I honestly couldn't see getting married unless I'd been dating the person for at least five or six years. That's what my parents did, and they're the happiest couple I've ever seen. Also, they didn't have kids for another ten years after that, AND they waited ten more years to have a second child, so... that also factors in.

He has a repeating carbine slung around him as well, along with a holstered revolver on his buckle.
