The difference is semantic for dugouts; they can be coastal vessels as well as river craft.

A ship is a large, multiperson, armed watercraft.
Aboat is a small, singleperson, watercraft. They can sometimes have more.
Also, this is my last post here unless people actually start paying attention to any shread of realism.

Or just 4500.
Where must we go, we who wander this wasteland, in search for our better selves?
In Egypt's sandy silence, all alone,
Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws
The only shadow that the Desert knows:—
"I am great OZYMANDIAS," saith the stone,
"The King of Kings; this mighty City shows
"The wonders of my hand." The City's gone,
Nought but the Leg remaining to disclose
The site of this forgotten Babylon.

We wonder, and some Hunter may express
Wonder like ours, when thro' the wilderness
Where London stood, holding the Wolf in chace,
He meets some fragment huge, and stops to guess
What powerful but unrecorded race
Once dwelt in that annihilated place.

Damn, my posts will take a lot of summarizing. I'm good with that though.

And Trib, what did you specifically object to about realism? We can make people change yknow.

Also, good night.

Absolutely. That'll make this much more playable. Will time still advance by 100 years/day in 4500?

How abaut... Instead of making a summary of what happened in the last 1200 years to our village, we just, say, an Alien spaceship with a time dilattion device passes trough our solar system and keeps everything frozen in time for 1200 years...

Also, my town was somehow relocated by the aliens to the seattle area... damn aliens and their stupid Antics...

I apply a better solution to my villages: apply in 6000 BC (or whenever I find the RP), and then actually start RPing as late as possible. :p

Indeed, great idea. One could wait until 2000 AD and in a 5 page long post he announce that meanwhile 8000 years has passed, his tribe built a planet-wide underground empire and has dug huge holes beneath everyone's capital cities, and if he is not declared the supreme ruler of the planet, he will sink all of them cities into the ground...

My plan seriously works. I get to start out smaller, though. My tribe basically stagnates in prehistory, and it's as if I apply in 2000 BC.
I just can't post anything before 1500 BC, because that's when my nation first existed in RL. I'm basically an expert (comparatively) when speaking about my nation then others. :)

I have to ask that question because of two reasons:

1. I don't ask, and then I'm all like 'yay, thanks', and the person is actually talking to someone else, and I feel really stupid.
2. Al-Ahkri has seen me before.
