"Sorry for the fast pace of my speech, too. I'm not used to speaking to people who might not have the best grasp on English,. Even though English speakers have difficulty keeping up with what i say at times." He chuckled a bit and pushed his glasses up a bit. As he spoke he looked at just about everything he could, from the floor to the ceiling to... well, everything. HE was at least glad his glasses had come with him, otherwise he'd be basically blind, unable to see clearly past half a foot in front of him, his eyesight was that bad. He continued to smile faintly as he followed along with the group, guessing they were heading to Chaos or other well known places for the food mentioned by Cer.

"De nada," Ren lightly replied. "Used to it. Helps at work, too. People say long-winded, stupid ideas to me. I say nothing because they speak too fast. They go away with stupid ideas. Everyone say I'm wise for ability to "judge" good ideas from bad."

He winked at Jake and added, "The smart ones put smart ideas in email and send to me."

Ren held up a hand to stop Jake from walking further. He pointed to shop on their right: Heath's Shoes. The shopkeeper could be seen bustling around behind his counter. "We know where others heading. Let's get something for your feet."

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

Remmy was a bit surprised when Trice glomped Tilt. She laughed nervously. She felt weird when people she knew did weird things in public. The whole association with weirdos. It was a weird thing really. Even when talking about anime and manga, things she liked, she felt weird talking about it out loud in public. Its probably something ingrained in her from her childhood. She put up with it though. She actually liked these sorts of things. And anyways, she was walking around in her PJs. She was a weirdo alongside them.

She pushed up her glasses and joined the group. "You're tilt, right?" she said, "I'm Remmy! I'm new to PL, so you might not know me. I rp with Kale if that helps you!"

"Hey, I'm Fvaar." Yet another person with glasses... I don't think that any of us sleep in them. "I RP with Nick, who you may remember as the person who vomited on Kale- well, almost vomited on Kale. Oh, and you're Tilt? Um, hi! We've moved onto emotion in TOK, and are trying to identify primary emotions. Not that that's relevant or you likely care, but, you know, IB is something we have in common and it makes stuff a bit less awkward. I think."

Trice laughed and draped an arm around Fvaar's waist. "Tilt, meet Nick's handler, Fvaar. Because she's just told you that. And of course Gio is here. And Carly, creator of the potted pot smokers and vegeTable."

Her eyes scanned the group still trailing down the street. "Ren just went into a shop with NA. I think that's NA. Night's lurking somewhere here. You'll love his tie. Temmo... um, that's Eru, and he's standing right there with you. Let's see. NVE... aka PMX... is here and Monfrox. Oh, and James, who is Morlo. He's newer to the group, like Carly and Fvaar. They make good additions. I think I'm missing some people. Oh, Bran. He's coming up the street."

The little Italian sucked in a deep breath and then cupped her hands to each side of her mouth. "Bran! Damnit! Hurry up!" She shrugged and added more softly, "He's just so pokey today. Must have had a long day at work."

She smiled at Tilt and wondered how he could possibly enjoy the fuzzy town without any glasses at all. It was another ironic quirk; had they been their actual characters, she could have pulled a pair from her pocket for him.

"Good point. We can always catch up later, after all." Jacob responded with a nod, stopping and glancing over to the shoe store Cer had gestured towards. It seemed like a nice place from what he could see from the outside of it. Then again, most things seemed quite nice in this city. Probably because it was so new compared to many places he'd been in his life.

"I think I'm more eloquent over the internet and emails becaue I can take the time to type out what I mean exactly. Even I can have trouble speaking at times, especially when I've been talking for a while. I mess up words and then feel compelled to say them correctly, so at times I've said the same world five or more times just to make sure I said it correctly." Jacob replied, rolling his eyes a bit. "That probably makes me look even stupider, I'm guessing."

"I'm good, thanks, Eru. No, I'm not Tilt, Remmy. Tilt is over there." An arm waved down the street to where Bran was oncoming.

"Primary emotions! I vaguely remember that now you mention it, Fvaar." Tilt rubbed his hands together and glanced down at his bare feet. Well, all those hours of running barefoot on the martial arts studio's rubber mat helped to thicken his soles. "IB insane, what?" It was a bit of a vocal mannerism he shared with Dora.

"Swithers, that's a ton of people showing up. The gods must be crazy, right?" He squinted, tipping a grin in her direction. "What's the plan? Paint the town hot Pepto-Bismol pink?"

"Sorry." Brandon said sheepishly. He had such a need to please others, and never slipping up, but oh did he slip up often. He hated feeling like he'd slipped up, because some time, people might be counting on him.

He rushed forward, once Trice (Know to him as just Swith, and he'd never get used to the other one) called for him, and sheepishly looked to the ground, occasionally flicking his eyes to the side, or the sky.

"Sorry, I didn't realize we were going out, and . . . Yeah, sorry."

James followed the groups silently, slightly farther back then Brandon. He honestly didn't think anyone was going to pay all that much attention to him, given that he was, well, himself. It didn't bother him, he was used to it, being ignored, in general. Story of his life, except when he WANTED to be ignored, then he never was. He sighed audibly, maybe loud enough to be heard by the group, maybe not. He kept his head down, in general, and simply tried not to bother anyone, as he thought he would if he actually tried to talk. He looked up, just a little, when Trice mentioned his name, but other than that, he kept to himself. He watched as Brandon ran ahead, and stayed back, still. He wasn't one for groups... And the sheer number of people only drove him further back.

"I haven't the slightest idea of what the fuck is going on anymore." Brit said after he perked up from hearing his alias called, still trying to contain his yawns as he came back from zoning out. "We need some intros. I can't figure out everyone, and I'm just hungry." He wondered what all he could do in the world. Then again, there didn't seem to be anything really going on besides just hanging out. He was fine with that. As long as he got food, which was attributed to his exceedingly high metabolism that he had for a while now. This was also why he was so frickin' skinny. 19 years old, 6 feet tall, and under 140 lbs. made him really lean. He looked to Bran and waved. "Sup, man?"

I woke up late and mentally scolded myself for doing so. It wouldn’t help though I never could wake up early on the weekends no matter how hard I tried. As I rolled out of bed out of bed I reached over to grab my phone and was only slightly surprised by it not being in its normal spot. At this point my head was still buried under a pillow, however when I looked up I was baffled by what I saw. It looked like my room just…different. The walls were a different color, there were more books and dozens of strange fetishes that I didn’t own were laying around the place. I quickly sat bolt upright startled by the scenario and wondering whose house I was at. I began groping the nearby nightstand and pulled up the cover in an effort to find my phone but was disturbed to find that there was a pile of human organs in my bed.

This was very disturbing and I nearly jumped out of the strange bed landing on a nearby pile of books. After staying their panting and thinking for several minutes I came to the conclusion that I must be dreaming. Had to be this was just too weird…But if this was a dream it was the most lucid one I had ever had. I reflected that this might be something more than that but quickly decided that now was not the time for dogma and moved to leave the room. I soon realized the whole place was a warped version of my house and began to go about my daily rituals like I normally would.

Once I was done showering, shaving and dressing myself it dawned on me that there was something on the roof. And then it hit me. This was the DEiMOS. A right proper DEiMOS. And not just any DEiMOS it was Prims DEiMOS. This made navigating the place that much easier as I realized that I must be dreaming and decided to simply play along. I used all the head canon I could muster and found that this place was indeed the DEiMOS. My first though was to use it to wreck untold damage on everything I could find a very typical response for me, but something internally made me decide against it. Instead I decided to leave as the whole place was freaking me out.

I navigated my way to the places exit only making a few detours to make sure that this was in fact what I thought it was before stepping outside. I was in the back yard of a large apartment building with my back to a block of marble. My jaw dropped and my mind raced. However I was snapped back to my senses as I saw a group of people walking across a nearby street that I recognized. In a drunken haze I wandered after them not sure exactly why I was doing so but following some sort of instinct.

Remmy was confused by "Tilt's" response. She had a look of confusion on her face. "But........ What?" she said, "Are you messing with me?" She looked around, confused. She was sure this was tilt.

Anyways, she turned to Fvaar who tried to speak to her earlier. "Hi Fvaar. Nice to see you as a person," Remmy said, giggling at her quip.

"If it is a prank...free trip! And we could go see the ocean, I've never seen the ocean before." PXM babbled on as his train of thought derailed. Eventually he just stopped talking and was humming a tune stuck in his head. He didn't really seem as crazy as he tried, more of a mixture of excitement and nervousness. He took a second to push his wire frame glasses back on his face. The frame was designed for reading, but the lenses were for distance.

Trice sighed. "Now we've gone and lost James. Braaann- oh, there you are."

She looked up at the teen's face and chuckled. "Alright, everyone inside. Get us a good table, Bran, please. The sooner we settle, the sooner we can figure this out. I'll be right back."

You didn't spend your life as a loner and come off unscathed. Trice needed a breather. The young woman was accustomed to spending her evenings in front of a monitor or else curled up with a book, when she wasn't knitting. She worked a job that kept her fairly isolated except for needing to interact with a few members on her team. She lived with Ren, who was a very quiet and unobtrusive person. And so, as she looked back, she spotted James and thought perhaps he might be walking in her shoes, or perhaps she was walking in his.

She stuck her hands in her jean's pockets and walked back down the street to meet up with him.

"H'lo," she smiled and fell in step with him. "A bit crazy around here, huh. Some people are social butterflies and can keep up this pace all night. Others, like me, get excited to see people and then they go sit in the corner and nurse their drink because, after a while, all the chatter sort of drains them. I'm ready for a corner and a glass of buttermilk. How about you?"

James looked over to see Trice next to him, and was actually quite surprised she was actually talking to him. Honestly, this was a first. People never talked to him... He was always the one that had to make contact. He listened to her talk, and honestly, given just how much taller he was than her, he felt kind of weird. If he knew her a bit better, he might joke around, but right now, he struggled to form words. He nodded to her silently, knowing exactly what she meant. She was describing him, in general, except for the buttermilk. He had never had any, didn't know what it was like. He looked down at her, still trying to formulate words, before audibly sighing, and internally cursing himself, before actually talking. "I know what you mean... If I knew y'all a bit better... I might not have such a damned problem... But given that I have no idea who any of you are... I'm insanely awkward... Especially since the only person who's really talked to me is a woman..." He obviously meant Trice with that last statement.

"Brit, I'm Fvaar, the person who plays Nick, who is a cat. Remmy, it is excellent to see you in person. Actually, it's excellent to see all of you in person." She grinned.

Ren opened the door and they stepped into the shop.

"Print is easier than spoken. It was more difficult when I was younger and first studying in America. Now, not so difficult. Still fuck up words though." He pointed to a selection of tennis shoes for Jake to try on.

"Moab sent us," he adjusted his glasses as he explained to the shopkeeper. "One pair shoes, one pair socks."

The shopkeeper nodded. This was common practice for the cultists (as Ren very well knew, having deemed it so ages ago) and "Moab" was the code word that footed the bill. The Japanese man settled onto a bench and waited for Jake to pick what he wanted.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

"Alrighty, Swith." Brandon said, managing a small smile at being given a task that was virtually impossible to screw up, except that Brandon was a Booth guy, and sitting in a table in the middle of a crowded restaurant where anyone else around you could be listening in wasn't his first idea, he compromised for the rest of the group, and picked one of the larger tables that would accommodate most of the group, and if not, neighboring tables could suffice.

His mind raced. What were these people (Whom he'd known so well on the internet) thinking of him now that they were all there personally?

Anyways, she turned to Fvaar who tried to speak to her earlier. "Hi Fvaar. Nice to see you as a person," Remmy said, giggling at her quip.

Trying valiantly, despite not actually being that valiant, to keep up with everyone, Fvaar frowned as she re-remembered the stuff.

"Brit, I'm Fvaar, the person who plays Nick, who is a cat. Remmy, it is excellent to see you in person. Actually, it's excellent to see all of you in person." She grinned. Who else had said something- Gio. She smiled at her. And Tilt- the girl smirked. "Of course, we could analyze this to death. After all, how do we know that we're perceiving any if this correctly? Sorry- if all this TOK stuff starts getting on your nerves, let me know."

"I could talk your ear off about psychology, especially cognitive psych," Tilt remarked. "But not without a tall glass of water. And speaking of tall glasses of water, 'scuse me a bit."

He slipped out in the gap between Brit, Fvaar, Remmy, Bran and Gio, and headed further down the way where he'd caught sight of a shoe shop. He would've gone to talk to James a bit, but Trice had that covered - she could do it better than he could. He'd probably end up terrifying James into hiding inside a grandfather clock by sheer force of randomness alone.

Not that he wouldn't give it the old college try as soon as he came back with some footwear.

PXM sat, he started trying to think of what he would eat. Choices were a hard thing to deal with on the spot. He often looked like a moron even though his subconscious had already decided. Green Chili Cheeseburger or Chicken-fried Steak? His mind was emptied and the choice would be made when he ordered. The tune creeped back into his head, filling the thoughtless void.

"...gunpowder and gelatine, dynamite with a laser beam..." he sang with the music in his head.

Jacob didn't take very long, finding some simple white socks and black and white shoes that fit him. Again, he didn't care too much what they looked like as long as they fit him properly. "It sure is. I couldn't imagine having to learn English as a second language though. The rules for grammar don't make sense to me most of the time. No one can learn it all, either, even if they speak it their whole life. Then again that fact is true for just about every language, I suppose." He continued to speak at a slightly slower than normal pace to let Ren keep up easier, trying to remain conscientious and not rude.

He sat down on a different bench and quickly started putting the shoes and socks on, and started tying the laces tightly, before standing back up. He lifted up a leg and shook his foot back and forth to make sure it would stay on, before doing the same with his other foot. "Seems good, Cer. About time to head back to meet up with the others, right? Unless there's something else we should get done first, of course."

Prim walked up the group as calmly and coolly as he could and took a seat with the rest of the PL group. He tried his best not to draw attention to himself and look like he knew exactly what was going on when infact he was completely losing his mind. He was dressed nearly all in black, he was wearing a pair of black jeans, black leather shoes and a black shirt with the worlds “The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown” and a picture of HP Lovecraft on it. He had a large black fur lined leather coat on over it that looked like a gothic version of a fighter pilot attire. He had a solid black dog tag draped around his his neck and he as he sat down he rested his elbows on the table and put his hands to his face showing a solid black metal ring on each finger.

"I'm fairly convinced that the internet opens a lot opportunities, though I never imagined this," Serina thought about it, looking down at her steps as they walked along. She'd stolen a pair of Gio's shoes before coming downstairs. "Since I see that it is in fact, some of you people from NationStates, I suppose I'm not against a cult. Possibly. I was still legally kidnapped, taken against my will, but I want to assume they had parental permission. Still not an excuse."

Then again, this honestly didn't seem like something Serina's mother would do. She remembered back to when they saw a Toys R. Us commercial where they told children they were going on a "boring" field trip to the woods, only to be revealed at the last minute that they were in fact going to the titular stores. Her mother had complained about how pissed she would have been in that scenario, not only because her child would have come back with, "loud, flashing, hunks of plastic to trash [her] house more with," but being tricked into thinking her kid was going to the woods to learn about nature, not be on a commercial, and had, "instead of learning about nature, [her child] only learned about and been used to propagated consumerism." So yeah, she didn't think her mom would sign her up for such a "trip", let alone without her there, or without Serina's permission.

This was certainly an odd occurrence of events.
