In this RP I kind of want to avoid trains and whatnot ( I imagine the reasoning could be destroyed tracks and not enough manpower to rebuild them, not to mention not enough manpower to get the coal and whatnot needed, because I think steam trains would be the only ones that would work) As well as avoiding boats. I don't imagine motorised boats working, since cars don't work, and it seems like if one didn't work, the other would either, but steam powered ones probably would. Still the issue of the coal, but yeah.
What counts as a 'sandbox' RP, anyway?

Race: Elf
Maglium User: Yes
Type: Fire
Description of Markings: Long, Curving markings travelling the length of his arm and then combining on the back of his hand to then reach just past his knuckles.
Power Level: Medium
Appearance: Messy brown hair, dark green bandanna covering nose and mouth. Dark Green coat/jacket with hood up. Dark Grey sheath across his back. Dark coloured boots and trousers. His lower face is badly burned and disfigured.
Weapons: Bastard sword (one handed but much more damaging when wielded with two).
Bio: His father was obsessed with the discovery of the Maglium, so much so that he injected himself and Dan with it. He injected too much into himself, and he died because of it. When the war broke out, the town that his mother and him lived in was heavily pro-maglium, and was fire-bombed because of it. The last time Dan saw his mother was when she was yelling at him to run, to get to the bunker beneath the town hall; when he turned around to see if she was following, he saw another wave of bombers coming in. His mother was trapped behind flaming rubble, inside the house. His last memory was her face, distorted by the heat of the fire, tears streaming down her dirty face. Then, the bombs fell. One bomb went straight through the roof, and the explosion must have killed her. The fire swept across his face, burning the lower half, and the hand that covered his eyes. He ran to the bunker, managing to scare his way in with the powers he had gained from his father's injections 3 years before. In the bunker, he was quiet, mostly due to the fear people had about him. Whenever he spoke, he was always calm and collected, if he had a firey temper - quite literally. His burns and elven ears earned him years of torment and hurtful remarks, forcing him to wear a hooded jacket that he quickly grew into, and a bandanna to cover the burns. The abuse made him slow to trust, but loyal and friendl when he does. After the war, he emerged from the bunker to see a huge winged beast, circling a group of rugged-looking people, before launching a burst of magma at the people on the ground. The dragon flew off over the horizon, and Dan vowed to find and destroy it.

Free form do what your character want, basically there isn't really any objectives, and actually if you were to crank the motor and and get the initial combustion going it would work perfectly fine since only electricity doesn't work (however I wouldn't mind knowing how living things are still living since our brains use electrons to function everything).

It's post-modern times. She should know that Gunpowder blows up. Doesn't really give a sustained blast for flight. :/
And they're clearly not very smart. Roy tells them to be quiet so they don't get them all killed and they shout at him to shut up....

Maglium User: Yes
Type: Nature
Description of Markings: Green vine-like markings running up her arms
Power Level: High, but she only uses it for tricks, not combat.
Appearance:(Image)
Weapons: None.
Bio: Amber has no memory of her life before the Apocalypse, or even during the apocalypse. The first thing she remembers is waking up a year and a half ago in a house with some guy taking care of her. When she told him she had no memory of anything at all, he explained everything that had happened, from finding Maglium, to the war, to the Apocalypse, and what followed after. In return for being allowed to stay at his house, she would cook, which she discovered that she was really quite good at. Later on she discovered that she was also really good at singing and dancing. So, she decided she would be a traveling performer and cook. The guy, who owned a pet store, gave her a Draco egg to look after and raise when it hatched, which would happen quite a while from now. And so, off she went to explore the US, singing, dancing and cooking to make money and just because she loved to do it. One day she came across a town that had recently been attacked by Famine. The people were starving, with no food and no ability to get food. She knew she had to help them, so she used her powers to make the crops grow, nearly killing herself in the process. She woke up a week later in a kindly old lady's house. The whole town called her a hero, but she insisted that she was just a traveling musician doing what she thought was right. They wouldn't hear a word of it, and when she left, she left with a Maglium headdress thing with a green emerald in the center of it, and elven styled arm bands from the town blacksmith. She continues to travel to this day, singing and dancing and cooking. She is currently wandering around in the snow in South Lake Tahoe.
Extras: Her head-dress thing gives off a little bit of warmth, and glows faintly in the dark.

Booyah! We now have a cook and a blacksmith, I am pretty sure we have all the nessecary specialists to have a small camp now.

Well, Amber is a possible love interest, but if you're not interested, I may have her be a love interest for Roy.
(Her age will depend on whether or not you want to have a relationship with her, so it's not weird)
So, yeah, I would prefer an answer either way, so I can change my next post accordingly.

As you remember Robert is an extension of me and I love cooking, so I can see having a domestic home life with a cute girl who likes cooking. I will give it a chance if you want to.

And would probably rather punch you in the throat then date anyone anyway.
For once I have an RP with one character, and that one character isn't even a teenager!
I mean 16. They're usually 16 years old.

Pretty sure Terintania and I had an idea of Roy ending up being a sort of father figure to her. We'll see how she reacts to having someone as a father figure, though.

If anyone is like that in this group anyway, I think everyone in the group would kick them out shortly later. Either that, or Chloe would be extremely uncomfortable by said person and they would end up getting her long, skinny, pointy, sharp sword stabbed through their eye. Or an arrow.
Father figures are fine, thoughPretty sure Terintania and I had an idea of Roy ending up being a sort of father figure to her. We'll see how she reacts to having someone as a father figure, though.
