I didn't compare with other apps, though. I'm dumb sometimes.

I think I'll 're-app' with a bigger number. 1200, probably.

Yeah, might want to get on that. I think you're a decent size for your region, but some people are already claiming 266% population growth, and if growth is by percentages you're going to have a rough time of it.

Shouldn't those people lower it down? I mean, seriously, 266% seems to be a lot. :/

Not my call, unfortunately.

Ahh. So maybe not so much ability to grow rapidly in your case; 40% growth was a worldwide average, so fertile river deltas might grow more, while you for instance might grow less. Why did you start your pop so small.

What about my terraces?

That would definitely boost your growth; I'm not intimately familiar with the system, but to my knowledge doesn't it require high amounts of rainfall and irrigation? I believe the output from ancient Vietnamese/Filipino/Peruvian designs was comparable to lowland agriculture, though probably not up to par with fertile river regions like the Nile and Mesopotamia.

Meh. I guess only Reatra can change it.
I don't actually care, because it'll even out by the time we get to the Ancient Era, when I get three sets of plains and a delta. :p

I'm confident south-east Asia and India can contend with anyone else's population with ease, especially if the Ameralites pick up south-east RL China.

Indeed. Keeping such a large populace satisfied will be interesting. I might go the Roman route, frankly, with excess people exported to colonize the fringes of the empire.

Yeah, my 1.1% annual growth rate is the average in modern times, so I suppose considering the lack of medicine and such would decrease that quite drastically. I've been struggling to find percentages and such for this time period, so maybe my percentage will be better suited later-on. :P My apologies.

Think more like 3700*1.4 = 5180.

That would be the growth rate humanity really experienced in this era.

So I get 980 ppl.
Am I one of the smallest nations or something?

Don't worry, I only get 680 odd people..

No sweat, it happens. A 30% increase in population over the time-skip would be reasonable.

Village of Mamora

4000 BC

It has been many centuries, and the population of Mamora had begun to grow, as the village had doubled in size since its founding many years ago due to the great harvest of fresh water salmon and corn yields. Now a village of roughly 1900 people, the Mamoki looked to the horizons, ready to explore the world, make many friends, few enemies, and spread the word of the New God.
So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. - John 8:7

Would a population of 3,484 be reasonable? That would be a gain of 996 population.

Speaking of which, what are we gonna do about the super-absurd posts from around 6000 BCE? Will we allow them to keep their sails and writing?

Also, for some reason, the dude who said he invented the wheel in 5000 BCE made my day.
*Huzzah he lives!*

Nah, son. Britain was all like "yo, why my colonies be all uppity an' shit?!" And Lord Durham laid it straight: "they be wantin' legislation with representation, dawg."

People who have godmodded so far (not that this means much):
1. Dude who sailed around the Iberian Penisula (was that Reatra?). I think he fixed that.
2. Dude who invented the wheel in 5000 BCE in Ireland (I think that was Pac union).
3. Dude who invented writing forever ago (I think that was Vekta-H).

Not sure who else.

I officially make it everyone's role to TG/tell people about godmod if they godmod. I don't read IC posts, so I won't find much of that.
If you see it, please take the time (doesn't take much) to post about it and TG the player. Thanks.

Speaking of which, your population of fifteen thousand stretches credulity. You started with, what, two thousand tops? Population in this time period hasn't grown nearly that quickly; from 6000-4000 BCE the world populace only grew by 40%.

First, I didn't sail around Iberia. I sailed to the bottom of Italia and back. Also, I am barely advancing with my sails now.
