I'm quite easy to embarrass.....

Anyway! I shall post at some point in the future, and have the group get a camp spot.

Name: Sasha Orlov
Age: 45
Height: 6'7"
Race: Human
Maglium User: nope
Appearance: image Sasha is a tall giant of a man. The best animal to compare him to is a bear, because he is large and thick, with sort of hunched shoulders.
Weapons: rifle, luger, large machete.
Bio: Sasha was born to a family living in the city of Yakutsk in the Russian Far East. His father was a Russian oil prospector and his mother was a Yakut whom his father had met on a prospecting trip. He exceeded in academics from a young age, and earned his PhD from the Russian Academy of Sciences in physics, specifically in thermodynamics. He became a prominent researcher in the (admittedly small) field of unconventional energy transmission, especially for his advances into light-based electromagnets.

The apocalypse was a big blow to Sasha. He was forced, along with many of the people of Yakutsk(a very very anti-Maglium place) to hide from the ravages of war. Cut off from Russian supplies, many of the denizens suffered. Sasha and his father, however, were transported by his mother to an extremely remote settlement of Yakuts in the middle of nowhere. The weather in Northeastern Siberia didn't really change, and in fact life didn't change much. Over time, Yakutsk was cleared of what few bandits had managed to survive in the harsh environment, although with a much smaller population. Sasha's work at the new Yakutsk University(which he founded) was instrumental in understanding the dragons' influence on electricity, and in finding new methods of generating and using power that could work around the apparent change in the laws of physics. Thus, he was in a position to demand his inclusion in the group which is to find the dragons.
Extras:
it is my firm belief that I should never have to justify my beliefs.

Denied. There's no work around, and if he even tried to demand inclusion into the group, it would be insured that Roy wouldn't let him in. Not to mention....He's in Russia. There's no way to get across the ocean, really, other then, I don't know, ships that use sails, which would take quite a while.

Also, the weather changed a lot everywhere, basically, and life definitely changed everywhere.

-_- his work is in using photons to transmit energy instead of electrons. So long as photosynthesis works, so will this method.

Ok, so plants are no longer functional and nobody's central nervous system can transmit information.
Sounds fun.

They also have a mineral that can give you magical powers.

It doesn't have to make sense.

The dragons are products of this mineral. They're what's causing the power to not be able to turn on. Who's to say that they aren't targeting the human's electricity.

There. is. no. work. around.
