Not really. Each town has it's own shops and whatnot, but there's no way for any companies to be to big because of how hard it is to get their merchandise around, not to mention that they can only make so much, due to not having any machines to make stuff. The stores there are are more like small-town stores, nothing big.

Emma has a birth defect that made her ears long and pointed past even the normal for elves, she has blue eyes and hair to match. She plans to join the fight against the dragons so she can save towns like her own home town from being destroyed.
Extras: Emma's family is a part of a pretty good fairing blacksmithing company, if you needed some decent armor or even just a well made knife you would come to them. Due to all the events that had happened companies were very unlikely and the closest thing they had now were guilds. Blacksmith United was the companies name, they built what they could in weapons and armor, but mostly they made civil cast iron items.

Hmmm. Biggest problem with steam power is getting the coal or whatever to fuel it, which is probably why there's very little steam power in the post-apocalyptic world. Accepted. Also, I think Medium Maglium power would be best. It's kind of not much of an offensive power, so none would really completely keep her from getting her butt kicked.

Not particularly. They can just heal people. It doesn't really require anything more then that.

How does that make sense? Their powers only work on people, and they can't sense life, it's that simple. It doesn't have to be 100% logical. They get their powers from a mineral injected in to their veins, it doesn't have to be logical. I don't even see how your reasoning does make sense. They can heal people. They don't know how they do it, they just can. They can't heal armor because it's not organic. It's metal. Or leather. Not skin and blood and muscle.
