What was left of the pig carcass washed out to sea, the meat having been taken and packed up, ready for storage in Cuisine's refrigerator. He'd also, at MB's request, taken the spleen.
The chef trundled back up to his cabin, where he found a strange reptilian being looking up at the top of his door, where MB was still soaking in a bucket.
"Hello. Here for a meal?" he asked, incuriously. He knew the rabbit wouldn't come down without pranking the reptilian mercilessly...somehow...even without any tools.

“Yes, it was alright, although I personally wasn’t in much of a mood to do anything during it.”, Katya replied. “I felt...mopey, as if there was no energy to use, and all I really wished to do was eat. I blame it on my damned parents’ bickering, more than anything else.”
Finished with that, she rolled over to better face Dora and asked back, “And how about you? I didn’t see you much, and I couldn’t even sit with Yoshi through most of it. Things haven’t been as active and social as I’d previously hoped for when we came back to this island.”
Dora snuffed the e-cig, mindful of Katya’s state, and nodded down at her. “Definitely. You don’t need to be stressed. Not now. Can I do anything to help you relax?”
She ignored the mention of Yoshi, to follow her own suggestion.
“Not really anything food-wise, or whatnot.”
Katya was a little tired of food and eating. Really, she blamed that for the majority of the weight she was gaining, despite her still-slim figure; her stomach was the only noticeably grown thing on her, besides other key areas that she’d need for the baby.
“Maybe some company is all I needed. I’m still a little...meh, and I just feel like maybe hanging around with another person. Hell, I’d hang out with one of the kids if it helped, maybe…”
“Well, you know, I think your sister could use some looking after, anyway. Earlier, there was this stranger hovering around, and she seemed a bit uneasy.” The changes to Katya’s figure Dora had noticed, but didn’t comment on. Not that she didn’t appreciate them - she felt sure Katya knew that - but they were just something that happened.
The redhead lowered herself onto the sand next to the aristocrat, placing a hand on the small of her back. She herself might have been sterile, but she’d watched her mother go through pregnancy with her younger siblings and knew what was in store. Rubbing Katya’s back, Dora inquired casually, “Any thoughts on the kid? It’s going to be tough on you, taking care of him or her and getting the company set up at the same time.”
“I know, I know.”, Katya replied to Dora, “It’s actually a little, oh...I don’t know, stressful, really. I’m excited and everything, but can I be honest with you? I have little actual time to work, and then I can’t do anything of what I used to while carrying a child, and then afterward? I’ll have even more responsibility, and work, and less time to myself, even though this is all because of what I wanted. I feel like I may have bitten off more than I can chew sometimes. It makes me a little bitter.”
Dora raised an eyebrow.
“You can always be honest with me. You know that.” She folded her arms. “As for the rest of it, there’s no shame in that. You’re doing what you want to do, and you’ve got me to help out with the company. That’s all anyone can ask for, really.”
She straightened out again and wrapped an arm around Katya’s shoulder. The night air was chilly, but the scent of the sea made up for it. Salty, yet comforting.
She couldn’t resist a minor jab, at that point, to indulge her playful side. Not everything had to be serious doom-and-gloom, or dramatic.
“Besides, I can also help you to relax, if you know what I mean,” she drawled, winking.
The sun had set a long time ago, yet they hadn't noticed. She wasn't someone who normally had time for poetry, but there was just something almost sublimely right about sitting on a beach with a lover, oblivious to the passage of time.
She leaned in close enough to let her breath blow across Katya's neck as she spoke.
"How about it? Up for 'relaxation', or would you prefer staying here for a while?"
