Fvaar shivered. She hadn't really thought about that possibility, but... Yeah, the risk was there. F***. Setting an arm on the table, the girl tried to switch her thoughts to more positive matters. Saying hello to Prim? If Aegis was any indication, a chat with him was unlikely to help.

However, the somewhat nervous chatter of the others helped. A lot. For one, it was nice to know that they weren't totally screwed; there were in fact failsafes. For another...

Swith had said, "Think back to all the weird shit that's happened to us. It's safe to assume those kinds of things can happen again." Fvaar actually found that a bit reassuring. Weird shit had been a significant part of her life for... Well, at least three years. It had become something of a constant, and hadn't hurt her yet.

Of course, this was a different class altogether of weird shit.

...And then Tilt got random. Fvaar cracked up and joined in, voice leaping from alto to soprano to tenor.

As everyone started ordering, she frowned, looking at the menu. "I'll have an order of pancakes- no, two Belgian waffles-" Are those actually Belgian, anyway? "With bacon on the side, extra crispy. No butter."

"I know a bit about the city- I read a lot, and I have a good memory- but not a whole lot. Also... Is it possible that we could maybe influence this world by writing or something?

"If I were to honestly guess? I'd say we'd have to enter the data onto Nation States. But there's a problem. I never wrote it as being part of this universe. Even if we did find a computer, it wouldn't find that website. It would find the ones we've created, of course, like some of NVE's stuff in-game. Gio's nation news website... from that stalled story?... that might still be there. But we don't exist as people in this universe. We don't have IDs. Except maybe Bran? Bran, did you once write about the tree in your front yard?"

"Didn't Mon have a self-insert character at one point? Also... I have some contingency plans for really weird eventualities, one being meeting myself from another time, universe, etc. Is it possible that we actually might exist as people here, as in having counterparts? Or maybe all of the NPCs are to some extent counterparts, as they're stock characters and an easy way to flesh those out a bit is to add qualities of the writers?" Fvaar took a sip of the juice which had arrived. Presumably she wasn't quite as tuned to the 'verse, as she'd had to wait for it to be brought. Speaking of which... "Also... Maybe we, or you anyway, can influence this place without NS. What you said about the drinks... You're tuned to this place. Even I might have a tiny connection with it. Maybe the connections can be used, especially if everyone somehow combines forces?" Fvaar began to tie yet another slipknot in her messy hair.
Come to the light side.  We have teamwork, waffles, popcorn, grape juice, and way too much ramen.

Unless one is a genealogist, therapist, geneticist, or FBI agent - who is acting within the scope of their job - to claim that anyone is wrong about their own identity is not merely absurd but also extremely rude.

"My iPod Touch took a shit on me, so I went back to the Nano that got a bit water-logged. And I don't have a smart phone, so I don't know why all my shit is missing too. I'd like to listen to my music, please and thank you." Brit said to Remmy with a yawn.

He looked over to Fvar. "Yeah, I did, however if you mean User, it wasn't planned for self-insert. User soon evolved into her own character of sorts, and so that's when I put in Klanov, as Prim's characters named him. He was the *true* self-insert. I think I played him off quite nicely, actually, if I do say so myself." He nodded.

"How so? That would probably mean we'd need to go find the raptors' cloning equipment. Possibly combine all of us into one superbeing, if it has that kind of capability."

Tilt finished his beer and called for another one, which wasn't long in coming. The glass shimmered with dew and he gazed through it at everyone in turn.

Khan suddenly re-entered the conversation, having been off doing something or another. Possibly trying to figure out more about the city, since he hadn't done too much in his brief part of PL. "So, what's the plan then?" he asked Swith. Or Trice. Real names were odd.

I wrote the lore so that his computer had access to the internet from my own universe, it's how he was able to order Erucian-timeline things.

"If that's the case, then we should be able to....well, get NS. I'm fairly sure that Ray's computer was still at its desk inside of the Three Tails." He felt rather proud of himself for this.

"Who is going to control the portals? I don't have Swith's power. Plus, if we open one, we're not in control of whatever might be on the other side. What if it's Nifid? What if it's something else? What if we rip the fabric of the universe? And then, there's the fact that I can't recall you ever mentioning NS in the IC. I didn't write it into the world, in other words."

"But you did write back NVE's old apartment, which is still abandoned, and has a ton of goodies for just that purpose, like the AUS from the mirror universe story. Although, I did go overboard on the security, which wouldn't be a problem if I had the Laser-spanner in Fortu's toolbox." PXM suggested.

"Tilt, I could probably figure out how the cloning booth works, but I doubt it could do that. Not to mention the clones have short lives." He replied to Tilt.

She glanced at James and chuckled before forming the letter 'F' with both hands and pressing the joined fingers together. She twisted her dominant hand and followed the movement with the sign for 'person'.

As was per usual of her, Serina had merely ghosted her way over to stand near the crowd after having wandered a bit, sat on the floor with her knees to her chin, and listening to the conversation. She enjoyed hearing what older people had to say (at least those who were older), and everyone mostly said what would have anyway. Honestly, she was not sure how they would return to their homes, not with all that people were suggesting.

What would Gio the character do? She'd give a rousing speech!

Serina didn't give rousing speeches, though she supposed the ability was there, considering Gio said everything via her. Then again, she actually had time to think through whatever Gio said, whereas talking was on the spot.

"I've read a lot of stories about creator becoming prey to creation," she commented, shrugging. "Some turn out good, others not so much. Always depending on how the creator treated it."

Mundane... Well, if that's the case, I won't be much help. While, as TOK had helped her to really understand, very few things could be seen as being certain, she was pretty sure that she wasn't mundane. Less weird than Nick, yes... Come to think of it, none of them were likely that mundane. This roleplay seemed to have a habit of attracting unusual people.

"I agree with Remmy's splitting into groups and musical tastes." Brit said to Swith. His years of learning about military strategies and such may have affected his mind as such. He usually gave answers to his colleagues like 'Roger', 'Affirmative', 'Wilco', or 'Negative'. He was looking into joining the Air Force, after all. Why not try to get a head start. Most of the acronyms he learned weren't very professional, though they could apply in this situation. It was TARFU, which stood for Totally And Royally Fucked Up. He wanted to go home, and sleep in his own bed.

James gave Trice a confused look. He could get along enough to understand basic sign, to have a conversation on a fourth or fifth grade level, or order food, but he didn't understand larger words or things like that. She shrugged, still greatly unsettled by the mounting feeling in the back of his mind. He shuddered unconsciously, trying, and failing to calm himself, and returned the signing to Trice, rather shakily, asking her what she had meant.

James nods silently, worry obvious on his face. "A-ahh... T-that's... Pretty cool..." He smiled weakly to Trice, trying to push the feeling aside, and trying to focus more on the one person who seemed to actually want to talk to him. This helped, slightly, but not very much at all. The worry stopped growing... But it did not go away...

"Cruelly and unusually?" It was a sudden shift of attention away from James, but the tall guy didn't seem to want to talk. Standoffish. Maybe garlic fries weren't his thing; garlic gave some people gas. "That's probably why Min over here is on vodka #7. It's obvious that with the kind of craziness we've inflicted on the Building, it's going to tell us all to go the fuck to sleep. Whether that's a metaphor or not remains to be seen."

"I'm here because the alcohol is much easier to deal with than the actual verse that I'm in," Min griped, taking a gulp of his vodka. Min, clearly overhearing what Tilt had to say, even if they weren't formally introduce nor did he know anyone else. Liquid courage had a tendency to do that for Min, speaking up even if it could cause a small amount of trouble, but Min knew better, and he didn't want any animosity whatsoever. His spikey jet black hair newly cut and styled accentuating his features and sharpening his gritted jawline along with his semi-sharp cheekbones, sharp downward eyebrows and "frowny" Chinese features. Although, to his own pride, people did say he had a great smile. Anyway, he looked like a wannabe teenage Bruce Lee really, or so everyone seemed to correlate to (much to his own irritation). He wore a grey/black three-quarter sleeve baseball shirt and tan Mossimo twill slim pants compliments of Target complete with Van shoes. Very collegiate attire to say the least. With a friendly smile borne out of alcohol inducement rather than natural sociable skills, he gestured to the free seats at his table, "Have a seat," he said, leaning back against the chair and crossing his left leg over his right, "Its been rather quiet here and I could use the company, I hope you two don't mind."

Indeed, he had scurried away to find the nearest bar. Partly on melancholy, partly because he couldn't comprehend that he was stuck somewhere he didn't know where, and more than half of him didn't like the idea of being alone. This whole place, no matter how welcoming, screamed "alien" to him and Min had shrunk his personality two shades shy of "fuck off" attitude. Alcohol however, had made him sociable. Such was the case usually, as Min never drank alone if he could help it and only during times of extreme stress. This qualified as an exception considering being plucked out of the world he knew and tossed to a world that he never imagined being put in. He didn't know where to go, what the fuck to do, and more than ever found it increasingly scaring that he was stuck here. The whole "squeeze your eyes and will yourself awake" only earned him an unceremonious, if not vulgar, fart. To which he retreated out of the apartment and into Chaos where he had been the entire time.

And just as suddenly as he was here, Min was already missing home and wishing upon whatever god there was out there to bring him back. Priorities were set straightforward, specifically, there was a bed in his own home that wanted more than anything to crawl under its thick comforter, hug his dinosaur plushy and ultimately pretend all of this was a dream. So far, nothing worked, even the pinching and 3 drinks of the vodka/7-up.

"You know, I hear it's supposed to help if you imagine people naked. Though in Bielefeld, that might just summon Bones' naked fairy, and then none of us would be able to look each other in the eye the morning after. So to speak. They're troublesome things, naked fairies. Always funnier when it happens to our characters instead of us. Adelie penguin fairies are so much better, wouldn't you all agree?"

He glanced around, hoping he was reassuring the others with this idle banter that kinda sorta resembled what his handler had read in the post that started this whole story. And if not, any perceived arrogance in it would help push the others to chew him out and let off steam in the process.

A typical harebrained scheme from Tilt.

"Naked fairies," Min giggled, "that's actually a good idea, I've always wondered what," he didn't finish the sentence and snickered some more thinking about Dan. He had purposely chosen Dan, cause... frankly the guy was cute. Spruce the actor into a fae, dabble some magic into him, make him a pansexual of sorts (since Faes didn't really give two craps who they rolled in the hay with, so to speak), give him so back story melodrama to play out, and Min was satisfied with his char. He just never thought he'd actually be in Bielefeld.

Switching subject so not to get too distracted with his own worries of home while intoxicated, Min tilted his head slightly, smile still in place. "So... I'm Min," the lanky Asian introduced himself, "I go by another name, but meh, Min will do here. Who might you be?"

"So . . . What's the penguin fairy do? Turn our clothes into penguins?" Brandon asked. If the Naked fairy was responsible for the dissipation of clothes, then did all fairies have the power over clothes? He didn't necessarily want to experience it in person, but it would be interesting if he could still play out his characters in it. Of course, he was experiencing the world through their eyes now.

Now exited the conversation PXM tried to recall anything that would be helpful. His terrible memory failed him again, but he did remember that anything from NVE's room would most likely kill kim from just being near it and had nasty side effects from using it. It was a habit to always make the most wonderful things useless to avoid being called overpowered. Although, Fortu's stuff was safer, and he had a car, and no complicated security. He turned his attention to Bran after a short bit of daydreaming with his mental iPod.

"I think a penguin fairy would turn us into penguins...and I hope saying its name three times doesnt call it. But if it did, I could be Kwalski, you could be Private, Tilt could be Rico, and Mon would probably be Skipper. Four commando penguins against the world." PXM suggested, likening the hypothetical situation to his favorite fictious penguins.

"My thoughts exactly, PXM- but who are those guys? Anyway, that or- this is Tilt- give him an excuse to hand out penguins IC? I'm Fvaar, by the way, in case you didn't catch that. I'm pretty sure that Bran is short for Branreich. If that's the case, hi, person whom I sorta know! Um, thanks for accepting Zoe..." Fvaar continued to knot her hair, although she was also working on a few large braids. In a restaurant with nothing out of place but her group, it made sense to neaten one's appearance as much as possible. She'd stick out a little less, at least.
