The Empire of Gaia, the result of the Third Grand war, the nations of Gaia united to form a mighty empire that conquered many systems, The Empire of Gaia is a ‘True’ Democracy, with everyone voting on everything….Expect military actions and laws. The Empire of Gaia military is the Gaia Defense force, who have saved the empire multiple times from defeat. The Empire has fascist tendencies. But mostly keeps them hiding.The GDF is mostly a peacekeeping force, but is capable of Kicking ass if needed.Currently the empire, is fighting the various rebel groups throughout it’s systems.
Ragon Empire-The Ragon empire is a mighty military and authoritarian empire,founded by Illgoth.They conquered many systems and are always on the hunt for Precursor artifacts, including superweapons.
YIsuta Shogunate-Born from the Clan wars,which ended in Yukage Victory, the Yukage promoted peace and expansion,through that always changes when another clan takes the reigns. You better hope a peaceful clan is in charge when you meet them. They are famed for their use of Power armor, the most current one being the Mk-IV "Ronin" Power armor, which is pressured for space, oxygen, protection, and HUD. Humans-I think you know them enough.But I may say one thing, they are considered the sleeping giant of the Galaxy,even by the mighty Yste.Why?Because during peace, they have a rather small military,and promote diplomacy instead of war. But when you mess with them.Run and fast.They can turn their small military into aGinormous one, just at the snap of a finger. And when the wars done,they go back to a peaceful race, with a small military. Keeping the rest in reserve. The other races can’t wrap their heads around it.Oh, and you do not trifle with a Human Titian.
Yisuta-Space Samurai Bears. They are brutally honest, and honorable warriors. Their poetry about war is famous through the galaxy, and their leader, Yawr is said to be one of the wisest man/bear in the galaxy.Yste are much like their Gaia cousins, but instead walk on two feet, and have two arms were their forelegs would be.They have paws, which allows them to grab objects,but lack oppositional thumbs, the Yste reproduce sexually. Yste are considered one of the best writers in thegalaxy.There poems about war, conquest and death are popular with any race, including the Ragon.The Yste where discovered by the GDF ten years after the War against the Ragon. (About 2249) They soon became great allies.The Yste are ruled by a Shogun .
Ragon-Spartans in Space! The Ragon are the exact opposite of the Yisuta. Unlike the Yisuta who will let a defeated opponent go to live another day, and give defeated races a chose to join their Empire, the Ragon will kill them, rape their women, and then enslave them.All the Ragon care about is war. And lots of it. As toy can tell, the Ragon are a bunch of assholes, who battle cry is curses, and death threats.The Ragon hate I repeat hate Humans, but can stand pretty much every race besides Humans and the Engineers .They mostly hate the Humans and Enginner for that is who they are.That and there culture says that War is the only thing keeping the Star father from coming back.
Engineers- Space Atheist-Basically a race of energy beings inside living metal, that can be shaped and altered to the will of the entity within, hence a natural ability with something like shapeshifting and the like, even being able to resemble biological beings in pretty much every way but actually being made of substances that constitute something or than living metal. Very little is known about the origins of this race of pure energy. Cursed to spend their lives trapped in living metal containers, they nevertheless praise their unknown creators, though in truth, few know how they really came to be, and thus, the legends of their creation are many and varied. This includes myths that say they were once a fully biological species that was wiped out on another world an extremely long time ago, and were perhaps converted by themselves, or by the race(s) or beings that wiped them out, into the form that they are now. Engineer possess extremely advanced technology. They are even able to create artificial wormholes, and this knowledge is coveted by the Orks(a rival race) and is one of the reasons the two races are in conflict. Most Engineer consider themselves to be peaceful and are only interested in the pursuit of knowledge, though there are a few that deviate from this. They do, however, realize that they live in a hostile universe and must, therefore, protect themselves. While usually Engineer are unified, there have been disagreements regarding the war with the Mantis: some believe that peace should be made at any cost, including handing over the artificial wormhole technology to the Ork ; others claim that the Orks cannot be allowed to get their hands on the technology, as it could allow the enemy to bypass the static wormhole network and strike at the very heart of Engineerspace.
To a human eye, Engineer ships look like giant creatures of the sea. Their graceful, nearly transparent looks hide deadly weapons and defenses, which they do not hesitate to use when threatened. The most awe-inspiring ship - the Monolith, ensures that most enemy ships do not survive an encounter with the Engineer fleet. Because the Engineer are by nature mostly a peaceful race, most of their ships (Except the Trireme and Monolith) are not well-suited for close-combat, instead possessing better range and supply. Furthermore, the Engineer possess very powerful and diverse static defensive weapons structures.- created by Videssos, with afew edits made by me.

The orks are an ancient race, said to be created by the precursors, as cannon fodder for battle. Of course the Orks rebelled, and fought a never ending war with the Precursors .The war ended eons ago, with the Orks coming out as victors driving the Prescursors to extinction. Well most of them.*Smirk*
Thresia-Romans in Space!=The Thresia are a cunning and cockey race.They where the police of the Galaxy, going on ‘Peacekeeping’ missions, but now they do it with the Yste, and Humans.Even they are mighty warriors,they will not dare fight them.
Nal Jut-A cowardly race of traders and merchants, they are not brave, and thus do not make great fighters. They normally give slaves to the Ragon and Thresia for their gladiatorial fights, and other goods to the others. There kingdom surrendered to the Thresia 2134 CE, do to the Nal Jutta military being non-existent, and no there was no mercenaries crazy enough to fight them.
Rithians-A subspecies of Humans, they are blue-skinned, and have a history of dictatorships and xenophobic governments.
Koodu or Rockmen- The rockmen of Veshos IV. They are very strong, but gentle, and are either mercenaries, or teachers.They are also resistant to fire, and are almost as good storytellers as the Yste.
Fevor- Believed to be a subspecies of the Ragon from their first empire, the Fevor have devil horns on their heads, or just black spots where the horns should be, the one with horns are higher up in social class. Mostly become mercenaries, pirates or cooks.
Konari- The fishpeople of Konaria, they are master ship builders and designers, and brilliant tacticians .
Liraz-Also called Lizardmen, the Liraz are reptilian people, who usually become slavers, mercenaries or bounty hunters.
Irathit-The Tribal people of Ire, they are fierce warriors, as the Thresia soon learned once they where beating back during the First battle of Ire.
Milirian-The people of Miliria, the Milirians hate the Ragon empire for destroying their great kingdom, and are the leaders of resistance against the Ragon in their empire.
Migria-The Migria have superstrength at birth, and keen senses, they are loyal to the Ragon, and served as Illgoth bodyguards before the praetorian guard was established. Now they are heavy weapon specialist in the Ragon army.

History-2000’s-The Ragon Empire is reborn by Emperor Illgoth, they conquer the following races, Milirians, Fevor, Liraz, and Drov.They slowly begin to expand westward.The Yukage unite the clans after 100 years of conflict, they begin to peacefully or forcefully take in races into the Shogunate, depending the clan ruling at the time.The Thresian empire makes first contact with the Ragon, they begin a trade agreement, and a non-aggression alliance. This would till the current year.
2100’s-The Third Grand war happens, uniting the humans under one flag, they would gain FTL the same year, and go taking systems, mostly peacefully, as they meet no aliens, besides ancient ruins of what is suspected to be a site of a great war. The empire begins to settle down, when the Gaia civil war happens, between the Jer system, who want to be independent, and the Empire, after five years of conflict.
2200’s:The Humans make first contact with the Ragon, who begin to attack them, seeing the humans as a new race to enslave. The next seven years where a one sided war in favor of the Ragon, until they reach Gaia, in which the Empire has a trick up it’s sleeve, the Ydin class Dreadnought.Human-Ragon war ends in Human victory, all systems lost are recaptured by the Humans, with one being a planet for diplomacy, to keep the peace between the two races.Humans discover their psychic abilies, and a school founded by Daniel Bucklebee is made.The Order of the Merciful Hand is founded as a vigilante group.The Hardrock incident happens,in which the Ydin class dreadnought goes dark, and a ten man Search-and-Rescue team is sent, only three of them come back.
2300’s-The DMZ crisis happen, nearly causing a second Human-Ragon war, the Order of the Merciful hand take out a Hunk Cartel, who where dealing in slavery and arms trafficking. The rumored to be immortal assassin, Shadow, kills the Thersian Emperor, Kullus. The Mercenary groups, Blue Moon, Black Sun and Blood gulch take over the Ursian system, and after a six month war with the Empire of Gaia, Yste Shogunate ,The Thresian empire ,the mercenaries are defeated.
2400’s-The Rithian empire begins its conquest of many sectors and systems. They do not conflict with any of the other empire, and are made up of the Ko’ra. A subspecies of Humans. The Yste Shogunate and Ragon empire go to war. Ending in a stalemate. The Thresian Empire goes to war with the Empire of Gaia, ending in Human victory, do to using the new “Peaceful but fierce” Doctrine, which makes the military small during peacetime, but large and mighty during wartime, another reason is the Human Kalos-class titans. The Order of the Merciful hand wage war against the Jut cartel, it last for seven years, ending in Order victory.
2500-The Rithian Empire civil war begins, and end twelve years later, in the collapse of the Rithian empire. The Rithian Republic is founded, and begins efforts to take out the Imperial Remnant. The order of the Merciful hand loses twelve thousand men in a war with Black Moon criminal organization, nearly ending in disaster before the Order is forced to cut their loses, and make a truce with the Black moon. The Empire of Gaia and Rithian Republic make an alliance.
2551-Current year.
Famous people- Humans- President Comstock,the founder of the Empire of Gaia and Gaia Defense force,Comstock promoted ‘True’ democracy and personally wrote the Ordus Unitus (Gaian for Order Unitied), the constitution of the Empire, and established the GDF as a peacekeeping and police force, only going to war when needed.He also wrote the fortification act, which brought in martial law and conscription of all able body males if needed
President Cain-The President of the Empire of Gaia and supreme commander of the GDF during the war against the Ragon. Cain is a controversial figure in the Empire,do not let his many statues in the capital of the Empire, Eypra fool you. He is controversial for his various tactical decisions during the war, such as letting the most powerful ship in the Human navy at the time, The Ydin class Dreadnought, the Ydin stay at Gaia to protect it, and letting the planet of Plutil die, his excuse?
"We need every able body men and women to defend Gaia, a small planet that can barely hold 10 million is not suitable for our survival as a species"
He also didn’t take the Ragon threat seriously enough at first, thinking they were just pirates. It took the fall of Alpha nine for him to declare a state of war. He then enacted the forticaction act, conscripting all able bodied men into the military. He also took pretty much all the food off the small world of Yutu, to prepare for the siege of Gaia. That and the Ragon were about to attack. In the end, the Humans won the war,but Cain developed a severe case of alcohol and drug dependency,became ever depressed , and then committed suicide.Why? Because he couldn’t take the Guilt.
President Abel-The man who made Yste great allies in the treaty at Kyu.
General Walker-The GDF’s best military commander during the War against the Ragon, Walker tactics are still studied at many military academies, and he is the most well known man awarded the Onyx star(The highest military honor)
President Harper-The first female president of the GDF.She steered the GDF and Ragon out of a second war, about two centuries ago.
Charles Bucklebee-Said to be one of the most powerful Human Psykers to ever live. Proved to the Humans that they too have psychic powers
Ragon-Emperor Kilgon-The Emperor of the Ragon empire during the Human-Ragon war.He was said to as strong as thousands of men, and a tactical genius,of course the Ragon are known for making their heroes mightier then they where.
Warmaster Yilgon-The Warmaster of the Ragon empire during the Human-Ragon war.Like most Warmasters,he beat the old one in honorable combat.
Emperor Gilgon-The Emperor of the Ragon empire during the DMZ crisis, which nearly started a second Human-Ragon war.
Emperor Oligon-The Emperor who saved the Ragon empire from destruction from the Ork warboss Gunzkill
Yisuta -Shogun Kuthlri- The Shogun of the Yste during Treaty at Kyu, said to be one of the greatest poets and one of the most powerful Yste psykers to ever live.
Iulthi “The wise”-A immortal Yste, who is said to be as old as the precursors. He is the adviser of the Shogun and the most powerful Yste Pskers to ever live.
Orks-Mekboy Gunzeck-The best Mekboy to ever live, it was said he could fix anything.
Warboss Gunzkill-The smartest Warboss to ever live, he nearly brought the Ragon empire to it’s knees, if the Emperor didn’t beat him in one-on-one combat
Wierdboy Psy-The most powerful Ork psyker, when you meet him, run and fast.
Imperial Remnant- Miria-The heir to the Imperial throne before it collapsed, now with her father died, she is the only hope to uniting the Warlords.
