I'm the brown (I hope that's brown) in Romania. I plan to own all of Dacia, at the minimum. So, do you know where the Danube suddenly turns towards the north, before it forms the delta? That part, I want it also.
My sphere of influence would extend to Bulgaria and Serbia, which I plan to RP as being related tribes, like in real life.

That is my plan, under optimal conditions. If someone signs up in these areas, the plan changes. :)

There we go. Just like in any RP, everything is decided a month before it happens in such a way that everyone gets along fine and makes their giant empires.
Not that I'm complaining.

Corocotta Punicus is an awesome name that will be the name for my equivalent of Caesar.
Where must we go, we who wander this wasteland, in search for our better selves?
In Egypt's sandy silence, all alone,
Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws
The only shadow that the Desert knows:—
"I am great OZYMANDIAS," saith the stone,
"The King of Kings; this mighty City shows
"The wonders of my hand." The City's gone,
Nought but the Leg remaining to disclose
The site of this forgotten Babylon.

We wonder, and some Hunter may express
Wonder like ours, when thro' the wilderness
Where London stood, holding the Wolf in chace,
He meets some fragment huge, and stops to guess
What powerful but unrecorded race
Once dwelt in that annihilated place.

I probably won't do a giant empire, just a nice little kingdom to call my own, I always think too far in advance anyway, I went with Greece because it was out of the way and has the Danube as a nice natural border

I love river borders, too. Actually, most of my planned country's borders are defined by rivers: the Danube, Nistru, and Tisa (I think?).

I just want to attempt to unite the Germanic areas where Prussia began, except carve a path to Brandenburg, then I will just claim areas they sorta did.
Although I am obviously going for Silesia; IRON.

Um, Siddhārtha Gautama(Buddha) is not born for another 4,000 some odd years. Theraveda Buddhism comes into being some hundred years after that.

Hey. Horus, do you know if we're going to timeskip while advancing, or time-skip while in stasis?

If the former I need to start writing a longass post to cover a helluva lot of history.

The pace of development is much to slow for us (modern day humans) to comprehend. When new major things are made so often (e.g. iphone, ipad, laptops, more advances, yaddah yaddah) we can't comprehend the idea of simply tying a sail onto a ship was much to hard for most people to understand and develop. It may seem like a simple step for us to be like, "Hey, wind, lets put a sail to catch it," but had you never seen a sail you would have never invented it. Same goes for how we should be RP this. The pace of development was much slower. People ruling other people that were far away from them? Not an existent (much) concept. People living with walls around them? Not existent. People making written languages. Completely not existent. Stuff like this didn't happen back then because it was too hard for them to make the jump from their current technology. Today, I bet most of us would not be able to produce the next major invention that would changed the world even if our lives depended on it. Making large innovative jumps isn't easy, but it gets easier, and more common with the formation of organize states that allow people to not always farm as well as a larger populations for a higher chance to much such steps forward. The problem is that none of us care to sit idly by as our people don't develop anything new and don't go beyond the status quo, thus this RP is highly unrealistic. But whatever cause domesticated unicorns xD.

Any suggestions to fix the problem or are you that guy

1. Jump the time frame so we are at 3000 BCE, right where civilizations are starting to form.
2. Yeah that's about it. We all want to be at that time frame anyway so we might as well. Development of our villages culture? Ba humbug. People aren't doing that, they are just inventing things that will come about in the future. We could do a massive time jump and just formulate our cultures be writing about them. I think most of us would agree that it really doesn't help any of us to spend what, 5 months (that sounds about right till its 3000 BCE), saying that our villages traded with other people, new people got into power, and that we caught a lot of fish.
*Huzzah he lives!*

Nah, son. Britain was all like "yo, why my colonies be all uppity an' shit?!" And Lord Durham laid it straight: "they be wantin' legislation with representation, dawg."

The map in the OP is the most updated. Over the past 48 hours, we've had many more apps that Reatra just couldn't update yet. I sent him a link list, and let's hope for the best when he logs on.

I'm personally more preferable to jumping to 4000 BCE; that's when you start seeing interesting changes happen in a hundred years, as opposed to a thousand.
