and more apartments. The hallways are left to the person's imagination however most have tile/wood and a carpet runner. There are lights dotting the halls and the occasional potted plant.

The top of the building contains a party area, plus turret weapons/big guns. There's a helicopter hangar up there as well.

The one thing to note... apartments do not have balconies.

The Building is sentient. It heals itself although recently the landlord has begun issuing fines to people who destroy the property without damn good reason. It's heavily protected against intrusion, to include an active security system which purges nanites and smaller things. It easily registers tech. Breaking into apartments while players are offline (and without letting them know) is taboo.

I'm sure I've missed some stuff.

Ah... the Building sits on a corner. The street (Main) it intersects with leads directly to the Market District, which is a omi-cultureal. Chaos restaurant and Bran's shop are there.

I asked G-Man. He's up for it on Monday or Friday. That works for me because I'm too sleepy to think straight tonight. We need to focus on transitioning too, and I'll be out Tuesday because of my CAP meeting. Aerospace Education night! Yay! I'm teaching.

Morgan doesn't have school tomorrow, but she has Girl Scouts on Tuesday so I don't know if Cer will be on Tuesday night. You're returning from HK soon, aren't you? I don't want to plan stuff on a night when you'll be too tired to join in IC.
