Sometimes, in order to be kind, you must be cruel. Sometimes, in order to build a better world, you have to destroy the old one. Sometimes, in order to defeat evil, you must do evil.
It is a realisation that will have adverse effects on him. It will change the core of his character, and make him into something that he had never thought he would become. But whether that something is good, or bad, is up to you, the other players, to decide as you watch things unfold.
