Does anyone have any problems with me dropping out and coming back around 3000 BC? There's honestly not much for me to do right now. I love the idea, I just don't think everyone grasps prehistory and I think it would work better if I just drop back in when recorded history begins. I'll update all the things that happened in the time since when I get back. If this will get me booted, I'll keep posting every couple days: if it's allowed, see everyone in a three weeks or so! I'll still check in and keep up...

Yeah. I vote we move time up to 1000 BC. All the pyramids Re built, the Middle East would be flourishing, we could do stuff

That's not really the point of this RP. It's not a Bronze Age RP, it's antiquity.

Ehh... been working on my first post for 20 mins, pressed some random button accidentally, the whole thing disappeared... Anyway, is it ok if I just say fishing nets were invented by accident? some guy's boat sunk during a journey and a long, net like stuff fell into water... fish got stuck in it. People noticed. Fishing Net invented... The End.

Offhand our timeskip is going to be conducted in stasis- no advancement, no expansion, etc- in order to prevent silly things like "I expand to colonize all of Africa."

Essentially. There won't be population growth, only tech development to take us to the year 3000, so we can use things other than wooden clubs and actually plant more than one domesticated crop.

Yes, it did just plop down. We don't need to narrate every single thing that happened in two thousand years, unless you want me to be writing pages, which I'm not willing to do. One minute you're screaming hyper-realism sucks, and now this? If you need to sum things up, go ahead, that's your choice. Since you don't really understand what's going on, this isn't a timeskip; it's like starting the RP anew from a new date. Tings have been discovered, our populations have stayed the same, etcetera. It's not like everything has kept going; it hasn't.

Well, I don't possess any good tin-mines yet, I haven't expanded much farther than greater Bangkok currently. They're assuredly on the menu though.
